Everything is good about this place except that after a few months my rent goes up $110 without warning! I see the charge in my bank statement 50% rent increase after a few months. Totally blindsided by this. Had I known they'd do this I would have done more research to find a storage business that doesn't just suddenly charge you $100 more after a few months. read more

Extraspace storage in rochelle park is terrible. Do not go there unless you want your rent to go up every month. The management is very unprofessional rude and they will lie to you. Stay away from them!! read more

It's clean and well lit, never see any pest. The downside is my rent has more than doubled and it keeps going up. I'd only use short-term if you can since they will raise the rent every few months. If you call to talk to someone their best suggestion is to move to a smaller unit, so no real help there. read more

Six months after I moved not my storage unit here they doubled the rent. I was paying $ 88 with out any notice they raised it to 160$. Not cool Lodi extra space storage.And in regards to your response to doubling my rent I talked to both your employers there and neither of them said they were able to help. Facility is clean and well maintained. Pete at the front office is friendly and efficiently gets you set up and into your unit hassle free. As a female who frequents the storage unit alone; sometimes very early mornings or after dark, I always feel safe. Pricing is better than other facilities and there are no hidden fees. In my line of work, I must always have a storage unit for keeping my supplies. So, in the past six years at my job, I've experienced three storage facilities. This one, a Public Storage and the other privately owned Liberty Self-Storage in Jersey City. You can tell by my star rating, I've experienced better, however, I would not totally write off this location by any means. I have just had exceptional service at the facilities. Pros: The location is convenient to a number of major highways (17, 46, 80) and common areas are always clean of debris. I have never felt unsafe. Cons: On a number of occasions, there haven't been carts available to haul my boxes (from the 3rd floor to my car) which is a total pain in the you-know-what. And unlike other locations where I've rented, they do not allow you to throw out anything, not even broken-down corrugated boxes. Lastly, they recently increased my rent by more than 10% without any notification (they just submitted the auto payment to my credit card). I understand an increase but more than 10% in one shot is a bit much in my opinion, especially without some type of heads up. -MJ read more

I have been a client for over 4 years and have no plans of leaving this facility! I live closer to other storage companies as well as ES places- but I stay loyal because of both of them!
