My experience with All My Sons Moving (32 Coles Ave, Cherry Hill Township, NJ and All My Sons Corporate Office in Texas) has been the worst service experience I have ever had, and their public ratings across major platforms reflect exactly why so many customers report similar issues. Please don't take the chances that I did and use this company. You'll be very sorry. I hired All My Sons for what should have been a simple, professionally handled move within Pennsylvania. Instead, the company sent a crew from their New Jersey branch, and from the moment they arrived, the situation was unacceptable. The movers smelled strongly of weed, and the odor was so overwhelming that it transferred onto my belongings, the moving blankets, and into my home. Despite being quoted $1,500 for a move that originally included far more items than we ultimately needed moved, the crew stalled for hours, took an unreasonable amount of time to get set up, and barely worked. They attempted to charge us $200 per hour for 12 hours to move fewer than ten pieces of furniture and no boxes--time that was inflated entirely due to their own lack of productivity. They even took apart furniture unnecessarily, removing every screw they could find, and then struggled to reassemble anything, which appeared to be a deliberate tactic to keep the clock running. To make matters worse, they forced us to pay immediately before unloading the furniture, even though the job was nowhere near complete and their performance had already been unacceptable. They refused to allow me to inspect my furniture after they brought it in. They were holding my furniture in their truck until I provided the person on the phone with a credit card to pay for the move. By 10 p.m., exhausted and frustrated, we had no choice but to let them leave. My husband and I ended up moving most of the furniture ourselves, unwrapping and assembling items they were supposed to handle. The next day, we had to take two cars and make multiple trips just to move basic items like totes and clothing bags--items we specifically hired them to move. Damage Discovered - In daylight, the true extent of the damage became clear. The movers had: * Drilled holes through three credenzas, including over ten holes on the wrong side of two of them * Split a 500+ lb wooden and marble credenza by placing it on its side on a dolly instead of carrying it properly * Stained my couch * Broken a $1,500 art piece * Scratched $1,200 chairs Their lack of training and care was obvious, and their behavior raised serious concerns about whether they were under the influence while handling our property. Claims Process & Geoff Burgess I filed a claim for nearly $10,000 in damages, providing receipts, photos, and videos--evidence the company was aware of from the moment the damage occurred. Since my move at the end of December, I have been going back and forth with All My Sons for months. It is now March, and they have: * Refused to settle * Refused to explain their employees' behavior * Refused to address the lack of training or drug testing * Refused to replace or compensate me for the extensive damage The claims representative, Geoff Burgess, has been a complete roadblock. He: * Refuses to review any of the material proof * Refuses to provide documentation * Refuses to acknowledge the severity of the damage * Blocks any attempt to escalate the issue I even tried going to his supervisor and to customer service, and no one will do anything. Every path leads back to Geoff, who simply repeats the same scripted denial. Their final response was that their insurance would only cover $644 under "limited liability," and they refused to refund the $1,500 I paid for the move. The local NJ operations manager initially told me he would speak with his partner and call me back. He never did. I have texted him multiple times and left a voicemail with no response except to speak Geoff in claims. The company also refuses to let customers speak directly with their executive team, forcing all communication through an internal division that shields them from accountability. I even tried reaching out on LinkedIn to the chief customer officer of all my sons in their corporate office in Texas. Conclusion - This company's behavior is unacceptable, and their pattern of ignoring customers, denying valid claims, and hiding behind internal processes is exactly why they have low ratings on Google, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau. Incredibly unreliable and unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Read the bad reviews -- our experience was far from unique. We confirmed on the phone and had documentation sent to confirm our moving time because we're in the city and needed to book the building's loading dock. We got a call 3 hours early from the movers saying they were in route. We told them we couldn't do anything until our booked time. Our booked time came and went, and when we called for an update we were informed no movers were coming for us. Not only did they leave us hanging, no one even let us know the company canceled on us until we called. I call back