I told him that no it was not, I had saved a lot of money using grocery points for discounts at gas stations. He told me to contact Safeway, and maybe my points expired. I got home and signed into my Safeway account; I knew I had points because in the past 2 -3 weeks I spent $300 at the store. My account said I had 632 Safeway points and they expire on May 31st. This man/attendant at the gas station said I had NO point and so I filled up reluctantly -- and instead I should have checked Safeway as now I will loose the 10 gallons of gas with discount 10 cents per gallon because I believed this attendant was being honest; he was not honest. I lost $6 today in savings and I won't be able to use the discount because the points will expire before I can use them for more gas purchase. I will never go back to this gas station again. I even called to tell this attendant he lied, but the phone number listed online is not for this station. I do not believe in lining the pockets of those who cheat and lie to others.

After said repairs were done, it still leaked. was advised that it was the water pump and that they were not interested in doing the repairs. They put stop leak in it to temporarily seal the leak. Dumb move as that process only causes more issues. clogged water jackets internally, clogged heater core and radiator. although I drove the car to the shop I was unable to drive it home. broke down twice do to water pouring out. Picture is what it looked like as I finally made it to my parking spot. 780.00 dollars for what? Replaced water pump myself as the car was now totally broke down and had to replace a clogged up radiator. I am sure more damage due to stop leak installed by shop is yet to come.

However, when I pulled into the lot, it was neither of them. It appears that this location recently switched providers. That didn't matter much to me, except that I was a bit confused if I was at the right location at first. Either way, I needed to get fuel either way. Pulled right up to a pump, paid at the pump and let the pump do it's thing. While the fuel is being pumped, I do a quick clean out of my car to fill the time it took for the fuel to dispense. Fueling done, I head inside of the store to grab a quick drink to take with me, and grab some cigarettes. The convenience store portion of this place is of your typical size for a convenience store. I don't know how to gauge a Gulf store as I haven't come across many of them. They seem to have a decent selection of national brands that can tide you over until your next stop.

I remember recently I was talking to someone about how gas stations are going and they were like "I hate those TV's in gas stations" and I was like "I LOVE those TV's gas stations." Pumping gas might just be the most boring task in America. I wish the gas pumps were like 20 times faster. Maybe someone should make a gas pump where all the gas is stored above, and then when you're pumping it, it just flows into your car from like a giant funnel thing. Or.... just get a faster pump. I feel like technology has advanced alot... outside of gas pumps. Ask yourself this... how is the gas pump different then 70 years ago.... answer It has a TV now. And that JUST happened. Anyways, the gas station got a total reno and looks real clean and nice now. Lighting is better there too. This place is usually pretty bumpin' and decent prices compared to the stations around it.
