This place is cozy and I like the decor! The service was great! My coffee was amazing! Normally I'll get a regular cup of coffee but today I got a dirty chai latte with an extra shot of espresso. THIS REVIEW IS FOR A LUNCH TO-GO CARRY OUT ORDER FOR 1 (ME!) - while it's not posted on their website, I called and found out they DO have a lunch specials menu. I ordered the Panang Curry Chicken. Lunch specials come with rice and 2 spring rolls. $15 which for what you get and the large entree portion size is super good value - ESPECIALLY THESE DAYS OF OUTRAGEOUSLY SKY HIGH PRICES FOR EVERYTHING INCLUDING DINING OUT! I even had leftovers and made a second meal out of it. Can't beat that for value. I posted pics of my lunch order so check those out. I think you'll agree that for $15, it's a good deal. The restaurant is located in the Worldgate Shopping Center in Herndon off Elden. Super convenient. The inside is super cute, cozy and clean JUST LIKE 3 YEARS AGO. There were a good number of people eating in. Staff was super friendly. And what I love about this place is, if you're picking up carry out, there's a row of 20 min parking spaces close to the restaurant for quick in and out. If you're looking for an amazing value and a delicious lunch meal with a quick, no hassle in and out, Nan Thai is it! Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The staff was welcoming, and I was seated right away. I ordered the chef's special, the Chili Duck Fried Rice ($25). The portion was generous, the fried rice was well-cooked, and the duck was tender. I do wish the meat had more flavor though. My other complaint was the spice level. I ordered it at spice level 3, but it had no heat. Thankfully, the server brought out chili condiments on the side, so I was able to adjust the spice to my liking.

We've been there quite a few times since they've opened recently, mostly at the bar but one time a table with other friends. Service is always good, all the drinks are exactly how they are explained on the menu (and I've tried a variety), and the FOOD IS AMAZING! We have ordered the burnt pork belly app a few times and have always enjoyed it. If you know what pork belly is, you shouldn't be disappointed in the taste or the texture of the meat! We finally decided to switch things up by ordering other menu items and have continuously been not only satisfied but impressed. The trout dip app was beyond our expectations, the fish and chips entree was a decent portion considering the price, French dip was messy but SO good with the onion straws, and occasionally we order the weekly special and it's been great!!
