This is the absolute worst storage facility. The unit was filthy and with broken glass and trash in it. It was obvious that they did not walk the unit due to the condition. The lightbulb was not even working. It was more expensive than other storage facilities in the area. Additionally, the "manager" is rude. read more

I had recently rented a parking space for my motor home at Best Storage. I was a little hesitant to park my vehicle there because they have no security guards and only an automatic gate that can easily be hopped. I decided to take a chance because the employee I dealt with was friendly, he said there had only been one minor incident there recently, and the place seemed well-maintained. I went to pick up my RV for a trip last Saturday and quickly discovered from the deafening noise after starting my vehicle that my catalytic converter had been sawed off and stolen. Upon contacting Best Storage (there's no emergency number), I was told that this had happened to at least one other vehicle. My guess is that it happened to a lot of vehicles. Apparently, there was no surveillance footage and I don't think they reported it themselves to the police (I of course filed a police incident report). Needless to say, I had to cancel my trip (lost a deposit there), work through the incident with my insurance company, and wait a week before my vehicle was repaired. Best Storage did not offer any words of apology or any indication that this was a problem that would be immediately addressed (how about hiring a security guard?). They implied that some things were "in the works" and they offered to cover one month's storage rent. Well, $205 hardly makes up for a canceled vacation, a $500 deductible (that I had to pay out of pocket), a lost deposit on my vacation spot, and the hassles of dealing with my insurance company and getting the vehicle repaired. I think the worst part of all with this incident is the seemingly lack of real concern about what happened. They certainly didn't give me any confidence that this was a big deal or that they would be taking immediate steps to prevent this from happening again. I got one vague reply about "applying" for some sort of extra security, but I had no idea what they were talking about. Even simple suggestions (hiring a security guard, getting a watch dog) seemed to fall on deaf ears. An employee at Best Storage said to me: "they won't be back; they hit a place once and then move on". Was that supposed to be reassuring? It wasn't. Security is a top concern, in my opinion, when you trust your vehicle to a commercial storage facility and pay a monthly fee. And you assume that the company you're entrusting your vehicle to also considers it to be similarly important. Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem to be a top priority at Best Storage. I am at fault as well for selecting this storage space in the first place with such obviously inadequate security and with such an apathetic attitude. I will be parking my vehicle in a new place from now on. read more

Best Storage was great! We used their outdoor storage for our RZR. They were less expensive, more convenient off the 215 and way more helpful getting us in with options than other storage facilities. The office was always super friendly even when we had to cancel since we moved out of state. They even called us when our tarp fell off. I needed a place to store a recently purchased 5th wheel RV. I found Best Storage while searching the internet for storage locations. Their website was informative and well constructed. The website photos showed that they had exactly what I was looking for. Visited the location to see how easy it was to get into and out of the facility - I found it very convenient to get into and out of the location. Took a tour of the facilities to see the RV storage locations. Paul was a great tour guide and was very informative about access to the sites and future improvements being made. Vivian at the front desk was a pleasure to work with - pleasant and with a great sense of humor. Paperwork was completed quickly and professionally. I've rented a fair number of self storage units over the years but none compare to these guys. Friendly, clean and well-maintained. As promised in my previous review, I am updating my evaluation of this business. I booked a Penske rental back in April and I picked it up today for my big move. The employees who work at Best Storage are some of the most friendly, helpful, and efficient that I've found. The truck was ready for us by the time the business opened in the morning and they already had everything ready for us to just pay and go. Using U-Haul sure wasn't this easy! I used Best Storage for my entire 3BDRM home while I was on an overseas assignment. Recently needed storage again in Nevada so went back to the best. Top quality service, good follow through, and they go the extra mile, i.e. free lock with admin fee (never see that in the industry), free high quality key chains with Best Storage info (yeah, that helps to keep the key with the place), and a nice cold bottle of water after I unloaded.
