And I paid them $550, and what happened only three weeks later? I had to call another company that I could trust to do the job right, and for significantly less money. Here is a picture of what they pulled out of the line, THREE weeks after I paid Dr Drain $550 to do the same thing! So I had to pay another company to do what Dr Drain did not do. One of the pipes was cut and needed to be hooked up to the toilet. We had a quote previously from another company (ABC Plumbing) for $2000-3000, saying they needed to tear down the drywall to get to the pipe(that alone being $500), then replace all the pipes, etc. Emergency plumbing was able to fix the issue for a tenth of the price and did not need to tear anything down. The ChemDry process has always kept my carpets looking great all those years. Unfortunately, I am writing this review 31 hrs, after Eric cleaned my carpets and they are still not completely dry. ChemDry's website and Nova Clean's website both state "quick dry", "dries quickly within hours" and "your carpets will dry in just a few hours, I know it is not good for the carpet pad to be exposed to this much moisture. When I called Eric he said he could offer no explanation for their wetness, "give it a few more hours"(after 19 hrs). I said I had no choice but to give it more time. I check the carpets again after 26 hrs. And it was still wet in several places. It is now 31 hrs. And the carpets are almost dry but not 100%. I asked Eric if he maybe put too much water or solution in the machine and his reply was "no one has ever complained before". THIS IS NOT THE WAY CHEM DRY'S CARPET CLEANING HAS WORKED IN THE PAST. In all my 30 years of using Chem Dry, My carpets have never taken more than a few hours to dry. Hopefully my pad doesn't develop mold under the carpet from all the moisture. Something is not right and there is no explanation for how my carpets are so wet. By reason of deduction, there was an error made in application or solution. I cannot take a chance using Eric or recommend him to others which is very unfortunate for both of us.
