I recently moved with JC Moving and was really impressed with this company from start to finish. They were my second quote, they really explained to me what would be charged, I decided to go with them. On the day, the crew (Cesar, Jeff and Jaime) arrived on time at my door and were very efficient in getting everything loaded on their truck, while being very friendly. At the destination, they were as efficient, everything was quickly unloaded and put in its place and they also took great pain to place a couch into a room where it barely fit through the door. The day went like a breeze, way less stressful than the weeks before spent packing. Even though I have no frame of reference, the final amount was noticeably less than my first quote. I really highly recommend them! read more

Used this local company to help unload a U-Haul trailer. Jaime and Luis were terrific! Very friendly and professional. They showed up early, ready to work! These guys were incredibly quick unloading and placing furniture where we wanted it. Our belongings and property were treated with care. A huge thanks to Beatrice, Jaime and Luis for making our move so easy and enjoyable! Thank you! read more

I adore JC Moving and every employee I've interacted with there over the years. They handled all of my local Los Angeles moves and I was lucky enough to work with Beatrice and Edgar every time. When you reach out you'll get a response from Beatrice or Jaime. They are very quick to respond and extremely friendly. Beatrice has also remembered me from my moves over the years and I have always appreciated that! I also discovered that Beatrice and Jaime are a husband and wife team who run the business! JC Moving has pretty flexible schedules and very competitive rates for the area. Beatrice will always reconfirm your move a day or two before and provide you with arrival time and the movers names. On the day of the movers always arrive a little early and are truly at your disposal. If you need more packed or unpacked than expected they'll gladly help. If you need to stop at goodwill they'll do it. I've also received tons of moving tips such as how to best pack your boxes and prepare for your movers so that they can do the job as quickly and safely for you as possible. They also provide fun conversation! Definitely a chatty group if you're open to it :) I've now moved out of LA and used JC Moving in August for this last move and felt the company deserved an A+ review. Thank you to Beatrice, Jaime, Edgar, David, Cesar and my others movers who have since moved on from the company over the years. You guys are amazing and made my move days as stress free as possible! read more

The crew at JC Moving did a fantastic job with our move. Our team was Jeff, Edgar, Cesar and Jamie and two trucks. They kept spirits high during what is a stressful day. We had a 3 bedroom, packed garage and yard full of furniture. And the price was very fair compared to other quotes we got. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Tony walked my place gave me an estimate and then showed up for 2 minutes and left. The guys destroyed our file cabinets 2 desks and who knows what I haven't found yet. Then ARGUED I DID IT. "IT WAS LIKE THAT". - we are an 88 years old company - everything they moved was an investment and important and they didn't destroy it - they didn't protect almost anything - except the things I requested be wrapped with my own moving blankets. I paid THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR THIS?!? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The boss is worthless. They take over an hour a lunch and charge you for it. I was understanding until when I said we have to be more careful they told me it was already like that. Look I get things can get damaged- but don't act like it wasn't you. IT COST ME SO MUCH AND I STILL HAVE TO FIX WHAT THEY BROKE. read more

I've relied upon JC Moving Company twice now, in 2 years. And I'll definitely use them again. I've referred them to 3 friends who also LOVED them. They do What they say they're gonna do, WHEN they say they're gonna do it which is so important during the stressful time of a major move. Reliability is key, and these guys do NOT disappoint Their pricing is fair. Not the cheapest in town, also not the most expensive. (I don't WANT the cheapest in town because you tend to "get what you pay for" in this life, lol They're FAST, but also extremely careful. They wrap and protect everything as if it's their own. Nothing was broken, chipped, or dinged. They took really good care. They're also KIND. And that goes a lonnnnng way, in my book. The world is full of A**H*les -- who needs more of THAT ? Lol. These guys are courteous, thoughtful and KIND. (In a genuine way - not that fake Customer Service Nice) I highly recommend them, and the owner Jaime as well. Honestly, you can't go wrong with JC Moving. They're awesome read more

Once again, JC Moving to the rescue. I reached out after hours, and their business voicemail said you could text, so I did. They got back to me immediately, gave me a fair price, as always, and confirmed my appointment date/time. I feel so secure knowing my elderly mother doesn't have to move her own boxes and that the trustworthy people at JC Moving are caring for my precious mother. My mom had called a different company, and they tried to take advantage of her by quoting her four times the price JC Moving quoted. Beware of scammers. This is my third time using JC Moving, and I am not done yet. I will definitely use them again. read more

This is the third time that I have used JC Moving to relocate me in the last couple of years. Within the last year they have also very successfully moved three of my neighbors. What an awesome crew, Ceasar, David and Edgar were such nice guys. The crew work efficiently and always had smiles on their faces, even then spiky thorns from our succulent plants were poking them on their faces. What was the most amazing thing was how they move our large sofa over the second floor balcony with such ease. Not a single scratch on the wall or sofa! Will use again if I'm moving and definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to move! Their price is reasonable. I've called 3 others local movers and JC Moving offered a fair and reasonable price. read more

