Although you were working alone today, you made time to assure we were taken care of and all my concerns were addressed and I can't Thx you enough for that!! Our morning was challenging and let's just say I was feeling extremely frustrated regarding the unit Tranf misunderstanding and although I contacted the main customer svc number, not one rep was able to just advise the office didn't open till 930am and boy I had to use the restroom that was locked and no one was in the office,, ONE would think that the customer svc of PS would have this knowledge and advise BUT THEY DIDN'T.... I suppose everything happens for a reason because that's when "Daniel" contacted me and SAVED MY DAY Although we had left to go use the restroom, we were able to return and process the unit space transfer so promptly! Daniel was very professional and frankly his entire vibe was absolutely incredible and happy go luck Ready to go above and beyond I could hear his readiness to assist in his voice and when we arrive, Daniel was nothing short of the energy he expressed over the phone to take care of us Thank you "Daniel " for being our Super Hero today I hope you enjoyed those treats we brought you, YOU DESERVED THEM Thx you for turning our morning around into a positive So appreciated as you are SUCH AN ASSET TO PS!! Beware - this company overcharges and when you call to try to get it corrected they leave you on hold for over an hour and then cut you off. I will have to go in to confront them in person. if you have a unit here watch your charges as they are not honest! read more

This place is horrible! We are from Hawai'i and chose this place to store all of our college daughters things. We moved everything in mid April. We went to retrieve her things ending August and EVERYTHING was gone (so they say). They locked us out of the unit and said someone else is renting the unit because they "FOUND" our unit empty in May. Finding an empty unit means the renters "NO LONGER NEEDED" the unit. They NEVER called us. I continued to check the balance on the storage unit and it always said paid! $0.00 due! Damian the whole time claimed NOT to be the site manager but when Phoenix PD showed up...all of a sudden "He's now the site manager!" This whole thing has INSIDE JOB written all over it! "You have to make a claim with Orange door insurance" is all they threw in our faces and they thought that we would walk away with just that. We are not rich. Everything in the unit was to keep our daughter comfortable and help her not to miss home. Replacing everything was just not possible at the moment. I HATE THIS BUSINESS!!! read more

Just moved into the unit. Only thing I have an issue with is the Manager or helpers on duty are never in the office. I understand they have to go check on the units but this location should have 2 people always staffed to be open in the front office. I do appreciate the guy trying to give me a credit for something that was out of his control & he called me back to let me know he received the message. I've read the reviews and so far I haven't seen any dirtiness or trash in the F building. As for the rat infestation someone posted, that's probably the outside lockers due to the railroad tracks & field mice getting in. I do see rat traps set by the doors also so they are doing something to prevent the problem. read more

This is the absolute WORST rental i have ever done! Im a Realtor so i do a few of these for clients, this is the most screwed up method. I have gotten 9 emails, and had to call in 4 times, the property manager is non-existent. This has been such a hassle! read more

This place will rip you off so beware and read your contract in full. Notice how they don't list amounts they will charge you for those lien fees so by signing the contract they can charge you what ever they want. I've rent at other storage facilities but none of them were like this. Also, their customer service is rude! read more

I just moved out of my storage unit at this address. Several months ago I noticed rat activity in my uni and reported it to management. I was initially told that they were aware of the problem and would contact their vendor to take care of the issue. I waited over three weeks and two visits only to be told that I had too much stuff in my space. I ended up treating with rat bait myself and upon moving out I noticed damage to some of my furniture and 3 dead rats. To add insult my rent was increased by almost $40. I guess that was my punishment for complaining. I would not recommend this place due to the significant rat activity over there. And by the way I had no food stored in the unit. read more

If you value your belongings, do NOT rent here. The rat infestation is something I've never seen before. We had to get rid of thousands of dollars worth of belongings due to them being damaged by the rats chewing through/urinating/pooping on it all. This has to be a health risk. At the end of the day, it cost us thousands to store things here, all for them to tell us it's our business and not their problem. I advise everyone to stay away from this place. read more