again, this time requesting a moving consultant and the lady gives me the run around with the hold music, says she can't find the number I used for the account or the operations manager... even though I've only given them one phone number, the number I was calling from. MALICIOUS COMPLIANCE!!! Then another lady comes on to tell me to give me the phone number I used for my account because they still cannot find it! I ask maybe they can use my email to look up my account since I also gave an email. She says "no ma'am, I just need the phone number you used for this account". Hello??? Zero stars! We hired this company for a simple move for a number of pieces of furniture. Not only did we have multiple items broken, including an antique desk, we also had deep scratches on the dining furniture. We are also missing a piece of artwork, how does one large picture disappear??. They stacked boxes with fragile items on top of each other, 3 and 4 boxes high when they put them in the house. They used a kitchen utility cart to move heavy boxes, and completely destroyed it. They took 1.5 hours lunch, when they were expected to be back on 1 hour. They returned from lunch in what we believe was an "altered state" and completely unfocused. The crew arrived early, were extremely professional and friendly, and took great care with every piece of furniture we owned. They worked efficiently while still being thorough, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and treated our home and belongings with respect. Movers beware - if I could give a zero star, I would. We booked with All My Sons Moving company to load our belongings, store them overnight, and unload the following day. When they called to confirm the day prior, we were told they couldn't hold our belongings overnight and quote "I can't make a truck appear". After working with our agent to re-work our closing, we were confirmed to do exactly as we were led to believe (as stated above), with movers arriving to load the truck between 8-10am the following morning. 10:30 rolls around, my wife calls to check on arrival time, only to be told at that time that they are CANCELLING OUR JOB... day of our move. Not our problem, as a customer, that your trucks are stuck at another job in Vermont... Figure it out. To have our cancelled moving job compared to " waiting in line at Wawa for coffee" is absurd! I scheduled my move and was in communication with the operations manager multiple times from March all the way through June 26th--we were all set to move on the 27th. As the day went on and I still hadn't received a confirmed arrival time, I reached out via email, text, and phone. It wasn't until 5:00 PM the night before our move that I was finally told--only after I chased them down--that they had cancelled our move because they were "no longer servicing our area." Let that sink in: No heads-up. No courtesy call. Nothing. If I hadn't followed up multiple times, I would have been left completely in the dark. What makes this even worse? I was about to use them to help move our largest furniture to our new place about 30 miles away. I went to their website to request a quote, just to end up getting a phone call from an automated voice asking for more information and much more of my time, which felt slightly aggressive. I know that scummy businesses try to monopolize your time for the sake of hooking you into a bad deal. I mean, I had already provided all the necessary information for a simple quote in the survey. It was just fishy, so out of skepticism I just hung up and called one of my buddies to help me move stuff over Spring Break. I, then, proceeded to receive a phone call a few minutes later from an unknown number. This was instantly followed by a text to complete my quote and call them. However, I thought nothing of it. I had seen something like this before from plenty of companies. I assumed too early. I am not joking when I say that every hour or so, I would receive a phone call and the exact same text. At one point, I just decided to not block the number and see how much it happened. It stopped after work hours, but--after getting to work the next day--around 8:30 AM it started up again. I decided that they were nearly harassing me to complete a quote and use their moving services, so I took to the internet. I looked them up and instantly saw countless reviews across Yelp and Reddit lambasting these people. I don't what Chris Generale is up to, but this company is completely incompetent from what I have seen. I am giving 1 star for their phone harassment campaign to force your cooperation. I can't say that I have used their actual moving services, but just read people's experiences with the actual services and you'll have made up your mind quickly. Absolutely Horrible Experience -- Items Stolen and Unprofessional Movers I had an absolutely terrible experience with this moving company. From start to finish, the movers were unprofessional and disrespectful. Two of them were smoking cigarettes on the job, one was on his phone most of the time, and they complained the entire day. The move took over 11 hours, even though