They raised their prices twice within 6 months to "compete with other companies" With a 89% increase in rent. Higher price for a urine smelling building with other tenants random junk sitting in the hallway for days. the only good thing about this place was their app. Opening the gate with Bluetooth straight from my phone is Pretty neat. First and foremost Art has no customer service whatsoever. Every interaction with him is poorly handled. My only complaint about the facility is the hours of operation. It is difficult to move my belongings in or out especially since I live and work in Los Angeles after selling my house in San Bernardino. I haven't used the facility for even a year and my rent is going up for the second time. This is ridiculous. Definitely not worth paying over $300. I now will be searching for a facility closer to my new home. read more

The thieves also used my personal documents to steal my identity. The storage facility did nothing to help me after the theft. I trusted Extra Space Storage to protect my stuff and they failed. Love the storage here easy access when I came I didn't even have to speak to anyone. I did everything over the phone. I was able to download the app and check in. I got my code and I got a free lock. They are open every day so I can go any day to get my things other storages need employees to come open the hallways so people can get into their storage. This location is great. This storage place is is horrible from the customer service manager at my storage place to the fact that they do rate increases out of nowhere claiming they sent you something in the mail no phone call no email no notification that they're going to rate increase you I pay my account online why not set up a notice saying hey your rate is going to increase they don't do any of that and they raise my rent astronomically. The customer service manager Crystal at my branch is very rude she speaks to you condescendingly if asked any questions or ask to explain certain things in detail do not rent from this place. read more

The girl w the pink hair is extremely rude to loyal paying customers. So much so I cleaned out my unit and just moved elsewhere, nobody gets to speak to me like that, even if I was in the wrong. Took my business elsewhere, kiss my 150 a month GOODBYE! They raised my rent 3 times in one year too. I never saw a no smoking sign anywhere the whole year when I rented there, and it was happening inside my own vehicle, and she just went off on us. The old saying is you give some people a little power and it goes right to their heads, def the case here, anywhere else will have a more customer friendly staff, do not rent here. read more

this place is a piece of shit !! i'm renting TWO units they say it closes at 10pm i'm literally on my way out by 10:04pm and 2 cops cars stop me my mom and my husband and tell us we're tras passing and we don't have permission to be there ..there is NOOOOO WAYYYY IN HEEELLLLLLLLLLLL the cops were called at 10pm and took them only 4 minutes to arrive not even for a murder does this happened which means they were called away before closing hours the cops treated us like criminals even after showing them our units they wanted to make an arrest so bad they even threaten to arrest me for not giving them my name and because i knew i wasn't Breaking any laws i had the right to me there and yet the only reason why it even took us the 4 minutes to leave my moms car wouldn't start so we couldn't leave even if we wanted 2 this was just pull shit and yet they kept us there for about 20 minutes i've seen the reviews if they can see us trying to get out at 10:04pm call the police before closing hours you mean to tell me they have nothing to do with all the break-ins i'm reading on here INSIDE JOB ALRIGHT!!!!!! read more

Horrible experience all around . When I went to pay my bill they told me I owed 2 months !!! Which was a shock to me . I asked to speak to Brian because everything I made a payment he would process it . The lady than began to tell my he was fired for stealing the ac and from storage units . I didn't want to argue with them so I paid the 200 . A few months later I go and clear my unit . And I have this girl come in her go cart and start giving me attitude saying I needed to pay 13 dollars because I was there for four days . I told her i had talk to another person in the office and I told her thank you . Than she mocks me and repeats Thank you and walks away mumbling . Than comes back and starts screaming who's truck is that ! You tailgated to come in and I explained it was my aunt truck and she was helping me clear the unit . She had such a bad attitude I finally told her to calm down and there was no need for her attitude ! I asked for her name and she got in my face like she wanted to fight ! I told her to back up . Ashley Trujillo was her name than she called me sweetie and honey and I told her not to address me in that manner because I was neither her sweetie or honey . I am very upset with extra space storage the took money from my husbands payee account without permission, I called and spoke with Ashley Trujillo and she said to come in on the 3rd of May ad she will wave the late fee and set my dates for the third of the month well on the 2 of May my husband went to the bank the account was overdrawn and it cost us a 39.00 fee I don't know how they got the credit card number and we never gave them permission to access it. I am very upset about this and I will be going in on Monday the 9th and get ths straighten out. I am very disappointed in this business. read more
