He answered the call and told me I'd have to call corporate in another state for a refund. The number he gave me was a telemarketing number. I called him back and he starts to screen my calls and wont answer. I've left him messages and showed up at the storage and it's closed. I've even called from my job and once he hears my voice he hangs up and wont answer again. I tried searching for a corporate office and I'm coming up with a blank. Don't rent from them, they are scams!

Normally I'm not appalled enough to write a review, but this company needs to be shut down and closed if that the way they do business. First spend at least 45min. in the office trying to handle the paperwork with a distressed representative. Afterwards I was explicitly told to ensure to cancel the unit certain days ahead. When time came to cancel the unit I called as advised and was told to just drop by the day off. When I cleaned out one unit and went to the office to cancel, the same distressed employee (no handling another customer at the same time) had me sign a paper and told me I was done, no further action required. When it came time to pay for the unit, I logged online to pay and noticed that the wrong unit was cancelled. I called and was told: "Oh yea, good thing you called, because we were going to break the lock tomorrow and get the stuff out." When I then raised my concern with this process, I was told the representative would call me back to let me know how to proceed. That I might get a month free. Once the gentlemen called back, I was asked to come in and pay the full price as they had to issue another lease. At the end of the day, I was so frustrated with the whole thing, I paid and just hung up. No apologies were extended to this day. Unbelievable. I told him my name and that I will be there asap and apologized for being so late, which was 10 minutes away. He immediately told me in an extremely condescending raised voice that I should have called and I would have been there earlier. Both me and my mover was shocked. I had him hang up as I was driving. I did not drive all the way there to have to interact with a sassy staff.I do not feel safe leaving my belongings to a place that shows hostility to me over the phone. And a $110.00 lien fee will be added. That would bring your amount to $ 375.78. Please don't make it to 35 days. I can make a note into your account stating that you will be making a payment on 06/21/2019. But, the balance of $375.78 must be made in full. Please note we no longer accept partial payments. All payments must be made in full. Well.. I believe a little room for flexibility would have helped my situation as I have every intention of paying this debt and maybe even use the unit until the divorce is settled. Now, Cubesmart's management's lack of empathy made me want to end business with them and write as many reviews as possible for the gross display coldness towards someone who is having a hardship. My storage unit was inaccurately auctioned off June 13th, when I was being rushed in from medical emergency, I am 62 years old with a condition. When I arrived the staff member and buyer agreed to sell it back to me that week for $1000., I agreed, this was my life's work and all possessions from childhood including birth certificates and social security that is now being fraudulently used by those buyers! They have assumed my information and living off of it! Two full rooms of furniture have been robbed from me. The staff is crooked should be removed. Don't ever believe that first month free pitch its fake and they will screw you in the end. My bank checks they are being used, and I am now suing for extensive damages. I have childhood memorabilia, that can't be replaced. My medical equipment for pain was included and I must have it. The staff is a revolving door of crooks no one goes the distance. There is illegal activity going on there after hours. Mohammed doesn't care about anyone down there. They are definitely under investigation and should be shut down closed permanently. I regret ever going there initially however I have multiple authorities auditing this business, I need justice for my possessions that have be marketed wrongfully.
