Everyone please read your receipts. This store is notorious for advertising cheaper prices but they don't ring up that way at the register. Almost every week I come in I have to tell them the listed prices for items because if not they'll overcharge you. They hope you won't notice, and I think it's very fraudulent. read more

Neato Sunoco! Gas, ATM, convenience store, Subway, and more! I was pumping gas this afternoon before heading home. As I was filling up, I noticed that each gas pump has a sizeable full color LCD screen over it playing various news stories (see the pix I uploaded to the review). After filling up, the durn pump would not print off a receipt, so I went inside to get one. I hit the Men's Restroom while inside. I was pretty impressed with how clean and cool looking the Men's room was. Large stone tiles on the floors and walls. The toilet and sink were Jet Black. Modern dispensers for both hand soap and Purell, plus the paper towel dispenser. There was some cool decorations as well, framed artwork and more! read more

This place is well organized, but the bathroom needed a little touch up. This could be one place Brittany Spears could walk in barefoot and not catch something on her feet, but I wouldn't suggest don't that though. The store has a lot of stuff that might come in handy when your on the go. There is even s Sibway Restaurant in the same building. I will keep this in mind for later on. Bit off way as you have to drive in as if going to a Target store. But if you are a member of "get upside you get cash back which is a great deal . It's close to work so I use this location and pop into the Starbucks in Target. There is also a Mini Market inside that has lottery tickets. J noticed that it also gives a discount to those with Safe Cards. All in all it gives a wide variety of discounts to get you to drive in and out. read more

The gas here is priced mostly in line with other stations in the area, but often skews higher. Interior is clean, and facilities are in good order. It's a not-horrible gas station, in other words. read more

I went for a late night snack and thought about getting something from the food rollers....until I saw the store attendant restocking it with his bare hands. From the box to the food roller with no gloves. So I decided to buy sealed snacks only. The attendant is nice and the store is nicely stocked with plenty of options but food hygiene is not there. read more

GasBuddy reported a mid grade price of $4.09. I activated the savings, but when I got there, the price was jacked up to $4.99. A $.90/gallon hike in eight hours for gas that was probably purchased weeks ago. The very definition of gouging. Lost my business forever. read more

Since moving to Reston last December, I've been in search of........(cue Leonard Nimoy)....a decent wine store. It's tough going from a neighborhood where three wine stores were in walking distance to a place where Safeway and the ABC store (yes Virginia, some ABC stores have wine) are the only places in walking distance with good wine. Until I came upon this Sunoco station on the way to work. Low and behold, in the center of the convenience store, a totally unexpected and large wine section. Including Kluge Estates (sadly closed now) red from Virginia and Dr. Frank's Salmon Run Riesling from the Finger Lakes. A better wine selection than nearby Vinifera "Bistro" in Reston (a-hem) Heights. On the beer side, all sorts of Bells offerings. All this plus a Subway. In a gas station. read more

This is a decent place to fuel up or grab a snack. They have a Subway inside and a fairly impressive selection of wine (for a gas station).

Three stars because there is a good Subway, here; however, this is one of the more expensive gas sales in the Reston area. Just recently, they were as much as 10 cents per gallon higher than a nearby Exxon (on Sunrise Valley); however, today, they were only 2 cents higher. Bottom line, they do tend to charge a bit more, which may matter these days. Be prudent and shop around. Not sure that they are the most expensive, but crossover the Tollway and you'll find better fuel prices on the Sunrise Valley side (This shop is on Sunset Hills). As many others have mentioned, the staff inside is nice and they do a selection of wines and beers, although I've not personally shopped for that. That notwithstanding, if you are a pay-at-the-pump kind of person, you should enjoy the Sunoco TV to provide the latest news & sports headlines. The Subway inside is a standard Subway - always good quality sandwiches -- what you would expect from a well-run Subway shop. read more

This gas station may be one of the best in the area. The staff is very nice and the selection of wines, coffee, and other "standard" gas station items is right on par. It is often crowded but there is always a place to park and go inside. The gas prices are standard if not slightly cheaper than other stations in the area. In the end it is basically set up like a major highway pit-stop without actually being on a major highway :) Thumbs way up! read more

Wow!! What a great Sunoco gas station with Subway , A-Plus convenience store and a huge selection of great wines. They carry Cakebread and Stags wines and also Dom P. I am a regular at this station and I love it. The facility is clean, clean bath rooms. Great customer service. They make great Subway sandwiches. Lines are long during lunch but they move very fast. Gas prices are competitive, only once a while they are two to three cents higher than the near by Exxon and 7-Eleven. The fuel pumps are clean with TV monitors and hand sanitizers at every pump. Love the air machine. Keep up the good work. You got my repeat business as long as you continue to offer great service and maintain your facility. read more

Friendly service is not generally expected from a gas station or convenience store. This Sunoco is an exception. Every teller I have met is enthusiastic and personablel. Not to mention they have an extravagant selection of beer and wine beyond any gas station you have ever been to... read more

An amazing location with great wine selection, micro beers, Subway and above all excellent customer service and always clean with clean bath rooms. You can not compare 2 cents price difference to a poorly run site. Safe location to shop, I always see cops parked there eating at Subway. read more

I was so disappointed with this gas station. I was fueling up a rental car for return and of course was using regular gas. I pressed the button for regular and began refueling. Halfway through, I noticed the premium button was pressed instead. I stopped fueling and went inside to tell him there had been a mistake. The very RUDE cashier just kept telling me I pushed the wrong button. He refused to answer my questions when I asked if he would help me. He refused to give me the corporate phone number. All he kept saying was "You push wrong button. It work fine." Since I positively know that I pushed the button for regular, I was furious. Instead of refunding the difference (which was less than $3) he was adamant that I was wrong. Even if that is the case (which it honestly wasn't), you would think that someone who knew anything about customer service would instead apologize for the error and try to make it right, even if that didn't include refunding the money. This guys was such a jerk that I will never get gas there again. I wish people still cared about customer service. The more we allow these companies to get away with poor service, the farther the standard falls. I will no longer go here and will take my business where it is appreciated. read more
