Read the MANY reviews for this transport company. I have also experienced just about EVERYTHING I've read. I used my 401k monies moving from California to Ohio with the same grievous experiences. Lied to, avoided, prized possessions damaged, money gouging, false assurances, the whole fraudulent package. My question is about filing a class action lawsuit. Does anyone have information on how or if we can file a class action. My experience for rating Primeline Vanlines is far below just "bad". I believe to rate this company leans far more towards criminal.​ 2nd Insert regarding class action. This starts with a private attorney as directed by our State Attorney Generals office. I've read all these one star reviews and we have experienced everything everyone else has and then some. Our price went from $5168 to $24k. We had a 53' truck show up with our items but there were four households loaded after house. The driver told us that all 5 orders were coming to us. We asked him to come back the next day and we hired movers from U-Haul who removed all four orders to get to ours. They had 70-75% moved into our home when the driver was called and told to lock the truck. We never received the rest of our things and hired an attorney. We filed a lawsuit in federal court only to find out that PrimeLine Van Lines has gone out of business. I think we should all write to the police department in New Jersey and send a copy to the local office of the FBI. They will reopen under another name and they need to be stopped. read more

I reached out for my move I had a deposit down. Reached out and no response. This company basically either went out of business. Web site has been under maintenance for weeks and phone number doesn't work. They just took my money and don't respond. read more

This company is the worst. They delayed my pickup for days and kept moving the pickup hours. They refused to return my $930 deposit when I finally canceled due to their breach of contract. I reported them to the fraud dept of my bank but I doubt I will see my money again. I'm 76 and have been scammed by this rotten company read more

A few weeks ago I contacted prime Van Lines for my Moving services from California to Arizona. The person that I spoke with initially grossly under estimated how much cubic feet I would occupy in their truck and quoted me around 2700, then up to 5000,. They never told me that they subcontract out the company that picked up my stuff in California was a different company that I spoke with to do the estimate and they never physically came to my place to do the estimate. The movers that came to pick up my stuff said that my quote was off And it would be triple the amount that I was initially quoted. They sat in front of my place for over an hour until I sign the paperwork instead of $5000 to move cost me almost 13,000+ money I paid somebody to pack and put into storage. The Customer Service was extremely poor they never notified me an ETA. When I called Customer Service or dispatch, no one would ever call me back and their lines would just keep ringing. This Company has the worst Customer Service and I waited 10 days before everything was finally delivered to my home in Arizona. I understand their delays but they could've been more specific with a timeframe so I could make arrangements to stay somewhere. When the company arrived they banged my washer and dryer around like it was a toothpick. Things were broken and missing items and then it was impossible to fill out a claim form because there was two separate companies that picked up and delivered . Do not use this company for your Moving services absolutely horrible Customer Service they're unscrupulous and they lied about how much it was gonna cost. Finally when I paid the balance, they waited two hours before I get the money because there was issues with the money order and withdrawing money from your checking account and all those limits. They were gonna charge me $250 to wait but it wasn't my fault because there were issues with the money order And fraudulent use on my card. These companies do not take credit cards or checks and they make it very inconvenient when it comes to making payments for the move. They only take money order, Zelle, or cash.. The move was a complete nightmare from beginning to end. I wish I could provide positive feedback, but I speak the truth. read more

You should believe all of the negative reviews about this company. They don't care about their customers AT ALL. After adjusting my quote with an accurate box count, they showed up and said the price would be double what I was quoted because I had many large items. I was also told by more than one agent that I would be able to pay by credit card for pickup and delivery while the driver was on site. That was a complete lie. The company they hired did not take credit card. My pickup was on a Sunday and of course their customer service line is closed. It is now three weeks after my stuff was picked up. My delivery was supposed to be today (another Sunday) between 12 and 3pm and it's now almost 4pm and no call. They changed their payment game again and said they would not accept a personal check on delivery... payment must be bank check, money order or cash only. They tell me this on a Saturday after 3pm when all the banks are closed. I proposed that they deliver to me on Monday and they tell me they'll need to charge another $1,000 for holding my stuff another day. I told them there was no way in hell that I'd be paying them more than my estimate which already doubled since my quote. It's funny how they like to do business on Sunday but have no one working to help you... this has been one of the worst customer experiences ever. read more

When I spoke with the representative for quoting I asked specific questions such as are the goods transferred direct or are they placed on another truck during transport? I was told it is direct... it is NOT. The bid the delivery to 3rd party companies, I never would have proceeded with them had this information been provided honestly. I also told them repeatedly that the number of boxes expected was higher than what they actually quoted for leading to a significant additional fee. On the day of delivery when the third party driver showed up, he was alone with no help and was unaware that we paid for "white glove" service and attempted to leave our belongings in the entryway. Thankfully he was at least a good person and more or less did what was expected. When I called and left many messages and emails in as many places as I could, I got a call back from someone who told me she was from "the real Prime Vanlines who service only in the area of CA", and not the "bullshit company out of NJ". She provided me a number that she received from other customer experiencing the same problem. When I called the it was a company of a different name but when I googled them they ironically had the same exact address listed in my contract. Stay away from this company as it is not reputable. I was unable to leave zero stars and had no choice but to leave 1 star. read more