I only had them move my belongings to two locations -- a storage unit and my apartment. They completely overstuffed the storage unit to the point where I can't even access anything inside. At the end of the night, I even caught them trying to take bins that weren't meant for donation, and when I stopped them, they gave me an attitude for having to bring them back to my apartment. The worst part is what I discovered afterward: many of my belongings are missing, including designer clothes, solid gold jewelry, couch covers, and pillows. So far, I've estimated about $25,000 worth of missing items -- and I'm still counting. This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and not to be trusted. There was miscommunication with the company and the movers about what needed to be moved so they weren't happy when they had to move additional boxes. I was also surprised when at the end they told me it was a 2 hour minimum (even though it took them just over an hour) in addition to the flat rate + hourly rate so it was more expensive then I was originally told. That being said... they packed my stuff into a U-Haul and during my travels I was in an accident that tipped the truck and not a single one of my belongings (including wine glasses) broke, so they did a good job packing the truck! read more

I would hire literally anyone over ever using this company. They showed up late, charged me WAY over quoted price and damaged not only every single piece of the only bedroom set they moved but also the door frame of the rental causing me to lose my deposit. They were supposed to arrive between 8/9 showed up at 9:45 didn't touch ANYYHING until after 10. My husband showed them every item that we wanted them to move, less than 30 items. Upon arriving at my new home they asked for immediate payment, my mother was the only one there because I had to be at a doctors appointment and agreed to pay 1200 OVER the original quote. I attempted to get this straight and found out they were trying to charge me starting at 8:30 and were planning on staying until 3:30. Keep in mind travel distance was 15mins between locations, so 2,5 hours to load 2.5 hours to unload less than 30 items between 2 people which is outrageously slow. Since the movers were so late (after asking to come early) I was with after discharge care team from the hospital when they finished. After finishing my appointment I went to my bedroom and found every piece of furniture in a location that blocked closet doors/vents/made it unusable. They then piled things in the doorway of my bathroom so I couldn't even get to it with items they were not supposed to touch. Every piece of my bedroom furniture was damaged. At the time I couldn't even walk without a cane from the stroke I had 4 days ago and moving all the items to a functional space was not safe. I also found multiple more pieces they chose to pack and move on their own then charged me for the materials. I went back to the rental I found they destroyed the metal door frame, my landlord noticed this as well we lost our deposit. I spoke with Vinny about all the ludicrous charges and the guys choosing to move at a slower rate than possible and he started yelling at me loud enough my child could hear him 6ft away and he was not on speaker. I asked him multiple times to just change the card number on file I was done arguing with him. He not only would not do that he continued arguing and saying everything was my fault. I finally said just change the fucking card and he hung up on me. I spoke with another man that had no problem just changing the card. I also spoke with a Tom with all the issues he said to email him then never said anything back. I am now disputing all charges with my cardholder as they cost me well over the inflated rates they made up to charge me. I will never use this service again! Buyers beware. I originally prepaid for 1.5hours and was told they don't do that, yet it was approved the day before. The one mover, Jason, spent a good half hour arguing with me over the timing of the service and threatened to end services when I asked a question. Customer service was very hard to get in touch with. One of my items was scratched up and they used pillows to cover up the damage. Then I saw the same person that argued with me smoking during the time I was using their service just to make it over 1 hour mark. It was so bad I had to leave the area. I received a quote for a very small move of $149/hour for 2 men. I spoke to a few different people and was told that price from all of them. Spoke with someone via Yelp who offered 10% off of that price. I thought this was great and I moved forward, confirmed several times with the person on the phone that this would be the price I would receive and gave $100 deposit. Fast forward to today when I received the written quote that was much higher of an hourly rate than what was discussed and the 10% off wasn't included. Someone was texting me about the move so I reached out to them and explained what the price was supposed to be and he did push through the 10% off but still at the much higher rate as he said