Just moving into the neighborhood my son asked, "What is Family Dollar?" I told him it was kind of like a Big Lots but not as good. He asked, can we go? So against my better judgement on a Friday after school we went. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, after I politely told the homeless person standing outside I did not have any cash. The area seems a little sketchy. They had my Starbucks bottled White Mocha coffees for $2.49, my son's favorite Tasty Kakes and $.95 Lunchables. (Which we purchased with the addition of a $1.00 box of granola bars and a $.85 bottle of Gatorade for person outside). They have a trove of hidden treasures just waiting to be purchased. Some of it cheap and some of it can be found elsewhere for a better price. I think this store will be a keeper on my list if I need something quick. Several aisles devoted to grocery and home goods. A small apparel section with some pretty good deals. And all of the staff that work there are all pleasant and efficient.

They came fully prepared with all the right tools and took great care to protect my home. They laid down a runner to keep floors clean and even padded the doorways to prevent any damage. I reported it to the company and was told management would follow up. They never did. The company's response was simply that the mover claimed I was "flirtatious" (False) Their original response was that he had a wife and kids so he wouldn't do that then changed their tone to accuse me of being flirtatious Whether a customer is friendly or not does not make it acceptable for an employee to use personal information obtained through work to contact customers privately. A reason why women can't feel safe anywhere anymore. The lack of professionalism and accountability was disappointing.

Did they STEAL joints from one of our boxes. YES! Did they smoke said stolen joint on the break they charged us for? YES!!!! Explain to me how at $140 an hour, I get charged $831 for a 4 1/2 hr job? 4 x $140 =$560 plus $70 for the half hour =$630. Now deduct the $140 I paid for travel expenses as the deposit. The total I should've paid was $490!!!!!!! How'd I get charged almost an EXTRA $400?! They wrote the hours worked but added some arbitrary numbers. Waited in my apartment until I was able to come up with the sum from a family member. They just stood around in silence holding us hostage in our home until they were able to successfully ROB us AGAIN for the extra funds. It was ridiculous enough when we went to look for our pre-rolled joint that was meant for us as our move in celebration, only to find a F#%*!~ chip in it's place. Did we have chips in the building? NOPE! So how it ended up in our weed bag is beyond me. Just because it was in an open box, doesn't mean they can remove our belonging. Have they contacted me yet in regards to my complaint? NOPE! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

That kind of jump so early in the agreement feels unreasonable, and it raises concerns about whether this will become a pattern. For customer loyalty and trust, rates should be locked in for at least a year--especially when customers enter a contract expecting stability. Sudden increases like this make it hard to feel confident in continuing service. I hope CubeSmart reevaluates how and when they apply rate changes so customers aren't caught off guard.

They will give you the run around, specifically gave me a phone number "to corporate" that was out of service, then made me speak to a poor girl on the phone that had no idea what was happening she was just a front desk girl, the coward manager wouldn't talk anymore because she knew she was in the wrong... missed one payment and THEY AUCTIONED OFF EVERYTHJNG. I got a text message saying "thank you for being a loyal customer". Oh I'd say they should have probably picked someone more ignorant than myself to do this to... but then again I would also guess they do this a lot. Just so happens I am a fantastic record keeper and have a lot of time on my hands as well as resources. Do YOURSELF a solid by going somewhere else, though. Because ethics matter when you store items that matter.. otherwise you wouldn't be storing them, right? You'd just give them up in the first place. This company has an entire side business making money off auctioning off units. If it's part of their annual revenue, and they rely on it... don't do it. They either take your money through rent or they take your money by selling your stuff and they don't give a sh*t. No f@cks given. Don't take the chance. He was helpful and transparent about everything, which I can always appreciate when doing business with an establishment. I love that the building is temperature managed. The location is cool, but being in the corner of the block is inconvenient. At any rate, I love that they have carts that you can use to move things quickly and efficiently into your unit. Building also has an elevator. ESS also attempts to attentively manage the business, building, and customers. I would recommend!
