It's a CVS. Am grateful for the new weighted sleep mask. It seems to help with medication, to officially get a better rest. Parking is plentiful. You can now choose to get the mile long receipts, or an email. Okay think no receipt is an option at self checkout. Staff here are polite. It is a clean and organized location also. CVS is kind of tricky, as they can be expensive or have great sales. One area they generally do well is aspirin, along with allergy OTC's. Combining a coupon can help more. My husband is a Type 1 diabetic. His insulin pen is broken and he went to the Pharmacy yesterday to get enough syringes to last until the new one comes. He's done this before. The lady pulled his information up, and saw his prescriptions. She then said she doesn't feel comfortable selling him syringes. He asked why, and she said it's because you use a pen. My husband then asked if his pen is broken, how can he inject the insulin without a syringe? She said, "Well, I don't feel comfortable giving you syringes. All I'm allowed to sell you are pen needles". He asked what are pen needles supposed to accomplish if the pen is broken, and she repeated, "I don't feel comfortable selling you syringes". He thought things might have changed with buying them, but we went to another CVS and he was able to get a box of syringes with no issues. It seems this CVS does this a lot. I've read the reviews and I see others have had the same problem. I wanted him to drive back, show them the box, and tell them how he felt because of the way he was treated, but he didn't. Chancha was amazing and so helpful and quick for my passport renewal pictures!! I called this morning just to make sure that this location has the set up for passport pictures and lo and behold they do! They told me no appointment was needed and I could just walk in. I came in around 6 PM and it was so comfortable and so easy. She took several pictures and showed me which one I liked best and printed them out clearly and cut them out perfectly to submit with my passport renewal!! I'll certainly keep this in mind for next time :) only $18 ($16 with added tax) for 2 copies! read more

CVS has quickly become one of my favorite places to shop, thanks to the many coupons and sales provided. There is enough parking around the store. The app isn't the best and always asks me to update, but always has better prices than the in-store price tags, not much, maybe max $1, but still =D. As a frequent shopper of CVS for years it was a welcomed change with the customer service we received during our last visit. At the start of our shopping we look and scoured for an item that was listed online but not available in the aisle. We talked with Nenna our sales rep who walked us down the aisle to look for our item. After searching Nenna walked us back to the counter and searched the item online. After those attempts was unsuccessful Nenna called her Manger Raj we searched the store goods but was still unsuccessful. As a last attempt Raj took us down the drink aisle where we found our item. I have 2 CVS near me and this one is in my neighborhood. I've been coming to this CVS for 20+ years. Always a great experience!!! In the last 3 years I've had to come to the pharmacy often for Covid shots for my entire family including parents, to collect my meds or my elderly neighbors or family members; I am so happy to write I've always always had an amazing experience. My meds are ready before I expect them, I get texts letting me know when I can come and get my prescriptions, they call my doctor for me to request refills and I have to say they are the absolute #BEST!!!!! The lady in the pharmacy, Hyekyong, was extremely short and rude! The card swipe wasn't working initially, which I'll admit was probably due to user error. She snatched my card from me, swiped it, and threw it down on the counter. No exaggeration! I will definitely be switching pharmacies after this experience. CVS is a great place to go when you need a lot of random things. They have sleeping pills when you are having trouble falling asleep. They have caffeine pills When you are having trouble staying awake! They have a decent alcohol section and a decent snack section and a decent frozen food section. Plus, they have a pretty great rewards program that can save you a lot of money. If you have the time and patience to shopping individual stores you'll probably get better deals elsewhere, but when you just need various food and medical items, CVS is the one-stop-shop to go to. They also have a good program monthly, you get $10 want to join the program. Most times for me it is an all day process to get my medications filled. The male pharmacist, not sure his name, is always so kind and helpful. Even goes out of his way to make sure I have everything I need every time I am there. It is less stressful knowing that someone is there to assist me with my medications and answer all the questions I may have. Wish I knew what his name was, he deserves a raise! read more

