Our beauty school has been customers of the Laurel Sally's for literally decades. It's had it's ups and downs over the years but I notice all the negative reviews are at least 5 years old. And I understand where they were coming from at the time. But honestly over the last 3 or 4 years their customer focus and service has been very good to exceptional. Having higher quality store managers who've tended to last longer I'm sure is a big reason for the difference in addition to whatever extra customer service training may be offered by corporate. Don't be overwhelmed by the older negative reviews. This is a now quality location! read more

Walked in on a rainy Saturday afternoon to pick up some hair care items for a friend stationed overseas. Had I known that the bulk of my time in the store would be waiting for the two associates to pause their personal conversation and mobile web browsing I would not have even considered patronizing this location. Being ignored after approaching the employees turned this into an unpleasant visit. After they finished their personal interactions they asked me to repeat what I had asked. I did so calmly only to be told the three items I inquired about are not carried by Sally's. I thought I had been thorough when I checked online for the items but took the hint that my business was wanted here. Poor customer service is a great reason to take your business elsewhere. A for the surrounding, it is limited parking shared with adjacent businesses in a strip mall type area. Store was well lit, clean and shelves were orderly. read more

Actually I never write reviews for chain stores as I feel you are going knowing you will get mediocre crap for expensive price. I didn't know what to expect but the reviews led me to believe I would get my @$$ kicked on sight. Nothing could be further from the truth. These ladies were helpful. It's ok. The prices are not that overpriced to be honest. I've found myself going there after a different beauty supply because it's cheaper. In some cases other stores didn't carry what I needed so I ended up there. It's a small store but I never have any issues finding what I need. The staff does come across disinterested. The last time I was there the manager had to call for someone to come help me. She had some European girl come check me out while she went on break. The girl carried on a conversation at the register in front of me with the same person my transaction seemed to interrupt. I had to ask her to hold off on her convo and so my transaction. I was in a rush but she couldn't even count my change right because she wouldn't stop talking! That was annoying. Outside of that it's an ok place. read more

I only gave. 1 star because I could not complete a review without it. Worse customer experience ever! I came in the store. The clerk was in the back room but did say hello. I found the item I wanted and had to yell to the back that I wanted to pay my item. The girl comes up with her cell phone in one hand looking at something and her other hand up under her shirt on her stomach! I looked at her and then down at her hand under her shirt and did not want her to touch the items I had in my hand! I told her never mind and put the item back and walked out the store. Went into the store yesterday and bought some Ion hair color. I mixed it up this morning and I couldn't get it past the consistency of oatmeal. I called the store and spoke with Kim. She asked someone else then told me to keep mixing, it would be fine. Then she hung up on me! I think they are selling old product because I mixed for 30 minutes and it was still chunky! It has been some years since I have been to this Sally's location. I prefer the Beauty Supply store across the shopping center, due to it being a much larger store and it also being able to fulfill more of my needs. A couple days ago, however, I decided to go to Sally's in order to get a product I love and knew I could at the store. The customer service was horrible from beginning to end. I was not greeted upon walking into the store, after wondering the aisles several times, I was not offered any kind of assistance. I was also under the impression that the associate had an issue with me, she asked me several rude questions and ignored me to assist another customer when I was waiting in front of her at her register. The customer service is the worst I've ever seen at a Sally's. I only go here because it's so close to my house but they are horrible. You better know what you want and why because they won't help you. One clerk is always on her phone while checking you out at the register. It's ridiculous. They always get on my nerves. read more

I was cautioned not to go into this location because of all the negative reviews, but I called around a half hour before they closed to find that they had the colors I needed in stock. The woman I interacted with was very kind on the phone and in person, even though I was in her store 10 minutes before closing, which is something I try and avoid doing as i've worked retail before. My experience was nothing but positive, and I will definitely be returning soon for my normal shopping. read more

This place has horrible customer service. Will NOT ever return here again. Also will NEVER recommend this location to anyone that'll ever ask about a beauty supply store. This place would rather help woman who walk in after you walked in just because they're carrying designer handbags looking like they have money to spend. Such discrimination. I walked in with intensions of spending 300$ in hair extensions but because of the way I was treated because I was a "young adult" Being put after woman who come in after me, I will never return. The people who work at this location are the absolute rudest! Zero customer service skills to the point that I felt unwelcome and I should never return. I usually love Sally's, but this location needs to step up their game. Instead of stocking the shelves, they had boxes of products in all of the isles, while they stood around acting like they hate their job and their customers.
