This was such an interesting CVS - it was well stocked and orderly but had a distinct 'seen some…read morethings' vibe. While the service was helpful, they had no baskets (with no other customers in the store) and only one cart. I've recently been finding my makeup (slowly being discontinued by Loreal and Revlon) in some of these older pharmacies so I bought them out, along with some snacks for the road. A few neutrals were that the set of doors near the parking area don't work or are kept locked, and the self checkout bags have no handles. Beyond that the experience was pleasant and I found them to have everything I needed. All in all, not a bad CVS.

The main reason that I try to avoid this location is simple for that, the location. It's in the midst of the university and they require you to pay in the parking lot, unless you wanted to chance it and run in with hopes that you won't get caught. I chanced it on this day, since it was downpouring. We ran inside and looked for what we needed. It took a moment to find what we needed and then we had to wait in the line to checkout. That took forever as they had the registers set to minimum. Ran out of the store to get back into my vehicle to figure out how to get out of the parking lot. Unless you go to U of M, I would suggest avoiding this location at all costs and go up the road in any direction.

The staff member told me to hold on, so I waited for 15 minutes. After that, he simply said their system was down. I'm not sure if there was a language barrier, but there were no other customers and no sense of urgency to help. Overall, it was a very disappointing customer experience.

Who knew Clearasil was such a hot commodity. I was about to give up and change my skincare routine, until I stopped here. I will say, I have bypassed this location so many times because of how sketchy it looks from outside. I mean, it's a place, that if it were more pedestrian friendly, would give you the notion that it was an easy place to rob or steal from. It is so odd looking, a suburban, mall adjacent CVS with a parking lot lower than the store and you have to take stares or walk halfway down the store to use the ramp. I knew coming here I was probably not going to find the item. And if I did, it was going to be more expensive than competitors since it is technically a pharmacy. One of those two things were true, and my wallet can tell you which one. Yes, finally had the item, but definitely spent almost twice as much for it. Before heading to the register I did a once over to see if there was anything else that I wanted to grab. There was, with my hand full I finally made my way to the front. What a mess this is here. With the combination of customers not knowing what to do, not enough employees in the store working, and those employees that are in the store are way overworked to the point they can't focus on the register because they are putting out customer fires. To say that checking out was a nightmare would be an understatement. With customer's not being able to read signs, people wanting to use cash or get cash back had both the self serve registers messed up. The sole employee trying to be customers cashed out would have to run from his post at the register to the self serve registers to have those customers come to the register to solve their problems. That line went as fast as prolonged street light. Lord, watching the sole employee juggle the chaos was amazing. That man needs a raise, but we know CVS won't do that. I finally got to a self serve register, no help needed because I read the sign first. Rang out and was finally out the door, down the steps, and back in my vehicle.

The whole place is a wreck. We can't buy frozen goods at this store because they have, obviously, been thawed and refrozen. Ice cream bars are just puddles. I hate to think about frozen fish or meat. The fish department is rancid. Smells like dirty underwear. Just a really icky place all around. Avoid at ALL COSTS.

Instead you have to go inside and walk up the corridor to enter the store. Once inside, it feels just like you came into the store from outside, but it felt so odd to have a grocery store as an anchor store for a mall. Nothing wrong with it, just my first time seeing this. I honestly do not remember why I came in here. And if you do come here and want to hit the mall, make sure that Giant is your last stop before leaving. I mean, you don't want your perishables to go bad by the time you finish with the rest of the mall. I'm still not sure which is the best grocery store in this area. I mean, this feels familiar in name, coming from an area where Giant Eagle is big. But a partial name is all they really share. The deals aren't always the greatest, but they do have a loyalty card. I see that you can use that a nearby gas stations for fuel discounts. In the search for my grocery store, this will not be it.

Although the receipt was a bit hard to read and scanned by the scanner, the Indian lady said she can't do anything and the only thing she can offer is store credit, I said no ma'am, where is your manager. She stated that she was the shift manager and the man to her right was the store manager, I said yes I would like to speak with him. Long story short, the STORE manager was able to help me out and complete the return successfully with the money back on my original form of payment.

Found this place for photos and was happy I could get a bunch done and pick them up before they closed at 11. The only downside is I asked and confirmed with the worker, Antonio, if they call to let you know the 1 hour photos are done. After 2 1/2 hours, I just showed up hoping they were done. They were and that was great. Just wasn't a fan that there isn't any type of communication like an email, phone call, or text notifying you because I would have liked to have picked them up closer to the first hour mark.

I cannot count the number of times when the pharmacists here and especially Hala went out of their way to help us navigate difficult situations. They have helped us through a number of fairly serious medical crises, and the one thing we don't need to worry about is the pharmacy coming through with the meds we need. When the kids come back from college or an overseas adventure, they are always greeted warmly and enthusiastically by the pharmacist, as they pass by the pharmacy counter. Needless to say it will also be my last.... I have never had to go through so many hoops to get a prescription filled. The pharmacist I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude, unhelpful, and incapable of making a phone call. I later found out that she was the MANAGER. I understand that this is my first time filling a script here and that there might be a few complications but what I experienced was way beyond that. I dropped of the script and called back the following day to check on it and was told that the pharmacist needed to verify the script with my doctor office so I gave her the number. I called back several hours later and she did "attempt" to verify this script with my doctors office. When I asked her for an update her exact words were: "No one picked up the phone so I don't know what to do." I know what you should do. Call them back!!!!! It's your job! So I called my doctor office and told them the pharmacy needed to verify the script with them, and also gave them the number of the pharmacy. I received a voicemail later that day from my doctor office and it said that they keep calling but the phone keeps ringing and no one picks up. So I called the pharmacy back again and spoke with this woman and told her that my doctor had made several attempts to contact her and it kept ringing. I asked what's the issue? She very rudely exhaled expressing to my that she was amused and she proceeded to respond snarkily "well, obvious I cannot pick up the phone if I am not here or giving a flu shot." Ok, sure. I understand that you might be busy but because you were rude you get no sympathy! Was she that inept that she couldn't look at the caller id on the phone and call my doctor office back?!?! I found this very rude and frustrating. An hour later I received a call from my doctor office and they had verified the script with her. Yay! Now I can go pick it up... I just need her to call when it's ready..... A few hours pass and I get a call from her claiming that my insurance would not cover me. I found this odd because I have had zero problems for the past 10 years with this script. But to be sure, I called my insurance company and told them that she claimed that my insurance would not cover this script. I had thought correctly, my insurance does cover this script that I am trying to get filled. So then I called this woman back again and told her that she was wrong and to call me once the script was filled. I had to explain my insurance card to her... She could not read my insurance card properly!! If you are a pharmacist, you should know how to read an insurance card correctly!! It is your job!! Because she was rude to me earlier, this was unacceptable. Anyway, I told myself that I was going to complain to the manager when I went to pick up my prescription. I picked it up only to find out that she was the manager!!!!! And that is the reason I am writing this review because the MANAGER of this pharmacy was so rude to me. This manager should be fired. If she is I might consider going back there.
