I gave them a credit card to reserve my time slot and they charged the card the full amount of the service despite me paying cash on the day of the move. I called them to rectify the issue and they promised me a call back that I never received. Thankfully my bank accepted my fraud inquiry and reimbursed me. I would not recommend using them. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I used Relo for a move 2 weeks ago. The movers literally knocked off part of the ceiling in my old apartment and said nothing. I've called 5 times and have emailed twice and NO ONE from Relo will get back to me. They also scratched the walls of my new apartment. I was promised a seamless move where the movers would even place the furniture where I wanted it and instead they left me boxed in. Also, they lie about the upfront cost of the move. I was quoted $900 and charged $1028. No this was not the tip bc I still paid that in cash. By the way!! This was $900 to move 6 pieces of furniture and 4 boxes, 1 mile!!! An absolute rip off and I had to spend an entire week moving the rest of my stuff alone. This once again seems like a company of men trying to take advantage of single women. It's gotten to the point where I'm resorting to reporting them as fraud to my bank bc they will not get back to me about damages, which they said they would cover if they happened, or the over charge. read more

Did the worst company I ever hired in my life . Gave me a price , then charged an extra $552 after the stuff was in route . Several things were broken and they didn't even move my stuff they brokered it out to another moving company . I also had my car transported and there were several scratches which they insisted were already there prior to the move. They took pictures of the car prior and I took pictures when the car was delivered . When I sent the pictures to them they in turn send pictures back to me saying that the scratches were already there but they were the same pictures I sent them after delivery . They also wouldn't take anything off the truck until I paid an additional $552 . When I compared my contract with the movers who delivered my furniture there were several discrepancies . My contract had the correct sizes and amounts of the things I was moving and the movers which were Blackstone Movers had the same things listed but different sizes and different amounts and cubic feet . I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy !! I gave one star because this wouldn't allow me to post unless I gave at least one star. My opinion they deserve minus 10 Stars read more

Another update, don't know what happened but the refund was undone for some reason. Still trying to get this resolved. Update, managed to get someone on the phone. His name was Richard. I explained to him the situation and issued the refund right away. I am still disappointed with Dimitri however for not providing the right customer service. They gave us the option either pay by Zelle or using credit card. We agreed to send money through Zelle (they charge an extra 4% for CC, red flag) but the day of the move they charged the Cc as well. We have been fraudulently double charged. A request was sent to their representative to refund the money (Dimitri) who said it will take 7 business days to refund the money. It has been a month with no refund. Since then they have been ignoring my phone calls and emails. I filed a claim with the Cc company and waiting for response. It is a 4,000 charge. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. read more

Just finished a move with Relo Moving & Storage. Richard in the sales team were helpful and responsive during planning, and was VERY accommodating to my ever-changing move dates! Lasha and his team did the move and had done a fantastic job! The team on-time, showed up at the exact agreed time. They worked fast, efficient, and with care. The furnitures, fixtures and lights etc, were well wrapped and protected. I have a glass top extendable dinning table. The extension piece folds underneath but is not 'hard secured' (i.e, will make contact with the top glass during travel). Lasha took the time carefully secured the whole table top, it stuffed and wrapped like a mummy! The team also clean up after themselves. I can not find a piece of trash or moving/packing material in my apartment unit and in the building hallway. It was like they were never there! I highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a mover. read more

