And when I tried to call the Chicago number, I was on a perpetual hold and never spoke to an actual person. The only way I was able to get ahold of anyone was to submit a request for another quote on their website. I then received a call within seconds. Even then, it was a general office and they couldn't process the cancellation or get ahold of someone from the Chicago branch. It took 3 more phone calls before I could finally get on the phone with someone who could process my request because someone was kind enough to give me the national office number and within 5 minutes, I was able to cancel my move. (Shoutout to Chris and the number for the national office is 469-461-5000) I can't imagine what it would have been like if I actually needed to go through the steps of moving when their customer service was this bad and they are so hard to reach. I gave a detailed inventory to two different employees. I stressed the amount of furniture and put all books, CDs and other non fragile items in boxes BEFORE the move day. Their estimator quoted, as per their website, 4 men, 1 truck, less than 7 hours total. It took 2 days, 3 truck loads and on first day they asked if we could pack more stuff ourselves to help! What happened to full pack? On the second day, no one seemed interested and TWICE I was told that house was empty. On checking I found multiple items lying around, mirr still on walls and every time I unpack another box I find something broken. The last few boxes just had stuff inside loose with no attempt to pack or protect.

The process took around 10-11 hours, and this was the estimated time they gave me. I appreciate this part as I wasn't flexible with my time, and it had to be a quick move out process. When I first talked to them for a quote, they made it very easy as they walk you through the whole moving process. The person giving the quote makes you go room by room and list all the furniture that you are planning on moving to your new place. They then explain what's included in the price and email you a copy for your records. A $50 deposit is required to lock in your date and is credited towards your total at the end. Adil and his team works super fast and waste no time at all. They are very knowledgeable and work great together as a team. They finished our move 2 hours earlier than what was quoted! Amazing! All our furniture and belongings were packed wonderfully in their truck and all made it to our new place in their respective rooms without any issues.
