They wrapped our furniture and belongings extremely well, and we didn't have a single thing damaged. They also took the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture, which was a huge help. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole move. The only thing I would mention is that the move took longer than we originally expected. BUT honestly, I don't really see this as a negative because it was clear that they were taking their time and doing things the right way. We've had movers in the past who rushed, cut corners, and ended up damaging things, so I would much rather have a team take a little longer and be careful with our stuff. Overall, we were really happy with Albo and would definitely recommend them. Moving is stressful enough, so having a team that you can trust to actually take care of your belongings makes a huge difference!

The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. The day before my move, I still hadn't heard from them regarding what time the movers would arrive. When I called to inquire, I was told that my original quote was wrong and that I would have to pay around $200 more. I was irritated, but was already set to move the next day, so I agreed to the new quote from this new person. The movers arrived 2 hours before the scheduled time (not their fault, once again the fault of the company), and they were LOVELY. Such nice men, friendly, and did an excellent job. After they had finished, I received a call from yet again a different person asking to settle my payment. This time, it was FIVE HUNDRED more than my initial quote. I was baffled. I explained to this new person my situation, what the previous two people had told me, and why I certainly wasn't going to agree to pay that much more. She understood, talked to someone else, and lowered the price back down closer to my 2nd quote (still higher than the original). I would never recommend this company. The movers themselves were so wonderful, but sadly dealing with everything that company put me through was not worth it.

I had my stuff ready and packed so they just came, packaged everything more securely with bubble wrap, furniture pads, etc, and then catalogued everything for me. I was a bit worried because I had several mirrors, but once I saw the great care they took to secure everything, all my fears were assuaged. I don't remember all their names, but Brian and co. were phenomenal!! 2 weeks later Adam and Ari came back with a truck of all my stuff and unloaded it all in my new apartment as requested. They were both so friendly and accommodating. And best of all, all my items (especially my mirrors ) came back in good condition. I cannot recommend this service enough, especially if you need both storage and moving help! The only thing Is I wish I could schedule my pick up and drop off appointments at the same time. I had to wait till my stuff was picked up before I could schedule a drop off date, because their website only allows one appointment at a time. That was a bit inconvenient for me since I had to also reserve a move in time slot with my building as well. Many boxes showed visible yellow staining consistent with rodent contamination. The odor was so strong that I had to isolate several boxes in a separate room. Despite repeated washing, my clothing and bedding could not be salvaged. I ultimately had to discard nearly my entire wardrobe, sheets, towels, stuffed items, makeup, tattoo equipment, and nail tech supplies due to contamination concerns. Several household items and glassware were also cracked. In addition, my armoire was broken during storage. Clutter has agreed to compensate me for the armoire, but they have refused to compensate me for the widespread contamination of my clothing and personal goods. Their position is that items "packed by the owner" are excluded from coverage. However, multiple boxes -- including clothing and bedding -- were packed by their team. They are now requiring me to provide proof of which boxes were packed by them in order to consider reimbursement. This has been extremely frustrating given the visible contamination and the extent of the damage. I expected professional storage conditions and reasonable care of my property. That was not my experience.
