I'm disappointed with how quickly my rental rate increased after signing my contract. In just two months, my monthly cost went up by $65.09. That kind of jump so early in the agreement feels unreasonable, and it raises concerns about whether this will become a pattern. For customer loyalty and trust, rates should be locked in for at least a year--especially when customers enter a contract expecting stability. Sudden increases like this make it hard to feel confident in continuing service. I hope CubeSmart reevaluates how and when they apply rate changes so customers aren't caught off guard. read more

Ryan "Gm" is aggressive and rude towards his customers. Sonya at the front desk can't explain things well, and backtracks what she says, and Ryan gets loud and aggressive for no reason. I felt VERY uncomfortable, attacked, verbally threatened and taken advantage because I was a female in there without anyone else I know. He's vindictive and completely unprofessional. I wish I didn't already move my things in or I'd get out of this place as soon as possible. I'm getting out of this place as soon as possible. If you're a female stay away from Ryan and this location. Ryan the GM just drove by the unit I was loading. Second time he stopped and argued with me, then called me a "F*cking B*itch" while flipping my off in his white car. Class act this place and guy is. I'm debating on filling a restraining order at this point. I feel beyond uncomfortable and stocked at this point. He threatened to evict me. But he's the one stopping at my unit and harassing and swearing ay me. He's the definition of unhinged. Thank gosh I have a dash cam to capture anything. I absolutely love it here. Ryan has been such a delight to work with. I actually moved out due to a unique storage opportunity but I missed it here so much that we had to come back. In addition, the Penske trucks they have are easy to drive, they have backup cameras, lane sensors, and are super clean!! Terrible service! The people inside are very rude I came by to use my own storage unit. They kept yelling that it wasn't open to the public. I pay monthly for the service so I'm just as confused. I'm in such disbelief I've never been treated this way. I will be filling a complaint. read more

We move a lot so we have had many storage units with several different companies. This is the first cubesmart we used, however. We had not had good luck with the other major competitors so we were looking for somewhere new and this just happened to be right around the corner. This facility has always been clean and well maintained. We never had any issues with staff even when our payment was a few days late. They were very good about calling before a late fee was added which I really appreciate. Life gets busy and sometimes that little reminder is super helpful. We ended up needing a second unit for a short period and they made it very simple and got us a unit as close as possible to the first one we had. When my husband went to unpack our units he had forgotten the keys, it was too far to drive back and get them so he had the locks drilled out. They didn't make it into a big hassle like another place had. So a stressful situation wasn't made worse and we were able to stick to our timeline. They normally have a free moving truck you can reserve which was a big plus when we decided to rent a unit here, however, hue to covid it was being rented out. Idk if it is now. The only problem we ever had was with other patrons blocking the door into the hallway with their vehicle. You could walk in but forget moving anything in or out. Several times we had to leave and come back at a later time because we couldn't properly access our unit. I wish the staff wouldn't allow it. It created conflict with several people bc we asked how long they would be or if they could move their car a little and who has time for that kind of negativity. Not me! All in all, I would recommend this location. I felt like it was safe, clean, and easy to utilize. read more

I have been arranging the moving out of my things and he has been a literal angel. The storage facility is well run and clean. I would definitely use them again for my storage needs. I was very impressed with the service I received today. Tom, the manager on site, was friendly, cheerful and explained everything I needed to know about renting a unit in detail. It's my first time renting my own unit, so I had a lot of silly questions. They gave me a great location, air conditoned, with easy gate access at an amazingly affordable price. They have weekend office hours, which is awesome if you're super busy, and the gate closes at 10pm so you can move your stuff in on a tight schedule. I'd recommend this location to anyone needing safe storage for their personal items. read more

When we rented storage here in December 2020 the manager was professional and friendly but on return trips we realized that the office hours are terrible. The office must be open so you can get the key to the bathroom and there wasn't anyone in the office so no bathroom available. It's a locked facility, not open to the general public so the bathroom should clearly have a code lock like the gate. If that were the only problem I would have rated them with more stars however when we were moving out a few months later (when covid was not as big a concern) and needed to use the bathroom the manager refused to give us the key saying it's company covid policy and told us to go down the road to the walmart to use their bathroom. In other words Cube Smart is too cheap to buy disinfecting wipes! It makes no sense that in December 2020 the bathroom would be open but spring 2021 there would be a covid rule making it unavailable. My child needed the bathroom and she still refused. We couldn't leave because we were working with movers, she would absolutely not allow us access to the bathroom. Be warned that when you sign up to rent here, everything is sunshine and roses and free use of the bathroom but when you are already paying and stuck - you are stuck and the service / rules change. We had to find a bucket for our kid to use! Totally unprofessional. Would not recommend them to anyone. read more

If I could do below one star I would. The customer service at this location is awful. After going out of town for business for two months, we called and were directed to pay our fees online. Going online, we were unable to pay, getting error messages. We called back and stated we were unable to pay online and they stated they couldn't take a payment over the phone because it wasn't secure. We were charged 636$ for 2 months of rent. We went in to talk about the fees and the manager Tom stated "I can't do anything". Aren't you a manager? So we waited 15 minutes for Susan, a supposed other manager, to get back from the bank to speak with her in which she said "I can't do anything, you could have paid over the phone after 29 days." This was completely different than what we were told over the phone. If no one can do anything, why is someone working here in the first place? Since this can all be done online. All they said was "we reached out to you", but reaching out means nothing if we have no way to pay! What's the point of a storage unit if you're unable to store you're stuff there while you travel?? Also, they say you get a free truck to help move, we tried for THREE WEEKS for this truck, which was "rented" according to the manager but the trucks never moved from their location. Awful customer service, multiple deceiving lies, and no help from their end. If you're reading this, avoid this place. You can get a MUCH cheaper unit that is just as nice and not have to deal with faulty payment systems and incompetent managers. read more

Went to Cubesmart today to store some of my belongings over summer, Tom, the manager on duty today, was extremely helpful and provided great customer service. I rented a moving truck from this location and it was a bad experience. I was told the truck was the smallest truck and the same one I had ordered, however, it was actually one of their larger trucks. I was given the truck with less than 3/8 of the gas tank full when they are supposed to have a full tank of gas. The cabin of the truck was also very dirty with sunflower seeds all over the place and someone else's personal items in the glove compartment. The mileage on the truck was also different from the mileage on my paperwork. Not happy with my experience here and would not rent a truck from this location again. read more
