If you're moving across company you wrap everything carefully, like items with like items, room by room. When you're moving across town (well, if you're me anyway), you think... "there's absolutely no reason not to wrap the china in underpants and put the lawn mower on your father in law's antique desk." Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... Enter... the Green Bin team!! We needed a solution to do a bunch of car moving (multiple trips of 8-12 bins in the back of our SUV), and finally to knock out a quick little U-haul truck at the end (these are UBER stackable!!); a winner for us: 1) labels on index cards which can be changed out before the next load, 2) sturDY!!!, 3) delivered to our origination and picked up at our destination, 4) custom dolly... with REAL wheels- not some jankety-A makeshift tote cart, 5) a pick-up date forced us to unpack, which meant we settled in really quickly. There is a 4 way tie for the best part of Green Bin: 1. The owner - Jeremiah - is the most wonderful person. The company was technically outside the service area but Jeremiah made the exception to help me out. WOW. When is the last time that happened? 2. The moving company gave me a better rate when I told them we were using Green Bin because of the organizational factor. The movers were on a flat rate and we saved 2 hours of time thanks to Green Bin. 3. As a lazy mover, I simply threw my clothes in the bins, on hangars and everything which made it super easy to unpack at the new place. 4. The Green Bin costs are extremely economical. So, moving is not always super fun...BUT with a company like Green Bin it makes the move a lot easier! The idea of being "eco-friendly" was a big plus, and having moved A LOT in my life the thought of making boxes, tearing them down, trying to figure out how to get rid of them is a process I'm not fond of! One of the biggest things that spurred me to go this rout was the convenience of "drop off and pick up". They come right to your door both ways and it alleviates the stress of trying to figure out how to haul a bunch of boxes or bins yourself! Green Bin's customer service is great superb, and they are very attentive owners! It's easy to access them and they were available to answer all my questions! By getting rid of the boxes and tape game we all play when moving...Green Bin has made the packing and moving process a breeze! The bins themselves are high quality and incredibly durable! From fine china to the heaviest of books...it can hold it all and keep it safe! Our movers LOVED the idea of them - and mentioned how these saved their backs by having the convenience of handles and the size was easily manageable! Not to mention, the dollies they came with to transport them were incredibly handy too! Lastly, the dreaded "unpacking" process - with GreenBin you're actually MOTIVATED to get the job done! Another gem here in Phoenix! Called this place late for my move, but they still were able to deliver the bins on time. They deliver to the old location and pick up from the new location! Jeramiah was great, communicated well, was courteous and they were cheap! Not having to 'waste' money on cardboard was a welcome change and these bins are a lot better than cardboard for the main reason they can carry a heavy load without flexing or breaking out the bottom! Green Bin. Everything others have said is true. Green Bin is AMAZING! I met Jeremiah who is simply the nicest guy around and very friendly, prompt, courteous, and professional. So glad I noticed the Green Bin van driving in my neighborhood prior to my move. The fact that they bring them to your door and pick them up at your destination was crazy convenient. When ordering online, multiple combinations of bin quantities and length of time needed was extremely easy to manage --the hard part is perhaps you yourself trying to decide how much you need and for how long. Pricing shows up and is right up front for you to see when ordering. Something I really appreciated. And I didn't know it when I ordered, but I do now -- the pricing is extremely fair for what you get. THIS is an excellent service! With Covid-19 lockdown going on, I wasn't sure I would get to use this service but they opened back up just in time for me to get my order in. I ordered 30 bins for 2 weeks which I knew wouldn't be enough for all my stuff but I didn't know where I would put any more than that in my apartment before moving. The bins were spotless clean upon arrival with a little bonus a packing paper and labels. The bins are super sturdy and a wee bit bigger that I thought they would be. They do indeed hold a lot. They can get heavy fast but since I had movers I didn't stress that too much. (Word of advice: DON'T load a bin full of books -- insanely heavy even for the strongest of movers! And I had 13 bins of books.. don't judge me) These stack up nicely and the provided dolly was a dream. (In hindsight, a second dolly would have been useful. I probably could have requested that but I didn't know I would want/need one at the time.) The movers were very impressed by the bins and dolly as well. They stacked high and made "Tetris-ing" the moving truck a breeze. They were impressed with how prepared and organized everything was. In truth, I possess those traits anyway, but Green Bin made me look like a QUEEN! But I digress... As mentioned by others, by having a set time for pick up of the bins, you are strongly motivated to unpack. That was a plus but keep that in mind when deciding that pick up time. **NOTE for those moving these without a mover: We were able to move 6 bins at a time is a Honda CR-V. Which we did multiple times before packing all 30 for the movers on moving day. I have been forever spoiled. Hands down, the best decision I have made for moving and I will always move this way now -- I have seen the future and SO GLAD it is available in the present. Only thing that would have made this easier was to have packers do the packing while I sit back with a glass of wine. I just used Green Bin for my daughters move and I loved it. They dropped off the bins at her apartment and picked them up at our house - so easy. The crates are just the right size for efficient packing while not getting too heavy. They came with paper for wrapping breakables and labels so the movers knew where to place the bins. Nothing in the bins broke in the move. The process was easy and hassle free. I think the best thing is that with the scheduled pick-up we needed to get them unpacked, versus procrastinating and ending up with those couple unpacked boxes for weeks (or months!). They are responsive and very easy to work with. Excellent customer service plus they're sustainable! In my case, I used them for a shoe drive and they were big enough to fit 10 pairs. Wow. 90% less hassle than using cardboard boxes. Kind of like when we all tried a smart phone the first time. There's never going back. This made packing so easy without the tape and setting up and breaking down. Not having to worry about the box breaking was a lightbulb moment.