HORRIBLE. Would give zero or negative stars if I could. Booked them for a cross state move. My point of contact, Brandon was terrible. It would take multiple emails from to get any response from him and he would never take calls. Fine, irritating but manageable... Based on my move contract, my items were guaranteed to arrive within my new state with a certain time frame. As the date got closer I kept checking in and it was confirmed and promised it would arrive within that time frame. And alas, it did not and no one even bothered to contact me to let me know. I had to be the one to keep calling to find out as final date got closer and then passed. This broken contract meant that my husband would be traveling during this time - which left me alone, very pregnant, also tending to a toddler to receive the movers (oh may I add this occurred mid global pandemic?) Calm but upset, I called and asked to speak to a manager - Thomas seemed nice enough and seemed to care - he himself said how angry he would be if that he had happened to his wife - he promised me he would have the owner, Ari, call me the next day. No call. I called back multiple times, left a message for Thomas. Also called Ari. No call back. Tried again, was promised a call back from Thomas. No one. I wanted to give them a chance to at least apologize and make this right before writing a review. But this company clearly doesn't care about their customers. As long as they get your money, they can care less what happens after. I should also add, my stuff arrived from storage smelling like cigarette smoke and with multiple broken items. The guys showed up with boxes tape Balnket etc. (that was included in my price) the packed and labeled every single box. All fragile items were individually packed and then put into boxes. When we arrived at the new location they assembled all the furniture, placed the boxes in the designated rooms. They made sure everything was set before they left. Very professional crew. This is the worst move I have ever had in NYC and I have moved plenty of times. PLEASE PLEASE avoid this service at all cost. The salesperson / representative Gary promised: blanket wrap, expertise in disassembling furniture and provided a quote of 3 hours with 3 movers for a one bedroom. It turned out only 2 people showed up while I was quoted for 3 and they had no idea that they needed to disassemble and reassemble anything. While I was trying to clarify things with customer service, I learned that it was 2 people in the contract, while the quote email was for 3 people. They will change things in the contract without informing you, THE WAY THEY DO BUSINESS IS REALLY SHADY and QUESTIONABLE. Ended up paying for 2 EXTRA HOURS (i.e. $360) on moving a one-bedroom apartment in NYC (postal code literally moved by 1, WITHIN 3 MILES!!) and THE MOVERS DID NOT EVEN REASSEMBLE ANYTHING. (I also did not have an option. Could not reach out to customer service and movers withheld my belongings unless I agreed on extra charges.) One wooden chair and other furniture were scratched on the surface and most furniture was not wrapped at all. The most stressful day in my life. Relo claims to take the stress out of moving and asks you to trust them with your long distance move. In reality however, my move to the West Coast with Relo has been more stressful and frustrating than ANY prior move. It is now 21 days since my belongings were "released from storage" and Relo cannot provide me with any estimate of when I will receive my things. Meanwhile, Relo demanded that I pay them $4,000 immediately to release my belongings, which I did. In total, I have paid Relo more than $6500 for an uncomplicated move and I do not even have my belongings and no estimate of when -- or if -- I will ever receive them. Customer service at Relo is nonexistent. It took over 4 hours and a second follow up phone call just to learn that Relo has no idea when I can expect my belongings. AVOID using this company! Worst moving experience EVER!!! I have moved several (at least 10) times throughout my life and this has been the BIGGEST nightmare I have experienced. Terrible communication skills between the management and crew, crew showed up at incorrect time, Relo did not pull the proper permits so one of the movers had to stay in the truck to avoid a parking violation, and made my move even longer than necessary....which.... once everything was packed and cleared out of my first home they arrived too late (my building's service elevator is only available between 9 and 4) so all my possessions had to be "stored" for the weekend, in which they charged me an additional $500. I had to wait until Monday to have the movers move my items into my new apartment. Then when it was time for the crew to assemble my French Art Deco armoire which requires to follow the instructions implicitly (which I had translated into English and with illustrations) ,but the foreman was too "cocky" to use them and said "I do this all the time" I do not need that...well....2 hours later he and his men (incredibly frustrated) finally "put my armoire together" INCORRECTLY!!!! I have waited over 3 weeks to have them schedule someone to come over and unassemble and reassemble my armoire. (Relo told me it would cost $150 for the job, which I contested and was finally told me they would cover the cost for the reassembly). After waiting 4 hours for assembly men, they "NO-SHOWED" I kept calling the manager "Richard Munzo" where they were and he kept giving me the run around saying "one of the guy's lost his phone", the second time "there must have been a "miscommunication" with the time" (just like the original move) then the third time "there is an issue with traffic". If the workers ever did show, it was after the hours that my building allows for contractors. (I say this because I finally left my home 1.5 hours after they were supposed to have arrived by) Save yourself the waste of time, the headaches and the run around and AVOID using the company at all costs. read more
