Matt and his workers were great! They showed up on time and ready to work in masks. They handled my furniture and items with care. In particular, I'm a crazy plant lady and they really took their time in placing them in the appropriate boxes and carrying them gently to the truck. In addition, there was a piece of furniture that they were able to maneuver into a bedroom that previously was unable to fit the traditional way. We made the mistake of not returning to Jameson moving on our last move and deeply regret it. Jameson Moving helped us move a 1 bedroom to a 1 bedroom, a super easy and simple move and they made sure to keep it that way! This was early 2021 and they respected all COVID restrictions. They had a huge truck and only 2 guys but because it was mainly furniture they got it done so fast! There were no hidden gimmicks, no surprise fees. They told us upfront if we don't make the 3 hour mark, that we'd still have to pay for 3 hours which is totally fine, especially because they were open, honest and up front about their fees! So I had guys from this company move our stuff yesterday. I'm surprised by the reviews for this company. Four guys showed up and moved things quickly. Then on our way to the final destination, they said they were going to go by Wawa to get something. We were fine with that thinking it was a quick stop. We got to the final destination and waited for 40min before the guys arrived with the truck at the final destination. We called then during this time and they said they were down the street which they weren't. We got charged for this. The distance between two destinations is 10min. At the final destination I realized none of our items were wrapped or protected with moving blankets. Our couches have dirt marks on them. They scratched up my dining table, did not offer an apology and just told me to buy those wood paint markers to fix the scratches. They damaged part of my bed. Icing on the cake was one of the guys urinated in our master bathroom without asking for permission and left urine stains on the toilet seat. He tried to rush out of the bathroom when he heard me coming back upstairs. I'm disappointed in this company and will not be using them in future. Called Matt the next day after the move and I NEVER got a call back. Update: Matt called yesterday and apologized on behalf of his team for what happened. He came by and took a look at the furniture. Cleaned the dirt spots and tried to repair the part of our dinning table that was damaged. He also gave us money back for the amount of travel time the team took between houses. I felt like he tried to rectify the situation and I appreciated that. read more

Just completely disappeared during my moving process. I have an out of state move with a planned pick up this week and delivery next week. Matt contacted me a week ago to let me know we would have a pick up date as "we get closer". After not hearing anything and 3 texts and 3 messages straight to voice mail later, I am now stuck paying an extra $4000 to a larger company for a last minute move. Completely unprofessional. If they couldn't handle the move be honest about it. Stay away. They don't even provide a written estimate so as a consumer I'm not protected or in a position to file an official complaint or lawsuit to recoup my losses. I just have a bunch of texts. If you want laid back and flaky this is the company for you. Just to add an update expect to go straight to voicemail and receive callbacks from random phone numbers. After calling me previously from two other numbers before bailing on my move, Matt saw my review and called and texted from a third number with a ridiculous excuse days after my move was complete. He told me he had "a lot of Jens in his phone and accidentally blocked me". What? He asked me to remove my review. Sure if you reimburse me for the extra cost of $4000 I incurred. See his response. Definitely stay away from this company. Offering $50 for an egregious mistake. We hired Jameson. The owner ,Matt, came over and gave a quote in a very timely manner. They showed up pretty much on time. They had one truckload of furniture and worked from 8:30am- approx 3:30pm. He had four people total to move the furniture. Some of his employees were genuinely nice. They get a lower rating because of several reasons. It has been 10 days since the move and I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. However, after today I will disclose all the things that went wrong. (I just got my replacement tabletop) 1) Damaged three pieces of antique furniture. 2) Broke the glass for my antique dining room table, employee stepped right on it (accidents happen). 3) The replacement glass is smaller then the original and the moving company owner dismissed as just a minor difference. 4) The broken glass for the 70"x38"(heavy) tabletop was left for me to clean up and dispose of after I requested numerous times for them to remove. The owner said he would remove it and then left it anyway. He was sneaky and carried it out of my house then left it on the front lawn where he parked and had to walk by in order to get into his truck! My daughter even watched him put it in his truck then REMOVE it and leave it in our yard. 5) The owner reassembled the dining room table when he came with the replacement top (he was hoping to just drop off the glass and leave). He reassembled it saying screws were missing, he was going to get some screws then ended up just leaving, truck gone....never said anything. When I texted him about putting the table together he said he did. There are screws not even threaded in, there is an extra screw in the bag that his employees had put all the hardware in. There are holes that look like they need screws in them. 6)The owner never apologized for any damages or inconveniences. 7)They slammed the furniture a lot with such disregard when they were taking it apart or reassembling. This is someone's property, have more consideration. 8)They never put together a sectional, instead left it all in a disorganized heap, laying sideways, cushions tossed all over. 9) Showed up without any tools. Said the other crew took the tools for their truck. Shouldn't each truck/crew have a toolbox? They had to borrow our tools all day. I would not recommend Matt or Jameson Moving Company. read more
