The sales person was intentionally vague with truck spacing details claiming to be able to offer low prices for the FULL inventory I provided. He also rushed over the inventory list on the phone claiming "it's ok if it's not completely accurate right now they are happy to make adjustments later". They certainly were happy to adjust by intentionally leaving off furniture I had listed and then upcharging me an additional $700 to add it back on a subsequent phone call. Upon pick up, the two movers video called the dispatch office to go through inventory which HAD NOT changed since the previous conversation with the company. The dispatch worker became rude, aggressive and immediately said I had more than what was intended and would not fit in the allotted space on the truck. He said I had the option to either abandon my move with no refund of the previous $1800 I had already paid or pay an additional $2000 for more truck space. When I was questioning how the estimate could be so off since I didn't have any more furniture than what they already had on their list (in fact their list continued to have errors including a book shelf and entertainment center that I did not have and even upon removing those mistakes there still apparently wasn't room) the dispatch worker became aggressive and said he had other jobs and no time to go over these specifics with me. I ended up abandoning my entire bed and my couch as well as a mirror in order to STILL pay an additional $1000 to fit my move. I had also been promised by the sales team half of a truck (ended up being about a fourth of the truck), that I could pay 50% on pick up and 50% on delivery and use a credit card and none of this was true. He completely lied in order to make a sale. I had to pay 70% of the increased price with a personal check on pick up and they wanted cash on delivery which I definitely did not have enough of on me at the time. The salesman also said that the movers would pack up furniture/mirror/TV (wrap, tape, etc) free of charge. I was then told by dispatch this was also a lie. Every single communication I had with this company told me different things and I was continuously charged more money while being treated like I was in the wrong. At one point the dispatch even said "you're not a mover so you wouldn't understand" when I simply asked for him to explain the additional $2000 worth of charges. Extremely rude customer service and sales that were criminal with what they offered compared to reality. I ended up paying over $1700 more than my initial estimate and had to move to a different state with no couch and bed. I feel as though they intentionally were vague and undershot the pricing from the start so they could walk in on pick up day and rack up the price so that I would be desperate to agree in order to get my belongings moved. I cannot express my frustration enough with this company and would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE to use them for a move in the future. The two movers themselves were the only silver lining in this horrible experience. They were friendly and treated my stuff with care and ultimately tried to work with us even when the other members of this company were adamant about ripping us off. At the end of the day this was by far the most frustrating and worst moving experience of my life. If I was financially able I would have told them to leave on pick up without taking anything but I would have been out nearly $2000. Other issues: arrived 11 days later than expected, Zero communication, No 24 hour notice after it was promised, driver called and said would be there in 20 mins after I made it clear I needed to bare minimum notice as I was starting a new job, Most days I would not get anyone on the phone and no call back or rude attitude when speaking w customer service and asking for updates, I had to reach out every single time no info was shared upfront even on the expected delivery day, at one point they gave me a fake phone number, Marked everything "SC" without telling us so we couldn't claim scratches at drop off, charged for every addition 100 ft they had to walk, Boxes damaged, Family had to change multiple flights to stay to help, Promised insurance form for my apt and never sent to me They are swindlers and criminals and know exactly how to victimize the vulnerable who have no other options. I was reached out to the day before my crates were to be delivered asking if they could deliver them a day later due to some issues on their end; I told them I was planning to go out of town in a few days and really didn't want to lose the day packing, and they made it happen as scheduled. The crates arrived right on schedule and were brought in to my apartment. After I moved and finished unpacking, I was done a couple days early and texted to see if they could pick the boxes up early and they came out later that day and took them from inside my apartment. Their bins are pretty spacious compared to cardboard boxes. There's also less mess and more space when you move as you don't need to worry about breaking down and getting rid of all that cardboard. I got the studio apartment package for 3 weeks and didn't think I needed the dolly - but the dolly came in handy as I was packing and unpacking, to more easily get to the boxes I needed. The boxes themselves were easily stackable and you'd know if you overpacked them based on the design. The boxes are also super sturdy. To label them, I'd recommend using masking tape - super cheap and no need for all that extra label paper. The tape also peels right off when you're done but stays on better than the reusable labels. (I didn't use the pro to labels because they were a bit small for me). When the boxes arrived, they were mostly clean and ready to go. The boxes' drop off and pickup were both super smooth. When I was not satisfied with the garment boxes, I was only charged for the week I had it. I did have to pay for the extra pickup, but it was still cheaper than keeping the garment boxes for 3 weeks. The boxes stack into each other easily when you're done so it saves space as you unpack. Pro tip: as you unpack, stack the boxes right onto the dolly, including the box you're in the process of unpacking. Customer service is super responsive over text and it felt like they took an interest in making the process as smooth as possible for me. I had unpacked a day early and they were able to come by and pick up the boxes the same day. I was getting unlimited cardboard boxes for free from my dad's job but was glad I used pronto boxes instead for this move.

I was very impressed!…read moreI probably sent about 6 requests for quote out to different companies and Lynn at Express Haulers was the first to call me within a minute of sending the request, and the only one persistently following up with me. I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. They never told us the truth. They avoided calls, never took accountability, and offered no help in recovering even a single item. My parents lost everything, family photos, furniture, memories, gone forever. At their age, this has been traumatizing and life-changing. We had to start completely over from zero. It created an uncomfortable tension during an already stressful move. I am grateful for their good hard work, but I would prefer to post a review because of the quality of service, not because I feel pressured to in the moment.
