I rented a small uhaul from Kitty at Red Poppy Uhaul for a couple of hours. I had 20 plastic totes, a bike and. A wheel chair. I returned the truck in the exact same condition I received it and yet I am being charged an extra $25 cleaning fee. When I called to speak to Kitty regarding this charge, she is stating she had to sweep out the back of the truck. I again explained there was nothing left in the truck so this is a false charge. You don't lock the back of the truck when you leave it, the lock and keys go into their mailbox, so anyone could have placed trash in the back after I left. This is totally a ridiculous charge and a bold face lie . I would not recommend renting from this uhaul ! read more

PLEASE don't even consider going with another U-Haul provider in the Georgetown area. I've dealt with most of them and Kitty will treat you far better than any of the others and help get your move started on a good foot. She was kind enough to allow me to pick up the truck way after business hours and even gave me an extra day. I think she could sense the stress in my voice lol. The truck was ready to go and she also helped me with figuring out where would be the best place to drop it off. I can not overstate the high level of customer service that I received here. Again, do yourself a favor and use Red Poppy for your U-Haul needs and I would go as far as to suggest the self storage as well though I do not have personal experience with that aspect. nobody likes to move, so getting started with finding a rental truck helps set the tone. kitty was ever so pleasant and easy to deal with. when asked about renting a smaller truck, she was experienced enough to recommend the next size larger which proved the perfect size for me. the fact that this location is open on sundays is a bonus. (which would explain the number of people there to rent trucks) red poppy is just east of the toll road, but that is where your move will get off on the right foot. read more
