It really worked and the flow of traffic in and out was constant. Inside, on the small side as well, works. Loving the contactless paying option at the pump and it made it quicker on the cold, windy day I was here. After I was done at the pump I drug my nephew inside with me so we could use the facilities before hitting the road. Facilities were clean and in working order. After that we went out to the main floor and made some quick selections from the cooler for drinks and grabbed a small snack for him. We went the self serve route inside as well and were able to make a quick exit out the store and rush through the wind to get back to my vehicle. Then went inside - ordered a breakfast Sammie to go: Sausage, egg, and cheese - with extra sausage and cheese - on a croissant, plus an order of mini hashbrowns. As with all Sheetz - you place your order at a digital kiosk - which spits out a receipt - that one then takes up to the register. Paid with Apple Pay. Food came up quickly - they call your order number out over a PA system to advise it is ready for pickup. First time I've seen that at a Sheetz! Food was hot and tasty! #Sheetz

Its newest neighbor is a Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control (VABC) store, right next to Frankie's. The VABC was a welcome addition, in an area sorely underserved. The staff has been knowledgeable and helpful, the store is always clean and well stocked, and it's located in an area that serves pedestrians and drivers alike. Recently news reported a break-in at another VABC outlet, located in Ashland. Close to the end of 2025, the New York Times reported that a drunk raccoon passed out in the bathroom of the Ashland VABC store. In the story, we learned the critter broke in through the store's ceiling, consumed "seasonally appropriate" eggnog, vodka, rum, moonshine and peanut butter whiskey. Shortly after this news was reported, the South Washington Street VABC posted a holiday edition of "Raccoon's Cocktail Recommendations" at the cash register. Seems like Old Town has a new favorite VABC store.