My whole reason for choosing this place was being able to access my stuff after normal business hours. Being able to get in up until 9pm was really the only selling point for me. But after being there less than a month, barely two weeks, they've changed their access hours to up till 6pm during the week, 5pm on the weekends. I'm pulling my stuff, and finding a new place with hours that make more sense for those of us who work during the day. And what really gets me is I'm pretty damn sure they knew the change in hours was coming, but didn't bother to say anything while i was signing up and forking over cash. Not to mention, they're really pushy. I made my move in appointment for a Sunday at 2pm. Twice, they called me to try and get me in earlier. Not super awesome. read more

UPDATE 9/1/2021: The "general manager," (Kristi?) called me two days ago. They take ZERO responsibility for allowing their facility to become infested with rats. I requested that my fees be waived until they get a handle on the rat infestation. She kept saying, "We will not provide FREE rent." They've provided rats, but they will not waive my fees until it is handled. She claimed that they didn't know, and when I pointed out to her that there are reviews from 12/2020 about the rat problem, she became defensive and told me that they "are not obligated" to inform renters of the rat problem. Insurance does nothing for my wedding dress and photos, my son's baby clothes, etc. My items have sentimental value. I explained to her that I have moved to the Midwest, and I am wiling to make another trip back to recover my belongings when I know the place isn't overrun with rats (I'm not interested in being bitten while I get my things.). She kept talking about not giving me "free" rent like I'm trying to take advantage of their rats. This facility is trash. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT WITH THESE PEOPLE. 8/14/2021: I have been renting a unit for around 4 years at the 43rd Ave and Camelback location. It was a clean facility when I first entered. They assured me that they had pest control and regularly treated the storage facility. I arrived today and noticed a strange odor and black specks. I wasn't sure what it was at first, but as I began handling my boxes, I saw strange splashes on them, like someone had spilled liquid from above. There was an empty bottle on the wire above the cage, so I thought that was the source . . . until I picked up a box and grabbed clothes to sort - and smelled urine. RATS! This place is now infested with rats! Not only is it infested, but I did not receive any notification of the problem. After I recognized the signs, I noticed the Terminix black boxes all around the facility. The woman at the front desk said Terminix is treating after I called them. This is unbelievable. Because I was clearing the unit, I stirred up dust which, as anyone knows, puts me and my son at risk for possible hantavirus exposure. I don't know if they're under new management, or what the issue is, but I am disgusted. Furthermore, I contacted the front desk to ask about a trash can - they don't allow any dumping at the facility, but since the rat problem was theirs, I thought they would allow a customer to dump rat-urine-soaked boxes - nope. As for pest control - a few years ago, I noticed some dead black bugs - they were pretty big, so I thought cockroaches or cicadas. They were in my unit (I don't have any food items in my unit, just clothes, books, and miscellaneous items.), but I figured someone probably had infested belongings. Well, now I think they don't use pest control to PREVENT infestations, instead, they treat after an outbreak. Right now, I have to go through my belongings and decide what to keep and what to throw out. Yes, I have insurance - but what good is that when items have sentimental value? What good is that when there is rat urine on the wedding dress you planned to gift a relative? There is no price that can be put on the value of some of my items. I am beyond disgusted with this place and I can't wait to leave it behind. If you care about your belongings, don't leave them here. read more

This public storage unit has no care for your belongings. In fact, they might even want some of the stuff in your storage unit. There is someone in the inside who has been taking stuff and I have a feeling it is the female worker that works there. Do not go to the public storage, and if you already have a unit, I suggest you look in it and move. read more