This was our first time using JC moving, and wow were we impressed! I managed a job for my boss who wanted everything emptied from his basement located in the Hollywood Hills, which means the movers navigated narrow passages, steep and slick stairs with ease and no complaints. Ramon, Cesar and Edgar were true professionals. They were personable, kind and super helpful. We packed together as we went, and they were really patient with me as I had to make decisions on behalf of someone else since the items didn't belong to me. I would highly recommend using them, and we definitely will use them next time we are doing a clean out or move! The price and value were excellent, as we worked for 7 hours and needed to do an extra day to load the items into a storage unit. They also didn't blink with that pivot, and handled it extremely well. read more

My parents who moved this past week were straight robbed by the service provided by JC Moving. Please tell me how moving from a 2 bedroom apartment 10 minutes away to another 2 bedroom apartment takes 10 hrs to move and costs $1100? What kind of movers do you provide? Snails??? To the owner... you should be ashamed taking advantage of senior citizens during these times. Unbelievable! You should be giving some sort of refund do to your movers being so slow. read more

I've been meaning to write this for a while, but kept getting side tracked. JC Moving did an amazing job moving our piano to our new home, they did such a great job we had them back over the next day to unload and reload our POD in a more efficient way before our move. The staff was friendly and professional and handled all of our items with care. I highly recommend this team if you looking for pro support. read more

Needed help, sort of last minute, and they were more then willing to help and were available when I needed them. I got two guys and a truck for $125/hr plus 5% fuel charge which is a very good price. The guys were very friendly and efficient. We were completely done in 4 hrs. Nothing broken and they assembled everything before leaving. I hope I don't have to move for a long time, but when I do, I will definitely be using them in the future. read more

JC Moving - David and Cesar rocked my move! Thanks guys! - Movers Near Me - Glendora, California

Three heavy items lifted and carefully moved. Proactively caring for the wall in a U shape staircase. Well done.

In the past, I had moved my personal belongings on my own and for this past move from a storage unit to a new place I realized I needed to hire a moving company for the first time. I was recommended JC Moving from a Storage facility which had been amazing to me so I quickly called them up and dealt with Beatrice who was wonderful and was fair with pricing. On moving day the 3 man team showed up on time and assessed with me the moving details quickly and efficiently. I had mostly packed boxes and furniture. My furniture is mostly vintage mid century modern and the workers took great care in wrapping the fragile pieces in blankets for the move. Fully mirrored pieces of furniture were wrapped in blankets and cardboard which impressed me. I felt comfortable leaving the movers finish up the job while I headed off to my new place to get it ready for them to load in. They arrived and took several trips up a 30 foot staircase with ease. Appreciate them very much and would recommend to anyone! read more

I can go 0 star if it allows. We moved from an one bed room apartment. I called to get a quote. The estimate was for 3 - 4 hour only. It sounded reasonable to me. It turned out to be 7 hours! These guys literally held only 2 items per trip from the apartment to their truck. I had a wagon and offered them to haul the stuff. They didn't want to. Overcharged by the tapes they used as well. I bought some. They refused to use mine so that they could charge me for the additional $$. They requested a tip so frequently that it made me annoyed at the end. read more

We used JC moving when we had a disaster incident with White Glove movers (from Pottery Barn). When the men from white glove turned up they not only cost me a fortune but also could not complete the job at hand- telling me the job was impossible. Such a waste of time and money. Thats when JC moving stepped in; just two strong men with fantastic common sense and problem solved my situation within seconds. No fuss, no signing endless documents. Just got it done. I couldn't be happier with their willingness to take that extra time and care with my brand new sofa bed. Move over white glove- perhaps they are called that because they aren't willing to get their hands dirty? Will be recommending JC moving company to all my friends in the future. Thank you again Danny and Kenny! read more

I cannot tell you how unorganized the owner was. They were quick to schedule us & though all boxes were ready to go, it took them close to 6 hours and STILL WERE lagging behind. They weren't going to finish unloading their last load unless I paid them before they finished! Before I lost my cool, the owner said either PAY, or, ' we KEEP your stuff' I asked him 'why?' And he said because they were working overtime Since this wasn't my fault, I told him he.Couldn't hold my belongings hostage...he didn't like being told what to do and became even more non communicative! I wouldn't refer this guy to anyone!! He took PHOTOS of my things so I couldn't prove he broke anything! As if he were ready to have to refund me!! Also, they took all clothing boxes back so ALL CLOTHING HAD TO BE TAKEN OUT so he! could have them back!! Buyer beware and they overcharged!!!! read more

We called last minute to JC Moving and they scheduled us quickly. The guy over the phone gave us a flat hourly rate and showed up on time. Edgar and his team were there to handle business professionally. If it were not for them being pros we wouldn't have gotten things packed up that we were not prepared for at all. I say all that to say this, hire these guys! They're legit and very friendly. You will not be disappointed! Sincerely, Ramona and Joseph from Glendora read more

Used this company twice. First time not an issue. We just from one unit to another. Second time we moved to Corona. His movers got lost even though we gave the address. Took an 1 hour 1/2 for them to get to our place. Broke a few items still not a big deal. But what made me write this negative review is they charged us more than what we originally agreed on. J.C.'s reason was "I didn't know that my guys were supposed to bring the furniture in the house I thought it was in the garage only." Who brings furniture only in the garage and not inside the house? His guys got lost not our problem. Will not use them again. read more
