I really recommend this Storage Facility. I've had nothing but a great experience since the first day I scheduled my appointment to see the units. Fast Friendly service, Carol was also very easy to work with and gave some of the best customer service I've had, and I know (customer Service) being an operations manager. This place is nonsense. I've been here several years. Every 3-6 months they will increase your rent 110%. I have to constantly talk to them to help me lower my rate as I've been a pretty loyal customer. They will claim it's due to "market changes", but it's clearly scammy BS. Though I was not able to rent with this company (my 8 ft dining table may not have fit through the unit's doorway), I decided to write a review anyway to share my positive experience with Nolan. I had a lot of questions about rates, units, logistics of moving, lease agreement, etc and he was so patient and helpful on more than one occasion. He even showed me the unit I would have been renting. I never felt any pressure to sign an agreement immediately, and all the information I was given was clear and straightforward. If it hadn't been for the unit door/furniture size issue, I would have easily chosen this facility. The rates were really competitive. It's easy to rent and the place is always kept extremely clean BUT they raise the rent amount at an alarming pace and without any warning or notices ...I have a 10x10 started in Aug 22 at 179.38 and now it's June 24 And my rent is 350.00 and that's not including the late charge this is just the basic rent fees ... from 179.00- 350.00 for a 10x10 That's an increase of $170.00 in less then 2years ...I didn't even know storages do that...and there's no cap...so just be warned ... read more

From the time I called Aaron at Extra Space Storage in San Dimas, he was not only helpful but I found him to be most efficient. He explained everything in detail I would need to know as well as expectations that were to be met. I only used this facility for a couple of months while I moved out of my home and waited on my new home to be finished, but each time I needed some advice, he was right there. I did manage to lost my key, and he graciously gave me a new one. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. The only drawback, is it is a little difficult to locate the first time. It is on Gladstone, around the corner (and East) of Walmart in Glendora just to the West of the railroad track. Very satisfied and would definitely use again if I had storage needs. read more

Great location for my needs, pretty clean and the customer service staff is always nice and accessible. My only problem was the rent was pretty high once the special initial pricing was over and there was only one to none carts available for use to move our things in and out. The staff did discount my rent after I mentioned it to them. I was moving from another state where fees weren't as high so I was not used to the prices. read more

I had a unit here for a couple years after I moved my grandparents out of their house. I ended up needing to leave and find a new place to go to because they constantly raise the rent every 3 months. We went from around $300 a month when we first opened the unit to well over $600 by the time we left. The guys working there will lie to you about everything if it means selling you the unit. Everything from how much and when they do rent increases to their security. The put a sticker on your lock and they supposedly walk the grounds every day and check every lock. If they notice anything has been tampered with or damaged they'll call! Except they don't. My lock was damaged but still worked. I waited a couple weeks to see if they would ever call, they didn't. This company is a scam. We ended up finding a unit closer to my grandparents in Palm Springs that hasn't raised rent once. read more

I was looking for a place to store my college stuff over the summer. Called in and extra space helped me find a unit. Customer service was helpful through and the phone. Had some doubts about move in but figured out how to work the gate access with the help of the employee there. I got the around 6 x 9 feet sized unit. They have different unit sizes. Mine cost around $110 a month. The storage unit doors work but they're kind of old and I needed to provide my own lock. They do sell locks in the office but they're kind of pricey. Overall I think I would rate the experience a 4 star. read more

I've had storage units at this location (San Dimas) for years, as have other members of my family. The initial prices can't be beat -- yes they unfortunately go up and sometimes fairly rapidly, but they're still very competitive with the rates of other local places. The service at this location is amazing. I've mostly dealt with Aaron the manager, but the other employees have always been really nice and extremely helpful if I've ever had questions. Any questions or issues I've had (mostly my own issues, not with them) they've been more than willing to listen and figure out what would work for me to make things as easy for me as possible. For the first time in about 20 years, no one in my family has a storage unit anywhere, but if I need one again, I'll be coming back here for sure. read more

This location is very convenient for me, and I originally got my unit for a good price. They take advantage of changing their price at any point, so my unit went up 25% after 4 months. When I did originally visit the location, the staff was super friendly and down to earth. Price change was probably corporate based. read more

I have sadly been at this location for over 30 years. Shame on me. It has changed owners/names I believe three times. But in the scheme of things, loyalty means nothing to the operators of Extra Space Storage. I have a family of four and we live in a small house on a fixed income. As a result, we needed extras space. So, we rented one place, and eventually got a larger one. It was convenient and the larger space was in the $200 range. Eventually, that same unit went to over $400 so I found a smaller one, and did my best to consolidate, once again I was back in the $200 range. However, Extra Space Storage seems to have some type of price increase policy every 6-8 months. So, my new place has now gone over $300 now. Here we are in the midst of a Covid 19 pandemic and people, including myself, are hurting, people screaming about not being able to pay rent, etc., but sure enough, Extra Space Storage found it in their hearts to send me a price increase today, now up to $322. The folks that work there are nice, but this policy of raising the prices is asinine in my opinion. As I must frequent there periodically, I see lots of empty storage units as you can tell from the tags they leave on the door. When I have called, four or five price increases ago, and mention my loyalty of 30+ years as a customer, it doesn't matter. Guess they'd rather I move out. Makes sense to me... I move out (if I can) and the space goes empty like the others. No income makes more sense than keeping a place rented at the same price to a loyal customer. read more

Convenient location, reserved online for the lower web rate. I used my own homeowners insurance (brought policy with me at signing) but their insurance seems reasonable. Aaron has good customer service and works efficiently. The place has electronic code access, security, and drive up access to unit. I bought their cylinder lock for $17 or so and there is room to add extra padlocks if desired. read more
