Without a doubt, Landmark Demolition is the go-to company for anything that needs tearing down. Frank and his team have the experience, equipment, and professionalism to handle jobs of any size. I hired them to remove a detached 18 x 18-foot cedar sunroom that was mounted on five beams and anchored to 14 concrete posts buried four feet deep. It was a serious project, but they handled it with confidence and care. They hauled away over 6,000 pounds of material with minimal impact to the surrounding yard--just as I'd requested. Frank was patient during the permitting process, communicated clearly throughout, and treated my property as if it were his own. His attention to detail was outstanding. If you're looking for a demolition crew that delivers quality, reliability, and respect for your space, I highly recommend Landmark Demolition. read more

Florim was great to work with on my project to remove an old asphalt basketball court from the backyard of my home. He removed the asphalt and gravel underneath it, then filled it in with dirt and grass seed. He was very communicative throughout the project, did fantastic work, and followed up afterwards to check on the new grass they planted. He also gave me the best price of any of the 5+ contractors that provided estimates. I highly recommend Landmark Demolition! read more

STEER clear of Landmark with any projects. He 100% does not stay until the customer is satisfied. He walked off of my project with zero communication after receiving most of the money and left my house 1/2 way demo'd. Had to find another demolition crew. Big stress. Stay away! I remember you very well Florim. Would never forget a name like that or what you did to us. Glad it didn't affect you and you're able to sleep at night. That speaks volumes! read more

Florim and his team were a pleasure to work with for my complete home demolition project. They handled everything from submission for demolition permit, actual demo of structure & driveway, and backfill/grading of area to include black dirt topping since project was to convert property back to greenspace. This has to be one of the best experiences I've ever had hiring service on Yelp! Florim was super responsive, showed up on time, and offered a fair price. Initially, I had issues with obtaining the permit, and Florim went with me to the village, walked me through everything, and we got the permit, pretty quickly. He is very knowledgeable and his staff is great! I would recommend him a million times over. Thank you Landmark Demolition! read more

Absolutely outstanding! Quick, thorough, careful demo of an old shed. So quiet we barely knew they were here. Cleaned up all the leftover scraps and left the yard in good shape. Fair pricing, nice people to work with. Highly recommend this business. read more

This has to be one of the best experiences I've ever had hiring a service on Yelp! My husband and I have been trying to remove a rather large deck from our backyard on our own, but we got to the "frame" part that was more difficult to disassemble: the portion that attaches to the house, and also the concrete footers that extend deep into the ground. At this point we decided to call in a pro. I was immediately impressed by Florim's quick and courteous response. He seemed genuinely invested in helping us with our project and immediately came up with an effective plan of attack at a price that was reasonable. Moreover, he was easily accessible by phone whenever we needed to provide updates or otherwise communicate. Florim and his colleague came to our home just a couple of days after we confirmed the service and in no time at all the remaining portion of the deck was gone. They went above and beyond to accommodate our busy schedule (we had to leave by a certain time that day), and were also fastidious about removing all of the debris once they were done, which we greatly appreciate. Most of all we appreciate how thoughtful and attentive Florim was to our needs and concerns, and overall he was just a great personality to work with. We're feeling very lucky that we were able to connect with him through Yelp and that our gigantic, unwanted deck is finally gone! read more

Florim was wonderful to work with, from beginning to end. He was very communicative and timely throughout the process. It was an odd job: we asked him to carefully remove four 100-year-old wooden pillars that enclosed our living room. He preserved the ornamental tops for us and made quick work of removing the rest. While my spouse and I went back and forth on which pillars to remove, Florim was extremely patient --- we never once felt rushed to make a decision. He did a fantastic job, and now our living room is much more spacious. We highly recommend Florim for any and all of your interior removal needs! read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LANDMARK DEMO. Florim and his company did a perfect job demoing my master bath. They put protection throughout my house on the floors and stairs. They put sealing plastic barriers in the doorways and I even asked them to put plastic across a downstairs room so it would keep dirt down in their. THE DEMO WENT PERFECTLY! He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I was amazed at his knowledge and willingness to do more to please me. We had a large soffit over a shower and it had very heavy wood beams. I was questioning whether to remove it and he said he thought it would look nicer if we did and created much more work for him. He was absolutely right. He capped plumbing fixtures and was very careful. They cleaned all walking areas and the site everyday. He is awesome! read more

Great experience with Landmark. Florim was super responsive, showed up on time, and offered a fair price. No mess, no hassle. As a homeowner, I've always worked with a GC with these kind of jobs, and was a bit hesitant to manage this one myself, but Landmark were pros! Very happy the demo is done! read more

Florim and crew removed and hauled away 8" aluminum siding, insulation, vapor barrier, furring strips & nails, window wrappings, soffit, and fascia from the entire 1.5 story house in Evanston. They did a great job on a relatively tight timetable from my side. (Fortunately, the stucco underneath was in pretty good condition, so we'll repair it rather than install new siding.) Quality work, good clean-up, solid communication, and I appreciated the progress pics along the way. When they ran into unexpected challenges / delays along the way, Florim communicated clearly and continued to push to achieve my timeline...which he did. I know who to call for my future demo needs! read more

Florim and his employee did a great job with removing old flooring from my kitchen. There was multiple layers that would've taken me days to remove; however, they were able to remove everything in 3 hours. They cleaned everything up and disposed of the old flooring. I needed to clear a lot. Florim and crew showed up as agreed, worked hard over several days demolishing and filling many (6 or 7?) 30 yd dumpsters with garage and shed structures and yard junk (bikes, garbage, wood, car parts, etc.) He did what he said he would do, and charged what he said he would charge. I'd hire him again without hesitation. read more
