Excellent, helpful staff starting with a very smart and caring pharmacist. All assistants and clerks are also extremely helpful and any questions they can't answer are referred quickly to the pharmacist. I feel fortunate to have a pharmacy in the neighborhood where caring comes first and service is excellent. Parking is free although shared with other businesses including a Whole Foods Market AND Ledo's pizza. Another service that matters for those times you aren't well enough to get to them for your prescription is THEY DELIVER. They sure do, in EVERY way.

I was…read morecalling around as one of my medications was out of stock and I decided to give this little gem a call. Mai picked up the phone, no prompts, nothing just an actual human being. That shocked me to begin with. Although she was out of stock she recommended calling my doctor and having them adjust the dosage as she had a different strength available. I did as she suggested and everything worked out! She even called to tell me she received the script from my doctor and I could come anytime. I showed up at 5:30pm as she closes at 6 and she said you must be Renee. I was like omg hey yes I am! The pharmacy is so cute and so private you don't feel uncomfortable like at other pharmacies. I honestly always feel judged whether it is from a pharmacist or a pharmacy tech. Mai and I got to chatting about other medications I take and she said she would make sure they were stocked on the shelf for me. Wow! How great! I also let her know my troubles with CVS/Rite Aid and she agreed pharmacists shouldn't be interfering with what the doctors recommend. Love that! After a delightful few minutes, I was all checked out and ready to go and Mai offered me a drink! Like an actual drink which normally people would buy. I was like are you sure?? I am lucky enough to have two compounding pharmacies near me within a mile from each other. So, when I recently got a prescription for a compounded cream, I knew that I wanted to shop between the two and compare prices. IMO, people don't shop around enough when it comes to their healthcare - not this girl. For the same medication, I was quoted 52% cheaper at Shady Grove than at Vashan's down the road... automatic victor in my book! The service was quick (no lines) and the turnaround was short (pick up later the next day). I wish they would text you when your scrip was ready, but I knew to show up around the same time I had dropped it off. Easy enough. Definitely recommend Shady Grove Pharmacy for all your compounding needs.

Before I had even left the doctor's parking lot, Avalon called me to talk about the prescription and to tell me they were starting to fill it already. (Super fast!). I was able to pick it up on my way home. On another visit, I was able to get medication filled while I waited. They are also stocked with other medical-related supplies as well. I called main number to inquire and was asked if I was interested in leasing the property! This didn't sound like the pharmacy would be opening.