via text "the hourly rate on change on my end do to your system being old". This made no sense, and I asked a few other questions over a period of an hour this morning. I never received a response from this person. I called the office and when I explained what happened, he didn't even apologize or offer any fix. I canceled my move. I should have listened to the terrible reviews on here! Thankfully I didn't move forward with them as I see many did and were taken advantage of. I booked all my sons moving the initial contact was very good. I booked and paid my deposit. On moving day two guys arrived at 9:03 am. I own a very large sofa and to move it in it had to be broght in through the back door and to do so it had to be brought through my neighbors driveway and lifted over the brick wall separating our property. I informed all my sons about this prior to booking. The mover that I showed reacted strangely. Then as we went back to the living room he took his phone out and walked out my front door. At 9:22 am I looked out the window and the truck was gone. He said nothing prior to leaving. I figured someone from the office would reach out and explain. At 1:08 pm still nothing so I called them and was told they knew nothing about it and let them look into it. I was very happy with the level of service I had received from All My Sons Moving & Storage and was particularly impressed by Heladio and his moving team who handled my stuff. I would recommend them to a friend and would hire them again. When I initially called, I spoke to someone about an estimate for my request which was to hire movers and disposal services. The salesperson felt a bit too pushy. I spoke with the operations manager and he was a bit more laid back; he gave me a great estimate and I decided to move forward with them. The day-of, both teams showed up to my place and I had everything organized for both team to work at the same time. I had a complicated situation that needed both teams to pack up my place and then meet me at the storage unit for more moving and disposal, and finally, the movers were to meet me at one final (new) storage unit for unloading. What I expected to be complex went very smooth; both movers and disposers were done at the same time at my apartment and followed me to the second location to continue that portion of the job. I was very pleased to see that everything got done without a hitch. When I saw the final invoice, I was a bit sticker-shocked at first because a few items were on there that wasn't accurate. I spoke to a lead on the phone who assured it would be adjusted accordingly. A few days later, I spoke with an Operation Manager, Drew, who was very kind and refunded all appropriate areas to make the invoice exactly as he had estimated. DDG I used them for a small one bedroom move. They took 3+ hours to get everything loaded, that should have taken no more than one and a half hours. Basically juicing the time it took to get stuff loaded. After getting around to opening the boxes, that were boxes in boxes. I noticed an item missing, I wonder where it is now. It was a silk screened wooden portret with 101 who line...what movie from movies. it is very sentimental to me. They also tried to over charge me by $1000 too! I said no to that and they held my belongings for hours trying to get me to agree to pay the extra $1000. Nothing but a racket! It was the regional manager, who unloaded it with another guy. This all started on February 17 2025. I called and spoke with Chase. Chase offered me a quote of 159/hr, said there was no truck fee, no fuel charge, and that I would just pay the 159/hr. He said I had to book within the next day or two to lock in that rate and that HE would call me February 19. I waited and February 19 rolled around NO CALL FROM HIM. I called all my sons back February 24, and I spoke with Angelo. Angelo told me I could no longer get the 159/hr rate, but he could give me 199/hr. I should've never booked after these two interactions, but the quote was still lower than other places I shopped around for, so I booked on February 24, 2025 for my move on March 15, 2025. Angelo gave me the same information Chase did, so I assumed I was just paying the quote of 199/hr. Angelo said they would call me 3 days before the move to confirm. I gave Angelo all my inventory information for my one bedroom apartment. I gave the addresses to and from. On Thursday March 13 2025, all my sons called me asking for inventory of my apartment and my addresses. I explained I already gave this why wasn't it logged in the system, and the guy I spoked with said he didn't know, so I gave my info again. I also received a text earlier that day offering me a 10% discount to my move from a guy named Scott with all my sons. The guy who I spoke with on 3/13/25 then tried to tell me my quote was going to be 207/hr, and he was very confused when I told him I received a 10% discount offer and my quote was 199/hr NOT 207/hr. He reluctantly said he'll add it to my account. I was promised by 3 different people that I spoke with that 3 guys would be doing my move to help make the time move