Very unsatisfied with the rates. Our space was $89.70 and after 3 months, it jumped to $151.70 and they added a $31.10 insurance rate to the cost although we do not want it. We chose a lower insurance, minimum, but they cannot make adjustment because we notified them 2 days after the due date. I will be looking for a cheaper and a more reliable self-storage to move my stuff as soon as possible. read more

My car broke down after dropping off some things and it took hours for the tow service to respond and show up. She was here for me and was very kind and attentive to my basic human needs. Although I would have never asked her for assistance as to intrude, she was very kind and helpful. If you need help, though hopefully not in the same regard that I did, I'm sure Sam will be of great assistance to you. This facility is very well maintained and secure. I've had a unit with them for almost 16 years and never had a problem with any of their managers. If you're looking to rent for 6 months or less it's perfect, but any longer and you will be price gouged by this company. Every 6 months they increase your rent and justifying it by saying it's a market increase....which is a TOTAL LIE! Even during the pandemic they have continued to increase the rents. No compassion for people's loss of income or hardships. It's supposed to be a Mormon company but they don't care about people's lives only profit. Horrible customer service. A cockroach infested custom moved in across the aisle from me. Unit 129 in the climate controlled wing. Since then, the place is been infested with cockroaches for three weeks now. I called their 888 customer service number multiple times and asked for district managers down to call me back. Customer service people have always been very nice. But No one will return my call. There are hundreds of dead cockroaches and a few still still kicking around. I can't remove anything from my storage unit without fear of infesting my house and my customers accounts. read more

Clean facility and well maintained, however, it's just a nightmare to deal with the local office and horrifically bogus online system and iPhone app. In 3 months my unit rent increased by over 15%, which the local office said was due to the costs of maintaining the property. Funny considering I am a long term out of state tenant who doesn't even access the unit. Further, they can't ever seem to get billing correct. They are quick to add fees, but ignore multiple correspondences documenting their website and app not allowing the timely rent payment due to incorrect calculations. Extremely frustrating with their rent increases and their lack of taking ownership of their billing system errors and inability to be utilized for any legitimate use in managing my account. The iPhone app also erroneously calculates the time of gate and office hours when you're in a different time zone! Lastly, if you have multiple units at different locations you must have separate logins and manage them separately, very frustrating. It's also a bit of a slap in the face for repeat customers since there's no incentive or benefit to storing again or with multiple units across their locations. read more

Not only was she polite, she was professional and well spoken. She made my sister's move from NY stress free and got her the appropriately sized storage space she needed for her belongings when they arrived from NY by tractor trailer. I have used three different storage facilities in two other states and so far, Extra Space has far exceeded all of them. The property is extremely clean, the unit I rented was spotless when I opened the door, which has a handy spring to assist the rolling up. Staff have been very accommodating and helpful. Each time I return to the property to access the unit, it's tidy and well maintained. Hours to access are long and the office is open everyday but Sunday. Each unit is individually alarmed and can only be disarmed when your individual code is inputted into the gate keypad. I like that extra security. read more

I have rented at this facility for more than a year - I did love it at first - however there was a huge tradeoff - besides the $117 a month rent which I always paid on time - the current facility manager has thrived on confrontation with me - day in and day out I feel as though I am gearing up for battle with her coming and telling me I do everything wrong - we had our civil moments - those were few and far between - consistently flip flopping - kind and friendly one day - cold unkind and uncaring the next - I even gave her a $40 cooling fan for her office and a $70 bluetooth speaker gifts as a friendly gesture - I have reached my breaking point and I can no longer be around her at all - I am moving my things to a different storage within the next two weeks - parts of this facility have also not been kept clean and remain in disrepair such as dented corners outside the buildings and rain gutters unsecured that sway back and forth in the wind - I picked up trash others threw on the ground - my efforts were not appreciated - There is plenty of Extra Space to pay your money into this corporate cesspool - don't say I didn't tell you ahead of time! read more
