Yesterday I got online saw their amazing prices and I reserved one and within 5 minutes I received a text asking me if I wanted to call them or wait for them to call. So I waited and she was so nice and told me what my next steps were. Which were to come in... so back to my first sentence the staff was amazing down to earth, they made me feel like we are all friends. They showed me the place and just were so honest and happy. The thing is that I always look at when people work for someone and they are this happy you know this place is a good honest place. Tony was AMAZING!! Keep more rat traps in your storage units! Found a dead rat/mouse in a drawer of a dresser between clothes. Lots of rat/mouse poop in multiple spots of storage units. Things are chewed up and lights needed replaced. Jacking up rent prices every 3 months is also ridiculous and we won't be back. If I could give zero stars, I would. From the time we started here in 2019 everything was looking good and I understand inflation but over the years jacking up the prices by hundreds of dollars is really sad. The swamp cooler didn't work for 2 years but you can spend money on a whole new building with air conditioning!!! So sad if you care about existing clients you could charge more and we wouldn't care but please don't patronize this unit if you care about your possessions. In March of last year I rented a 5'×10' on the 2nd floor of Building B. I paid a full year in advance as I could not afford the continual monthly increases that many are given. Approximately 2 months ago I received an email informing that work was to be completed on the elevator that brings renters to the 2nd floor. I am a disabled citizen and although the service would be very inconvenient perhaps it was necessary. Well, the elevator IS STILL under repair. I spoke with an attorney who represents clients with American Disabilities Association issues and was informed in part that since there WAS another elevator in the structure I could not claim that I was being prevented access to my owned property. Yes, there is indeed a second elevator but it is almost 50 YARDS from my end of the building. I filed a negative review to proclaim my situation and was contacted by a women (Upper management?) who first acted somewhat surprised that I was disabled but not offered no resolution except to refund me 1/2 month rental. What is this small refund supposed to do? I find the business practices of Extra Space Storage to be unbelievably anti-customer and the attitude of the management personnel to be insulting. I can only say that they WILL get their deserved rewards in the afterlife. read more

I don't know where to start. If you saw my review from when I first rented a unit here about one year ago, you can see how pleased I was. Well, things went downhill within one year. First of all, the air conditioning unit / swamp cooler broke, (they advertise as a cooled unit), but things happen and they were gracious enough to give me a discount for the two months that they didn't have it operational. I wanted my items to not suffer the intense heat that we experience here, much more than I wanted a discount, but I accepted it as a show of good faith from them. I was thinking about searching for another unit because I spend a few days a week there sorting and cataloging through my items that I store, but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that the inside temperature would be restored to how it was when I first rented the unit. The swamp cooler was eventually replaced with something else that didn't work anywhere near as well and the unit was unbearably hot. Before I could get my stuff moved out, there was a bad storm and due to their old, neglected roof, my entire contents got drenched. To make an unfortunate situation worse, it took them over 24 hours to notify me that damage had been done which meant that the things that weren't directly drenched had soaked up the excess pools of dirty water. When I asked the people working there for help and solutions, they casually told me "that's what insurance is for", and offered two solutions, one to move to an available unit next door to mine (which I think anyone can see why I didn't choose to do that), and another to move across their facility to an upstairs, and more expensive unit. After a few days of back and forth I attempted to reach out to the company's customer service department, which is not really a department, but did manage to speak with a woman who seemed to care about my plight a little more, and offered to throw away my damaged items for free if I wanted to leave them there, and walk away from the unit. This felt like a slap in the face, talk about rubbing salt into my wounds! I did leave some of my things there, but removed the rest, they were terribly damaged, but also valuable at one time, and of course precious to me! All of my contents were destroyed by their negligence and I have zero recourse with insurance as it wasn't an insurable disaster. I did not purchase their insurance as I thought I had ample coverage with my renters insurance, which my policy includes storage units, but it does not include poorly taken care of roofs and structures, and I'm not sure if the insurance that they offer would have covered that either. Do not use this facility if you want a safe place to store your things. They charge the same rates as other newer facilities that are all close by, so take the time to shop around. I wish I had of done this sooner, but now I'm in a much better place, that charges less, is temperature controlled, modern, and new. This facility, especially Building C (unit 42 is apparently directly under a hole in an old roof) is a run down structure, with weak cooling, and a timed light, that you have to turn on outside the wall every 15 minutes, black widows, and cockroaches (I hadn't seen any bugs until I was removing my things, so I'm guessing the poor roof situation had brought those things to my items whilst I was getting things out of there as quickly as I could). I don't like to give bad reviews, but I'm devastated, a lot of what I lost was Art Work that I had grown up with, and other things from younger life that were/are very sentimental to me that I'll never be able to replace. Do yourself a favor, and look for someplace other than here! read more

