I'll give this place 5 stars since I am the first review. The breakfast sandwich I had was pretty good. It was a little expensive, almost $8, but it was pretty unique with hot pastrami, egg and cheese on a sub roll. The ingredients seemed to be high quality. This place is new, I think management keeping the place clean will be vital to its quality, it's a small kitchen, with the potential to be VERY busy.

This is a great pick up and go eatery when you're having a craving for breakfast or lunch while getting some gas! Little did we know that there would be this gem of a place nestled in an Exxon convenience store! Both my friend and I were craving a variety of breakfast and lunch so we ordered large tots, a grilled cheese with ham, tomatoes, and pickles, a traditional breakfast burrito with bacon, and a build your own breakfast bowl that comes with eggs and cheddar jack cheese and I added mushrooms, diced tomatoes, turkey sausage, and spinach. It was all DELICIOUS!! I have to warn you though, the turkey sausage is VERY SPICY so be warned...I would not order that again since it was too spicy for me, but everything else was fantastic!!

We grabbed dinner from Sheetz, and for gas station food, it was surprisingly great. We ordered the…read moreappetizer sampler, a burger, and the brisket melt. The sampler we chose came with mozzarella sticks, chicken bites, and mac n cheese bites for around $5, which is a steal. The burger was about $6 once I added cheese, but the base price is around $4.99--super cheap. The brisket melt was also $4.99. We grabbed bottled drinks too, which were around $2-$3. Overall, very affordable and a lot of food for the price. The burger itself was pretty mediocre--tasted like a frozen Costco patty. The brisket melt was okay, but the seasoning was whatever and the bagel bun was tough since it wasn't toasted. Still better than the burger, but nothing special. Now the appetizers... those carried the whole meal. The chicken bites had too much breading, so I probably wouldn't get those again. But the mozzarella sticks were honestly some of the best I've had. And the fried mac n cheese bites were a risky pick, but they paid off--they had Kraft-style noodles with perfect breading. If you like Kraft mac n cheese (which I do), they were amazing. Overall, eating dinner from a gas station was a gamble, but it ended up being worth it. The main meals were mediocre, but the appetizers--especially the mozzarella sticks and mac n cheese bites--totally made up for it. I'd go back just for those.

This was my go-to place for coffee, their java alert flavor is no joke!! I used to get the dark…read moreroast until another customer introduced me to the java alert and I never went back. However, lately I've been a little disappointed with the coffee for a couple reasons. 1. The coffee has been very watered down..literally. Even when I came on a Sunday, another customer mentioned out loud that it looked like more water is coming out. 2. Is this a convenient/gas station store or a mom and pop shop?? Why are they now pouring creamers and milks in glass bottles? People want to make their coffee pour the creamer and get out of there, not have to turn around each bottle to read what's in each one. And how do we even know they aren't pouring new creamer/milks over old liquids? Can they please bring back the original containers?? I'm slowly limiting my visits here. It hurts to give 2 stars from my previous one. But the coffee is literally the only reason I come here.

As someone who does not eat beef, I was excited to finally try a birria taco that had chicken birria for dipping. And it did not disappoint! Very flavorful and filling. Was told birria bomb was also good but difficult to eat. Churros were filled with some sort of chocolate cream and were warm and fluffy, so delicious that we didn't even get a picture. The space itself is very minimal with limited seating. Self service. Nothing aesthetic but it is a Hispanic grocery market with a Taco place on the side.

5/3/26 EDIT: 5 STARS - I've given other places 5 stars but have not made the effort to go back…read more This place, I go back to! Pretty darn good! Good enough for me to stop by here (a bit out of the way) three times in the last month. I've had the beef birria tacos, chicken curry tacos, carne asada, choriza, jerk chicken, and al pastor tacos, as well as the pupusas (pork and cheese, bean and cheese, and loroco and cheese). All were great! (Well, except the carne asada - this came out a bit dry and under-seasoned). Next time I go, I'll probably get the beef birria tacos again. The dipping broth is great. The third time I went, they were out of the al pastor pork. This is my one complaint: while they have a decent variety of proteins, they do not have either barbacoa or carnitas. The beef in the birria tacos is probably the match here for barbacoa, but I'd like that option without the broth and at the regular price. The two fellows that work the counter are very nice and helpful with the menu. I overheard one of them talking to another customer and he mentioned his father bought the place a few years ago. The customer said this lot used to be an old gas station in the 1980s and that there used to be a post office here, too. The parking might be tough during rush hour -- there's a handicapped spot right out front, and about 5 diagonal spots on the old auto garage side (these would be a pain to back out of if all filled). Otherwise, you're parking in the grass across the street, or in the lot on the other side of the intersection. I say the parking hazards are well worth the food, though!

I have been taking my vehicles to Jeff for Va. State Safety Inspection for over 5 years now. Before…read morethat I would go to where ever was open, with a short line. Being a mechanic myself, I've always known exactly what to expect from any inspection. The last place I took my car before arriving at Liberty Gas station was in Chantilly. This "shop" shall remain nameless, but suffice to say I was less than happy when the rip off artists there waltzed out to explain to me how my car had failed, and that for only six hundred and some odd dollars worth of work I KNEW I didn't need, they could have my car "safe for the road." I kindly paid the fee, and left with my fresh new rejection sticker. Long story longer, I found Jeff's station and had him inspect my vehicle after telling him my story. He checked everything, including the "issues" the previous shop had said were the cause of my car failing their bs inspection. He came to same conclusion regarding them, and declared he knew about them, and that I wasn't the only person that had come to him after dealing with their dishonest shop. My car passed his inspection (as it should have initially), and I paid for my new state sticker and went on my way. I was really happy to have found Liberty Gas station, and an honest inspector that wasn't out to rip people off, for repairs that weren't needed. I KNEW my car didn't need those repairs, but I can't help but think about all the poor folks that other shop was taking advantage of. And before leaving my review, I read the other reviews left by people here. And most concur with my own opinion. I did notice one 2 star review was left by a young lady who stated she felt "uncomfortable", while she was there. All I can say about that is this shop is by no means "state of the art." It is an old gas station. No "customer waiting area" to speak of (unless you count the wooden park style bench right out front). And I personally think everyone there is nice, but of course my opinion is subjective. All I can say to that young lady is "would you rather be lied to, and ripped off by smiling, super friendly people in a comfortable waiting room with free coffee and tv, or given an honest diagnosis on your vehicle, with a fair repair price by a good mechanic? Even if they don't go overboard trying to make you feel "all warm, fuzzy, and comfortable." I feel good every time I go there, and I like Jeff. They are all busy there, and for good reason. Their integrity is what matters, and Jeff has it all day long. And that's what makes ME "very comfortable", every time I need to go there.