Pick up your phone!!! Ive called in 3 times to cancel a prescription but every time I call there is a 1 hour hold and they still wouldn't answer. I understand its covid time but 1 hour wait time in a pharmacy call is ridiculous! Atleast pick up the call and tell the customer the approximate wait time( even if its 2 hours) and we will wait by not holding off on other things. read more

I have been a loyal customer of CVS for several years. Lately every time I go they don't let me use my coupons. Apparently someone else is using my phone number for another account. I have had the same number for 20 years. Instead of being accommodating and let me use the coupons that come to MY HOUSE that manager repeatedly told me to call corporate. This is not my problem. And it should be able to be fixed in the store. If she was more helpful I wouldnt be mad. So I left the unpurchased products and coupons for her to deal with. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF PILLS THEN TELL YOU ITS YOUR FAULT!!!! CORPORATE DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING TO HELP!!!!! I've been using this cvs for a couple months now to get my medication refilled and this time around I counted them and I only received 29. Not 30. When I called and try to ask for help with this issue I'm told there's nothing she can do right now and she claimed she was unable to look up my records or the medication I had filled three days early at that moment. Mind you it was 7:40 pm when I finally noticed the shortage so my assumption is she was rude and couldn't care less about helping solve this problem because she was about to get off at 8. She continued to make excuses that made no sense as to why there was "nothing she could do until tomorrow." When I asked to speak to a manager she laughed and goes "I am the manager" So there my frustration turned into anger. I'm now being laughed at and made to feel small by the manager of this pharmacy because THEY CANT SEEM TO COUNT TO 30. I am beyond upset with the customer service I received. I would NEVER recommend this cvs to anyone, trusting this location with my medication is proving to be a huge mistake. This woman cared so little about trying to help me and more about getting me off the phone. I was told I'd be receiving a call back today 8/26/2022 and I'll be surprised if that actually happens. Worst part is that this woman claiming to be a manager had such little care or concern for her profession and customers. The only redeeming thing about this CVS is that there is a drive thru pharmacy for drop off and pick up. Much better than going inside for an RX. The pharmacy is notoriously slow. If they tell you 15 minutes. Add 30-40 more onto that. They do have two chairs near the pick up where you can slouch with an angry expression and stare at the pharmacists while they consciously avert their eyes from your displeasure. The pharmacy here also closes at 8, so if you are sick at night you can just go to hell until morning. read more