I rented a space here because I needed to keep my jet ski in Henderson so I didn't have to trailer it 450 miles to my home in California. I asked the employee, who I believe was the manager, the hours that renters can access the storage. She told me specifically that renters have access the property 24/7. When I drove there to drop off my jetski, I put in my access code and could not get in. Later I found out the manager had lied to me - there are only certain hours during the day when you can access the storage. If the manager had told me the truth, I would never have rented from that facility because I typically drive home after sundown when it's cooler and less traffic. My only option was to trailer my jetski 450 miles back to my home. I wasn't appreciative that I had been lied to and, worse yet, they refused to refund the money I paid them. I recommend you consider a business that is honest with their customers. read more

Very professional / personable staff - Secure well lit facility - Like that the buildings are air cooled w easy entrance & parking... With everything going up in $$$ -- I took Maria's advice & paid for 6 months in advance thus locking in my Sign up special = $36 monthly rate... I was paying $124 / monthly for a larger storage unit elsewhere - after 5 months my rate shot up to = $224 monthly... I have been storing my travel trailer on private property and was just told that after this month we needed to find a new place for storage. I checked around town only to find out that most places charge $200 + for storage. I was looking for a outdoor parking spot that was 21 inches long. I happen to call the Extra Space Storage that was closest to me and spoke with Kiki. She was awesome I told her that the price was too high and that I would continue my search. However, she was able to find me a location that was actually closer to my husband's work for half the price. She put in a reservation and within 10 minutes I got a call from Regina. She made this transaction happen for me! My husband wanted to take a look at the location on a Sunday however, the office is close that day. So Regina went out of her way to take pictures of the actual spot and the surrounding areas. If it wasn't for her taking the pictures we probably would've lost out on this awesome deal. Everything was done over the phone and via email. Her communication skills were awesome!! She was able to walk me through the contract telling me how to complete the email form over the phone. After Tony answered all my questions I drove down and met with him so that he could give us a tour. The Place has climate control which is much needed in Vegas lol. The only reason my move happened yesterday morning is because of this Extra Space Storage on Galleria Dr. Shirley (I think was her name but I was very overwhelmed when calling lol) facilitated the unit and got me into one on the ground floor. I got this all done on the last 10 minutes of my lunch break on the phone with her. She then blessed me with the recommendation to the Vegas Moving Guy (702-561-9242), who, with under a 14 hour notice came to my house and helped me pack up a furnished 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment and take everything to my unit within 3 hours. Nothing was packed, so you can imagine the task we had at hand. Thanks to Shirley the unit she put me in couldn't have been a more perfect size!!!!!! When I finally had time to go to the unit today, I was lost and tired, never having physically seen my unit before. I called the office and Tony came to the rescue to guide me to my unit and show me how to use my lock and lights etc. Tony is totally a badass. It couldn't have been more obvious I've never had a storage unit lol. The units as a whole are extremely clean. Tony spotted some trash by the door and picked it right up. It really shows how much they care. If it was not for Shirley, the Vegas Moving Guy (which was Shirley's recommendation), Tony, and Extra Space Storage as a whole, I would've never accomplished what I needed to yesterday. Was calling around to different storage companies and most had unreasonable prices for their small unit. We only were needing to store a few bin containers and had no need for a very large unit. Their customer service representative reserved us one of their smallest unit with a excellent price but upon our arrival meeting the staff member Tony and the Manager Maria who both were very knowledgeable about the business not only aided us with the process of completing our check-in Tony also got us a unit one size up for the same price. I just rented one of their units a few months ago and went in to pay this months bill and I was told that the price I signed up to rent monthly is not locked in and that my unit rent has gone up. Site says they reserve the right to raise prices anytime!! I did not receive notice of this prior and very upset. This is a old storage place and on top of that very poorly configured. There are obstacles getting to the unit through the main door, etc. Never ever have I received a price increase to a unit I signed a lease for with any other storage company!! read more

This place is a joke! We were here for a year and at the end our unit was "broken into" along with some others. With the unit price you get charged for insurance in case anything happens. Well something happened so they told us to contact the insurance which we did. We had moved the majority of our stuff out but our tv along with a dryer and some frames were still in there. The tv was stolen and not only did they want pictures of the tv but they were only going to give us the cash value of the tv. We bought it a couple years ago for about $400 but the value of it now is probably next to nothing. I didn't take any pictures of the tv while we had it, I mean who takes pictures of their tv... I did however still have the receipt but clearly that means nothing! I would seriously reconsider if you plan on storing your items here. They will sell you a dream, hike up your monthly price every few months and then they're NO help when your unit gets robbed. read more
