I needed movers at the last minute, within 2 weeks. I was moving a small one bedroom, no large furniture, just a few small shelves, bench style small dining table and about 10 boxes and some odds and ends. I emailed about 15-20 movers off yelp. I was mostly quoted prices of $600+ with additional fees for the extra miles because I was moving from Philadelphia to Phoenixville. Murch Movers emailed me with a simple hourly rate for 2 movers, a truck, a flat one time driving fee and a date/time and requested my addresses and a confirmation. The quote was so simple that I almost felt like they couldn't be legit. I confirmed since the price was the most reasonable and the date/time worked the best. I am so happy I went with these guys. They provided me a direct cell to contact them with any urgent issues. There was construction going on at my complex that was going to block my front entrance to the street (which the condo management did not warn me about after booking my move out date) and I texted the movers to let them know and they gave me their ETA so I could coordinate the move with the construction crew. When they came, they moved my stuff quickly and we were off to Phoenixville. There were spots of traffic all the way there and I figured they would arrive a bit after me since they were driving a large truck. They actually arrived 5 minutes before me and luckily my bf was there to meet them! The elevator was stuck at our new place and repairs were not going to be done for another 2 hours. The movers were so great, they moved our stuff into the condo garage to store and even thought of using the condos multiple trolleys to store our stuff so it would be easy for my bf and I to move them up after the elevator was fixed. They took our TV up the stairs so it did not sit in the garage. If you can believe it, they did the job in 2 hours including driving to Phoenixville (and there's a 3 hour minimum). I was so happy with their work, I was happy to pay the 3 hour minimum plus an addition hour work as tip! These guys are young but organized and wonderful! My bf and I will definitely be recommending their services to any friends who need to move and will use them again on our next move! Thank you guys! This company moved me yesterday (from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house). They have extremely reasonable rates when compared to other moving companies. They were polite, professional and were efficient when it came to time. They fit all of my belongings in one moving truck because they know what they are doing (I could have never done what they did as good as they did even if I had rented a uhaul and had my friends help me move). None of my possessions were damaged or broken and they even took furniture apart and put it back together correctly. And when my sons desk wouldn't fit out my apartment door one of them is so skilled that he completely dismantled my son's bedroom window in 10secs and they took the desk out the window and then it only took him 10secs to put my window back together! I had a relatively small move, with 8 or so large pieces of furniture and used Murch Movers. They offered a very reasonable price, and they were very responsive to my request for a quote and my dates, on relatively short notice from me. They were flexible in being able to hold the move on the date I needed. They also did an excellent job with the move itself. Brad Murch was very responsible, and responsive. I don't know where to start with how great these people are. Brad (owner)was able to give me a an estimate the same day I called, and then had time to move me three days later. Granted mine was a local move so only took a couple of hours but they did a fantastic job! They took apart our beds and put them back together at the new house. They moved everything carefully especially down our difficult staircase. We dont have a single ding in any wall or any furniture after our move. They were all quite personable and easy to communicate with. We are hoping to move again in about five years and I am definitely holding onto their number. read more

Easiest moving experience ever. I had packed all my boxes myself, and the two guys came and loaded everything in 45 or so minutes. I thought it would be more hands-on for me, but I was able to just continue working while they did everything. They wrapped my paintings and all of my fragile items and even packed a desk for me that I forgot to include in my inventory. The guys were very efficient, polite, and professional. They drove my belongings from NYC to Philly and unpacked everything, and my parents had only good things to say of their experience with them as well. The moving company to use!! FABULOUS.... I went with them for a move from my parents house to Philly and they came in like such professionals, moved all pieces with seamless effort, protected all my fragile large pieces, and had such good motivation and drive to get the job done. I had a number of large pieces that I was nervous a team could could even manage moving including a 68" TV, a 72" large mirror and a large credenza.. Brad kept in contact with me via text throughout the process so I knew what to expect regarding the arrival time. Brad is the owner. He confirmed my appointment the previous day and texted me 10 minutes before their arrival. He sent CJ and Taylor with a 20 foot truck. We hired them for 3 hours but they finished the entire job in 2 hours. We moved from a high rise apt to a townhome, Murch Movers arrived on time (communication prior was smooth and clear as well), 3 guys, friendly, professional, efficient. One item broke during the move (a mirror), luckily it wasn't extremely valuable but they immediately acknowledged the error and offered compensation. These errors are bound to happen sometime.
