My mom and I followed up twice on the request with no instructions from the employees on how to move forward, just verbal confirmations (our mistake). By the time it got to the new manager, Virginia, the situation was handled with attitude, frustration, and unprofessionalism. I am questioning her qualifications as a "manager", as she cannot deal with customers and solve the issues of her staff. Be careful, as Virginia is capable of twisting conversations to her corporate office to get her way at the expense of a good customer. We are happy to be cutting ties here. However, no one ever answered or returned my calls when I tried to confirm if early pickup was possible. The real issue came after drop-off. We returned the truck exactly at the agreed-upon time and parked it in the same spot we picked it up from, keys locked in the drop box as instructed. The next morning, I got a frantic call saying the truck was "missing." I explained where we left it, but the woman insisted she couldn't find it anywhere on the lot. When I asked if she had checked the lockbox, she admitted she hadn't -- then said she'd call back if there were any issues. I never heard from her again. No apology, no confirmation that the truck was indeed there -- nothing. It was very unprofessional and stressful thinking a U-Haul truck might be missing under my name. Clearly, she hadn't looked properly before calling. If you're renting from this place, make sure to take lots of photos to confirm that you actually returned the truck.

Joy gave me a tour, explained everything with important details and started the rental process. Her coworker completed it the next day as Joy was off and I purchased the rental insurance for $12.00 a month and I paid a prorated rent for the rest of April plus a onetime account set up fee of $29.00. The next day my family and I moved my belongings in. We reserved their truck from 9:00-12:00, but called to request an extension of two additional hours. Joy upon greeting me at the storage facility, told me we could have the truck until 4:00 or 5:00 pm as there wasn't anyone else requesting it. The facility is nice, new and clean. The units are indoors and heated or cooled depending on the season. I recommend Morningstar Storage. I am a satisfied customer!

Other storage centers were charging ridiculous rates! One place had an intro rate of $65 a month for 3 months but then the rates jumped to over $250 a month! This was pretty common until I found Epic Storage. They had a great intro rate and then a special if you buy 4 months you get 2 free which we could stack with the intro rate! It was an amazing deal and the relief of the unit being paid up front meant I didn't have to remember/worry about another monthly bill. The site was clean, cool and well maintained. I loved that the only way to enter the property is by the app and being granted access through Epic. There are indoor units, 2 floors and you only have access to your floor. Plenty of carts to move your stuff and the staff is great. I've dealt with a few of them, from sign up to adding a month they are all very friendly! I highly recommend this place for your storage needs. Best price, best staff and best security in my opinion!
