The whole crew came on time each day (10 min early in fact), the work is solid, they were quick, and they even put up with neighbors being salty about trucks in the alley (hi nieghbors - sorry, it's city life!) Aside from that glowing overview, the project itself was a garage tuckpointing. Much of the garage is intact but the top few feet of brick wall was completely erroded and one section of the garage was splitting and bulging away. We've wanted to get it all repaired but many contractors had quoted a price that was bordering on the cost of a whole new garage! Art's quote was reasonable and the work he recommended was appropriate. Nothing flashy, just good work. Now the garage is all fixed up, sturdy, and ready for another 100 winters - Thanks guys! The kind of crew I want to hire again even though I really hope I don't need you for a while :)

Approximate time was given for maintenance and Vitaly was right on! Inspected the roof top chimney and offered his expertise. Our Gas fireplace looks brand new. I highly recommend Chimney Monkey. However, communication was incredibly lacking about vital details like how long our family with two small children would need to be entirely out of the house for the project (not just the rooms in question), despite an in person meeting, signed documentation without those instructions and confirmations of project start date. Lack of clear instructions and communication on a matter so essential to the health and safety of our family caused a last minute scramble to find somewhere safe to live for over 2 weeks and additional worry as parents as they began the work while children were in the home. In response to these concerns, they offered a slight discount (and less than we amount we requested).

They'll tell you every excuse in the book, saying the patio has too much shade, poor drainage, etc. But the fact is, it was sealed and fine until they came, resealed/sanded it and then it was a disaster. Now I have to get it redone properly again. What a waste of money that was. Do not listen to the excuses they provide. They will reply here and it's 100% a lie. They would not come and redo it for me. So I will never recommend this place to anyone. Poor craftsmanship on their part. And they would not resolve it, so not a trustworthy business. Come with the excuses. Adios. https://youtu.be/e7CbCTkfPxE - view of the shoddy craftsmanship applied to my entire patio. The whole thing looks like this now and did after 6 mo of them redoing the patio. Before this, I never had problems to this degree, period. Nothing even close to this state. My entire patio has sun hitting it, there's no excuses here. There's guards along the edge to keep plants from penetrating it, always has been. They'll throw every excuse at the book while other contractors will just make it right, even if they have to redo such a poor job that did not hold up even for a year.

The scope of work was extensive--they removed two floors of drywall, repaired the ceiling, and completed major flooring repairs--yet they handled everything seamlessly.
