There is a reason why Danny Deconstruction has a perfect 5 star rating. My Mom was in rehab after a fall. In preparation for her discharge, I go through her house only to sadly see her hoarding status of the oddest things! Needless to say, I NEEDED HELP. Danny was the first company I reached out to Friday 04/03/26. He replied SO quickly. He came out WITHIN THE HOUR to my house to give me a quote. His crew came out THE NEXT DAY 15 MIN EARLY OF STATED TIMThey are here right now. I know I'll need his services in the future and I'll DEFINITELY refer him to friends and family. Wish I could rate him TEN STARS. read more

I had a very last minute request for a couch to be taken out of my apartment and another one to be moved in because my parents decided to drive in today with the couch in tow. Not only were they able to accommodate me but they did so quickly and at a very reasonable cost. They were very kind, professional, and they got the job done in a very reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend them for the variety of jobs they are equipped to handle with ease and professionalism. read more

We had a lot of uncertainty as to when we could lean on Danny to help us remove construction debris. My HOA is very persnickety and we finally got a last minute window to dispose of everything and Danny was able to accommodate a pickup right away. Even before that, he was very responsive and answered all of my questions. Patient, professional, and followed through for us. Thank you! read more

Called Danny and he answered right away. He was out about 90 minutes later with a very reasonable quote for garage junk removal. He said he would have a truck out between 2-4 in the afternoon. Everything was spot on with service, price, and communication. Highly recommend Danny Deconstruction and will be calling them again. read more

Great value - good communication and follow thru. Easy estimates, and flexible scheduling really helped

Called Danny in the morning to get some demo trash out of my yard. He said he would come by in the afternoon. Didn't hear from him until 630pm which is why I gave 4 stars. He did assure me that he will be there the next morning and was punctual and took all the trash for the agreed upon price. They do accept zelle so that was a huge convenience. I'll recommend this business to anyone. I don't want to give 4 stars but I also like to keep my reviews honest. Which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Either way, call Danny if you just redid your bathroom or kitchen or whatever and have to get rid of the demo! read more

Danny Deconstruction - Took all this for a great price - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

Danny Deconstruction came through for me in a pinch. I had a construction site full of sheet rock debris that I needed cleaned out asap and Danny's showed up on short notice and did a great job cleaning the site up. They took the time to broom sweep the site after the debris was removed and locked up when they left. The price was fair and the service was great. Thanks Danny! read more

Guys are punctual, provide no issues service. I used them multiple times, and would recommend to others.

We used this company to help us get rid of a lot of unused stored junk in our house and we have nothing but good things to say. Communication was easy and quick and we got clear answers to our questions. We took a week or two to go through our house and accumulated all of it in our garage and the morning the truck came is probably took me and husband 15-30 minutes to throw everything in the truck. We are actually planning to use them again in this spring because the whole process was uncomplicated, reasonably priced and showed up for our appointment right on time. read more

The guys really worked hard cleaning out our old and cluttered basement for our store and apartment. When we moved in 30 years ago, there was already a bunch of old stuff down there, and then we add 30 years of our own stuff... and like magic, they cleared the place and swept it clean! It was even harder work then you might imagine with a low ceiling and lots of pipes and obstacles and our alley is only 9' wide making it hard to get the truck to the gate. But even with all those challenges, I must say, these guys pulled it off fantastically. Thanks guys! read more

Recently hired Danny and his team for a demolition of a backyard concrete patio, walkway, and grass area. Danny was super responsive and prompt throughout the process. He followed up the same day I requested the quote, came out to measure within 2 days, and was ready to start as soon as we wanted. We settled on a fair price, the project came and went without a hitch and with great communication throughout. This was clearly a hard working team that values customer needs and won't waste your time. Some companies will gather details via phone/email/yelp msgs and not come out, others will come out and never follow through with a quote. In any case, Danny's team is reliable and can be trusted to address customer needs on demand. read more

I needed to get a desk I was no longer using out of my home. I submitted a project request in yelp for estimates at 12:30pm. Danny Deconstruction responded quickly, offered a fair price for its removal, and the desk was out of my condo less than 1 hour later. No walls were dinged on the way out too. I could not be happier with the job they completed. read more

I embarked on a spontaneous dig out of the dead grass and weeds in my backyard after finding that Home Depot sells sod by the roll. I was happily dumping my extra dirt into my city of Chicago trash cans in my alley when after filling 1 and a half cans I realized... oh no these are WAY WAY WAY too heavy for any human on the trash team to lift and we will make enemies of our trash guys and these will sit here rendering our trash cans unusable for... weeks? Years? Time to throw money at the problem. Sent out a request on Yelp for dirt removal and Danny got back to me immediately (on Memorial day no less!). Spoke briefly on the phone and he had 2 guys with their big red truck in my alley the next morning. Two wonderful humans shoveled the dirt OUT of my trash cans into their truck, and even swept up the dirt in the alley. All done within 30 minutes. Accepted payment via Zelle / Quickpay. Lifesavers. My relationship with my trash guys will live to see another day. Thanks Danny and team! read more

High bid on a job, but they could go fast so I hired them. For the bid $4750 on a 1000sqft gut I expected the crew, and we agreed in our written scope of work, to get every nail and seal areas where debris should not fall. What went well: - They showed up - They removed the bulk debris as agreed. What did not go well: - Failed to close ducts, even after I flagged it. The intake plenum to my furnace was full of debris. - Nails were left in many places. I had to spend 2 hours removing them after payment. - One of the crew smoked in my house! I had to ask him to go outside. - No ownership of the crew. At the end of the job the owner told me to run his crew to complete the job. It was 7PM and they should have just come for walk down the next day. If I was going to run his crew what am I paying him for? - Pushy about payment and no final walkdown with the company owner. Danny is nice on the phone, but the clear handling of the scope is a problem. If you work with them be ready to tightly manage and push the scope, it is not a turnkey effort. read more

We had a leaky foundation wall that was in desperate need of being replaced. Unfortunately, the left over Cement and rubble was left in the yard. Danny was excellent to work with, thorough and respectful in the work and fairly priced. The team worked extremely hard removing soil from an excavation in the front yard (the excavators had left it right on the grass and Danny's team removed it with minimal damage to the lawn) and a huge amount of concrete from a removed sidewalk in the back. I used to work construction and landscaping so I knew what price to expect and Danny did it for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them! read more

I hired Danny to remove the lovely ice/snow mixture from the back-to-back snow storm bestowed upon Chicago that the lovely City of Chicago plows packed on my car. Danny instantly responded and had immediate availability to rescue me. I appreciated 1. the professional and vast response. 2. the overall removal took 15-mins which would have taken me hours if I could even handle it. 3. While I felt the price was a lot for me it was an impressive job well done. You get what you pay for and I now can use my car. Thanks Danny! read more
