She was always cleaning, inspecting the property or interacting with the customers. She always waved to me, and seemed to be 'paying attention' to what was going on. She was the absolute best. I always felt like my things were being taken care of. I noticed a change in how the property was kept up after she moved to a different location. It wasn't always a positive. But, as of this writing, it seems to be rebounding a bit. And, I had the most wonderful experience with one of the employees, Latasha, as I was getting ready to end my lease there. This is NOT when you are expecting to be wowed. Latasha seemed to genuinely care that I was ending my contract with Public Storage. She even encouraged me to check out a smaller, less expensive unit. She even left the office to help me test fit my trailer in the smaller unit. She wanted to make sure that it would work for me. She was very nice and did not pressure me. She offered to hold the unit for 48 hours so that I could take my time in making a decision. Even though I decided to go with another storage company, she was still very nice and helpful upon my leaving. She went with me to the walk-through of my old unit and provided me with everything I needed for a smooth exit. Because of Latasha, I will check out Public Storage first, should I ever decide to shop around for a different storage company than the one I am using now. Thank you Latasha.

They almost tripled the price for less than a year. The customer service shows an absolute indiffrenece in cooperating and shows just rules instead of answering. Terrible. Very dissapointed.

Got a debt collection letter in the mail a year after I moved out of this place. I settled all…read moreaccounts and moved my stuff out without any dispute on payments at the time. Never heard a word from them on any money issues. These guys won't even let you store your stuff if you don't pay beforehand. If you are a day late, they double lock it until you pay. They have a month to month plan so it is actually not possible to owe them money unless they are holding your belongings hostage. They will eventually sell off your belongings to get their money back. Obviously I got all my belongs and walked out the door with a cordial goodbye from their staff at the time. So it bewilders me how they possibly have an overdue account that they issued to collections from me. EDIT: I contacted them at their info email address and they said they have a new debt collection company and that this was a mistake. I had a good experience with this company in terms of customer service other than this flub. I don't expect to get any more letters about this issue so it should be resolved.

The bad thing of it is there's a camera right there and for some reason they say their cameras glitched out at the time that my stuff was stolen . After that they went up on my rent and then I went to pay my bill on the day of the due date which is the first and they charged me a late fee because it was after 5:00 when I did it over the phone . Upon arriving at 1916 Elston we met Tiffany the customer service rep. And she was the nicest and understandable person that I've have met in a kind while . She explained all the steps we needed to get a new key including a new lock if needed . She was very courteous and again very helpful . I highly recommend Public storage . And thank you Tiffany for making our day . We were able to get a new lock and key with in a few days .

They and their main and regional offices all responded extremely quickly to my complaint and wanted to make it right. That's very much appreciated. I think a great solution would be to not bury the fine print so far from the pricing but put a short notice below the pricing for each unit - simply that price is subject to change at anytime with 15 days notice. I certainly would've paused and considered other options. Original one star review: Bait and switch pricing. Increased my rent 65% after less than 3 months with only 20 days notice. You have to scroll down 6 pages to find the fine print that says they can change pricing at any time with 15 days notice. This is a summer storage unit for my daughter's dorm and we're not local so it wouldn't make sense for us to fly out and move to another facility. Will never do business with them again. Utterly ridiculous and shady business practice.

Moving and packing supplies are available for purchase. The floors are remarkably clean (!!!), there is no humidity in the halls (during the Spring/Summer. I had one of the Granatas come in and estimate the total cost, and he was so close to the actual cost and even saved me money! Not only that, the staff came on time and marked everything. They even brought my bicycle and vacuum cleaner. The crew was polite and well-mannered, and even were nonplussed when the elevator was broken in Dunedin. I am beyond impressed . The crew put everything where I asked them to, and every one of my items was intact and in good shape. I am so happy with the Allied/ Reebie move to FL, and am so glad I chose Allied/ Reebie.
