Today we arrived the power was turned off the working door. A man was trying to manually open the door with trouble. During the day of move in, the facility staff practiced MD retail covid-19 practices and I was provided a contract, then it was all explained to me. I signed the contract and started moving in. The facility has 24 hour surveillance, keypad and gate at entry and exit, lighting and climate control at the storage unit, and Space to unload and pickup. There's also ample moving supplies for purchase. I'm completely satisfied with my decision to work with Storage Mart!

You can even pay online. When we arrived, the entire grounds were clean as well as the inside of the building. There was no weird activity and its seems that the grounds are monitored well by security. The outside is fully accessible but you need a pass code to access the inside units. The inside is clean and free of smell. My unit is large and perfectly accessible. I couldn't be happier!

We were told to bring the registration, title and proof of insurance on the bikes when we brought them in. We brought the motorcycles with all the paperwork to store them at which point we were told since I rented the unit only my motorcycle could be stored in it - my husband had to rent a second unit as i am not on his title. that is there POLICY. I wanted to raise the matter above the Sunday fill-in guys head which fell on deaf ears. Big time BAIT AND SWITCH! We inked a deal with them understanding they were working in good faith. They only thing they really care about is being able to liquidate everything in your unit should you not pay. Never ever will I use this storage facility no matter how nice and clean (it is) and DO NOT recommend anyone try to store vehicles with them. FOLLOW UP - Dave at presumably the home office called to discuss my experience, promised he would provide a refund of the charges we encountered. 3 weeks later that refund remains missing, go figure.

I have complained to management many times and they just give you rat poison packs that are not helping because when the mice eat the poison they die somewhere within the unit or on your items. I recently went to get my fire pit out of my unit and the mice chewed a hole in the cloth covering bag and nested a family in there. Roseanne exhibits an I care attitude of which nearly brought me to tear's, she resolved a serious burden with truck rental while professionally processing the leasing agreement highlighting all conditions as well, walking the property and reflecting confidence and security proudly insuring we're safe. It's clean…read moreenough but the one star review is based on the unprofessional treatment I received from the manager, Shantell, of the store when I went to secure my storage rental on move in day. I had never experienced anything like this before in my life and had I not had a rented truck (with a deadline I couldn't extend) with my belongings already with me I would not have rented at this facility. For full disclosure, I did file a complaint with Cube Smart and the District Manager called me and apologized for my experience and said he would "address it with the manager of the store" and for me to call him should I have any additional issues. For the price and the plethora of other storage facilities available, I would not recommend this place because of the disrespect you may experience when trying to pay for your unit or resolve any other problems.
