They arrived promptly and gave me a heads up call, even bringing coffee. Did I mention my virtual complete lack of packing? Not a problem. The crew started with the big things first and we went down the line from there. Like everyone else in Austin I do and have done video, graphic, and web production as a free lancer. The crew recognized the equipment and even offered options on how to transport 'my baby,' an old classic Microsoft Enterprise server. Oh. About the laundered and totally unpacked dry cleaning I my closet. No problem, they offer five free hanging wardrobe boxes for transport, even going so far as to rehang my clothes at my new place. A few comparable companies gave me quotes at 150.00 more to start. Of course my prized art collection hanging on walls throughout my apartment slipped my mind to. Yup, ten minutes later it was delicately removed and wrapped in blankets. Thanks guys.

I just wanted my dresser fixed. Nathan offered the refund after the multiple disasters that happened during and after the move. Although he's offered a refund plenty of times, when I accept the offer he told me he will only do it if I take down review, as I "don't deserve one" because the "Better Business Bureau is breathing down his neck". The repair guy also never told me my dresser needed multiple parts--he kept canceling appointments to repair which I can only assume that he never intended on fixing it. My dresser is still broken and the owner is yet to give a response to the Better Business Bureau

They gave me all the details on the services they provide along with the best price for their services. What I liked the most was that they had no hidden fees. Once they arrived, the workers brought all the necessary tools to make me feel at peace. For example, they covered my tables and desks with blankets so the corners wouldn't get scratched and secured my fragile/valuables in bins so it wouldn't collide with my furniture. They kept their promise with the estimated date/time of arrival and moved all my furniture into my place safe! I been with some companies that would accidentally cause damages on the walls or paint but these guys are experts! Would definitely use them again when I move and recommend them to everyone else.

My boyfriend and I had an absolute nightmare of a time after our old car was towed straight out of our driveway. We were told no vehicles with expired tags could stay (even though I own this home...HOA). We needed to find both a storage place to park our car AND a tow truck to take it from the towed lot to the facility... We originally called a closer place, which weren't able to accommodate us. They recommended that we call Private Warehouse - lucky for us!!!!!! Not only did we get a fabulous rate, but the owners went out of their way to set up a VERY reasonably priced tow truck to take us. And if this wasn't enough, they found space in their already full lot AND stayed 2 hours past closing time to make sure we were accommodated that day. It's very rare these days that you meet people as kind, genuine and hardworking as Abby and Clay. We were lucky to have found them and would HIGHLY recommend them. Give them a call!

I went by Private Warehouse to check their rates for short time vehicle storage and the lady in the office said that it would be good to store it there because they would pro rate discount the charges to match whatever percentage of the month that I actually stored the pickup there. I stored my pickup there for 4 days and moved it to my mechanics shop. I moved it on the last day of the month so you would expect that the charges would have stopped then ... especially since I had payed a pro rated charge in advance for those 4 days of $11.00 . When I saw on my Wells Fargo account web page that a debit was pending for a another full month of storage I called their office and talked to another lady about it. She said the first lady misrepresented their policies and that they were within their rights to charge me for a month of storage even though I took my pickup out of their facility on the last day of the month . She said Im sorry and hung up. I just looked at my Wells Fargo account web page again and so far they have charged me 65 dollars for October in addition to the 11 dollars pro rated charge that I payed in advance for the last 4 or 5 days of September. Perhaps Private Warehouse needs money even worse than me and my family and that is how they justify charging me 76 dollars for storing my pickup there for 4 days ? You be the judge ... Would I have stored my truck there if I had been told it would cost me 19 dollars a day ? I do not think so. Do I recommend doing business with Private Warehouse ? I reckon I do not .

My friend booked with them two months ago because she got a job in Texas and was asked to start immediately. (She's from Los Angeles). She basically had to pack her entire studio apartment on a Tuesday and be completely moved in by Sunday. She asked me for help and I told her it was going to be nearly impossible to get it all done since she couldn't find a mover to help her get all her things to a completely different state, but she found Cross Country. When the movers got to her apartment they realized she had A LOT of stuff. They helped us pack and load the smaller things into boxes to fit into her uhaul, and then they said they could deliver the furniture to her place so she wouldn't need to get another uhaul to drive over. The movers were super nice and were actually careful with her things when they were loading it into the truck. I wish I got their names so I could refer them in this review! (I've seen other movers toss boxes back and forth like they're not fragile before) I didn't meet my friend in Texas to help her unpack but she told me all of her furniture got there on Sunday morning and nothing was damaged so thank you to the guys that helped her pack her things! We both had a pleasant experience with this place, I'd definitely recommend this place if you need to move from state to state.

Have to say they did an amazing job. Not only were they super professional but also super nice and helpful. They showed up on time even a little early. They gave a call 30' before arriving. My sister and I already packed everything in boxes but we were still a bit anxious since we had bad moving experience before (movers broke our stuff). Cross Country movers literally wrapped everything as tight and good as butterfly cocoons lol super carefully and made the move very easy and effortless for us. Rate was reasonable for someone who lived upstairs like my sister. We're very happy we chose Cross Country Movers. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

I returned the truck in the exact same condition I received it and yet I am being charged an extra $25 cleaning fee. When I called to speak to Kitty regarding this charge, she is stating she had to sweep out the back of the truck. I again explained there was nothing left in the truck so this is a false charge. You don't lock the back of the truck when you leave it, the lock and keys go into their mailbox, so anyone could have placed trash in the back after I left. This is totally a ridiculous charge and a bold face lie . I would not recommend renting from this uhaul !