This is one of my main CVSes...I always popped for just one item and find myself scouring the aisles for a great deal. I prefer to use another CVS for our prescriptions but for everything else, this one works in a pinch. Tip: I always print the coupons in the front and bring my coupons from home. DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!! I was hoping that after the horrible customer service I received from the Giant Pharmacy on Stone Road (DO NOT GO THERE EITHER) that this would have much better customer relationship skills. Man, was I proved incorrect. Here is a list of my top issues. GIVING AWAY YOUR INFORMATION! They start by giving away your phone number to their corporate offices without telling you and so that you will receive NON-STOP PHONE CALLS reminding you if you're late to pick up your prescription or if you're late refilling it. The number of these calls continues to increase over time, so when they first began, I thought it wasn't that big of a deal, and I let it slide. Now I receive at least 2 extra phone calls from this pharmacy A DAY, sometimes more. I called and asked them to stop these automated reminder calls and their first response was that I either had to remove my contact information entirely from their system or I could stay. I was hesitant because if they needed to call me for an actual reason, like they were temporarily out my medication, I wanted them to have my number so they could inform me. However, the automated phone calls became overwhelming, so I called back to have them remove my phone number and they THEN told me I had to call a 1-800 number and MAYBE they might be able to help me. Because apparently the store "has nothing to do with these calls". I responded, "So you gave my phone number away without my knowledge or consent and now you want me to take time out of my work day to fix this?" The lady replied in that zombie-like, 'I can't help you', nor do-I-care-to tone, "You may call the number I gave you." NEGLECTING TO REFILL MEDICATIONS UPON FIRST SUBMISSION BASED ON HIGH COST This one is actually life threatening. EVERY time I refill a medication that is expensive, or what the staff deems to be expensive, they simply don't refill it. I show up to pick up my refill and they say to me in these exact words, "Oh it was really expensive so we didn't fill it. Did you know how expensive this is?" They didn't call me to inform me before I drove all the way there to pick it up that they hadn't refilled it. They didn't tell me when I dropped it off that they know this one is expensive and warn me, they just...didn't refill it. No guilt on their faces, no particular emotion as they told me, just vacant laziness. As if the "expensive" thing was an excuse they came up with to not do their work for the day. Are they insane? First off, who asked them? Wow. Don't ever *not* fill a prescription. You could kill someone. If there's a glaring issue with a medication, fill it anyway and then inform the client respectfully. STOP ASKING ME IF I WANT TO GET SHOTS This is not exclusive to the CVS pharmacy, but I am well aware of my own healthcare desires and options and I do not need to be asked every time I walk up to the counter or phone-in a refill if I want "shots". It's a borderline disturbing way of advertising something that should be very discreet and tactful. It's rude, it's irritating, and makes the store sound rather unsanitary. Over time this crude approach makes the store become the very last place I would choose to have these services. I understand that there are never enough people staffed at most pharmacies. I also understand that the ones that are there are constantly turning over and have no customer relationship skills. However, being as the pharmacy is the part of the store that deals with people's lives and general wellbeing; any decent manager would put his or her money on this part of the store and make certain that the staff has enough interpersonal skills to not injure clients based on pure stupidity. read more

Terrible pharmacy. I've had multiple issues with just one prescription. The most recent being today when I called in for a refill. My bottle says I have 2 refills until 9/2016 yet somehow, my prescription went inactive with no explanation as to why. It made refilling a nightmare. I placed 6 phone calls between my doctors office and CVS just to get a refill. The last time I had to refill this same prescription, I placed it with a pharmacist, got a call for pick up, but it wasn't ready and never put in the system! She was on her days off and it just sat there... when I told them I got voice-mail saying it was ready, I was told that I didn't listen to the message in its entirety (which was not the case). Terrible pharmacy. I'll be changing my prescriptions to the one in Greenbriar shopping center as my insurance is only through CVS, but I'd rather drive a few extra miles than deal with this location again. read more

I had to call this pharmacy for one of my members. Waited on hold for well over and hour. Had to call the front end manager to get him to make them take my call. Then when I got Zack in the pharmacy his attitude was horrendous. When I said I had waited over an hour for help, he said with an agitated tone "Oh my God I said how can I help you?" then when I said let me speak back to the manager he said NO. Worst customer service I have ever had. I work for an insurance company identified myself as such and this is how I was treated. I cant imagine how customers are treated! read more

Lack of ability to think and figure things out must be a requirement to work at this store. Talking to staff is exhausting; plan to spend extra time when picking up prescriptions as staff will require assistance and extra time to complete simple tasks. Just got out of the emergency room with my kids, 2 and 4 with bronchitis. Called the cvs pharmacy phone number and the machine said they closed at 10pm. So we rushed to get there before they closed, we got to the drive through at 9:30pm and they said they couldn't take the prescriptions because it was too late. Even after I told her that my kids were in the car with me, and that I live literally across the street, she told me to go to another CVS pharmacy that opens 24 hours. I have literally had some kind of issue every time I have been to this pharmacy. I switched to Chantilly pharmacy (who is awesome) because of all the issues I have had. Recently my dr electronically sent my prescription to this CVS. My daughters inhaler and they ran her through Medicare not our insurance and when I tried to fix it they said it wasn't going through. Which is crazy because I run my benefits for my company and I know better. It was the worse experience.