This was my VERY FIRST time using a storage and let me just start off by saying the entire team over there is absolutely awesome! Marc was the one who took care of me showed me around and answered any questions I had. I'm not sure the other two ladies names but the female who I'm pretty sure was in training let me borrow her charger was absolutely a life saver since I didn't know the area and I was on 1% she saved me ! ok so i had to come back from my mental break down so i could finally write a review BECAUSE WTF?!!! i am beyond shocked and disgusted to live in a time that this kind of sh** happens. so aug 2020 i lost my apartment due to the rent increase so i had no choice but to leave my things in their storage, when i first got the storage it was only $99 a month (do-able) however over time the price kept increasing up, so by November of 2021 i found myself having a having a hard time keeping up with the strage rent since i was already at $191 a month and i just couldn't afford it but i had nowhere to put literally everything me and my kids owned so with a heavy heart i called the storage and let them know that i can't pay it so they told me that on dec 26 2021 my things would be auctioned off which i accepted thinking i atleast would be able to cover the fees accrued and not have so much to pay off. A few days after dec 26 i get an email stating my belongings were auctioned off but that my new balance was $568 ($10 MORE THAN WHAT I OWED ORIGINALLY) so confused i called asking if my things were auctioned off and why do i still owe so much? the response was absolutely shocking!!! after asking the person who answered a few times how much my things sold for she finally told me.....my entire world, everything i had worked so hard for GONE and sold for only $10....yes $10!! i owed them $558 (estimated) and i had a storage full (brand new sectional, queen bed with bed frame, my kids bed that i spent $500 on, my tvs, basically everything in a home...gone and someone only paid $10...that's how much i was worth to public storage. so thank you public storage, i should of known thats how storage auctions worked..i could of at least buy my things back for $10...oh and on top adding an auction fee of $150 (you cant make this stuff up people lmaoo) xD read more

I give them 3 stars because the facility itself is clean, newer units, and the ease of getting in and out. What I don't like are their hours. They open at 930a and close at 530/6p. Those hours are not convenient for those who work normal business hours and need to get into their storage. Even in the weekend it would be better to open sooner before it gets warmer with the higher temps. read more

I've never had worse customer service!!! I was so appalled by this experience that I felt obligated to share. Yesterday I went to close out my unit/account and in the process, met the two employees working at the time, MOLLY and a trainee boy. I got to my unit and realized there was an additional lock preventing me from opening the unit. I saw the trainee and asked him why this lock was there, he asked if I had a balance and I replied, "yes after this I'm gonna close out my account" and he removed the lock. As I was going to the office to pay my balance, the gate wouldn't accept my code so I used the call button and that's when Molly came out. She then referred to me as a "delinquent liar" and continued by accusing me "you lied to my coworker when he asked you if your code let you in". FIRST OF ALL, you should NEVER disrespect a customer and call them out of their name. NEXT, the TRAINEE is the one that lied about the question he asked me. It's pretty obvious that when the trainee realized he f*cked up, he thought he'd be able to lie and turn it on me. So all in all, Molly and the trainee need a good lesson on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Hopefully someone of higher power above them sees and addresses this because with employees like this, nobody will give this location business. read more

My experience with this Public Storage has been highly frustrating and disappointing. After using another location years ago, I'd anticipated a similar experience at the 43rd and Camelback, but was wrong. One month after renting the space, my unit (along with 4 others) was burglarized. My Smart TV along with several home furnishings and son's bike were stolen. Public Storage apologized and stated the cameras over the units in question were out of service. This implies to me that it may have been an inside job, but difficult to prove. The insurance policy is purchased was worthless, because I did not have receipts for my stolen items. The next time I checked on my unit, I found a massive amount of wood pieces and shavings covering my belongings, primarily on my couch. Public Storage stated the roof was repaired recently, causing many units to be covered with the old siding and roofing pieces with little regard to the protection of our belongings. Moving my belongings to another facility would be too costly at this point, but I can guarantee I will NEVER use Public Storage again and highly recommend others avoid them as well. read more

I've left Pheonix a few times in the past to leave state for a few months and this is where I always leave my precious life behind... and so far they have been as good to it as I have so no complaints. so i actually lost my keys for my storage, yeah go ahead and laugh with me... lol the manager cut the lock with the exception of buying a new lock for less than $20. which was a reasonable prize. if i would of hire a locksmith to do the work.. i would of been locking for double the prize. so anyway enough of my blah blah blah.. i have nothing negative to say about the Public, these people give quality customer service and that is what i always look for. =) read more

clean freindly and secure but the climate control unit isnt as cool as i thought it would be and its a little misleading when the extra hidden cost of a lock i cant keep and insurance i cant really use is added to the bill kindaa defeats the whole free month of anything deal. read more