faster for my move. Saturday 3/15/25, moving day, rolls around. Only 2 guys showed up, one of them smoking what appeared to be a blunt as he was getting out of the truck. Thankfully, both guys took care of my stuff well, only a few broken wine glasses but I don't believe that was caused by them. However, they certainly did not have pep in their step to get my move completed in a timely manner. I've moved before and have had all my stuff from a one bedroom apartment moved in 3 hours, same inventory as I had on 3/15. This crew took 5 hours, and it was the closest location I've ever moved. When the guys went to unload my stuff, we had to do payment first. My move was 1571!!! They included a 10% discount and my deposit, so I paid 1471 on move in day, and 1571 total!! Way higher than the quote of just 199/hr. When I've moved before, I paid no more than 700 bucks for a good quality move for the inventory I have. They charged a travel time fee which they didn't disclose in the initial calls/booking. The management office/whoever books, needs to be more clear about a cost breakdown! I was also charged for materials! I have never used a moving company that charged me for tape. The guys weren't even using full rolls. They had tape left on the rolls but would use a new one to add to the total. Someone on move in day called me and took my payment. I couldn't not pay it but I certainly was unhappy with them not being more upfront about every little thing they charge you for when booking. I even reached out to your "wecare@allmysons" email TWICE that every manager comments on people's negative reviews to contact, but never heard anything back. It took 4 days for me to FINALLY get someone from management to send me a copy of my receipt with an itemized breakdown. They had the wrong email on file for me, after Angelo, when I booked read me back the email I gave him. Finally Tim fixed the email and sent me a copy of my receipt. Moving is stressful enough. Unexpected costs shouldn't add to the stress. Trying to get my receipt shouldn't have been that crazy. I should've been given a printed copy of my receipt ON move in day from the movers. It felt shady and sneaky. I heard one of the movers talking to his manager before I paid telling his boss about all the materials they used. It's not right that this is not made clear upfront. This company just wants your money, they don't even care about customer service and how they mislead people. I will never use this company again. And I will never recommend this company to anyone. My move took place a few years back and I see, by these most recent reviews they've gotten no better. Horrible doesn't quite measure my experience with them. I'll just give the bullet points. * They arrived late, no apology (not that that would have made a difference). * I, assisted with the entire move. I probably put as much on the truck as the crew. I'm a woman by the way. * Items were broken as they were getting them into the truck. * They couldn't fit my things in the truck they brought (even after a physical eval of my items before the move and had to repack it. * A manager came to assess after I called about this screw-up and somehow tried to blame me for their inaccurate estimate. When he got there he did not speak to me; instead, he talked to the crew, even though I was standing right there. * They was too tired to complete the move so they took my items to their facility but would send a crew to complete the job the following day. And get this - at no additional charge to me (Can't make this crap up). THIS IS WHERE IT REALLY GETS GOOD. * A different crew arrived at my house. This was their second move for the day so, yeah, they were tired too! * Most of my boxes went to one place in the house. When I checked on them after the crew left, I saw heavy boxes on top of boxes that were clearly marked, in RED, as FRAGILE. * Had I not looked inside the truck, when they said they were finished, they would have left with several of my items. * One of the crew hit on me. HARD. He was walking around my home with a fully visible ERECTION and a sizeable wet spot on the front of his gray sweatpants (trying not to be too graphic here but I'm sure you can understand my description). He had the gall to be angry/pouty for the remainder of the job because I didn't receive his advances. I don't understand how they've been in business this long. read more

Very unprofessional company. Their truck was driving recklessly on the expressway in rush-hour traffic. Large truck, cutting people off right and left and honking the horn again very unprofessional. read more

Worse moving company to hire. Staff is unprofessional and work at a snails pace. I had piece of personal property taken from me of high value and all my sons have done nothing about it. I spoke with two team members aboht a month ago and now can't get in touch with them. I would say they are an unprofessional moving company but professional crooks. Not as reliable as they seem. Price changes as they please. Customer service comes off as indifferent. At least we got the deposit back.

I scheduled a move in COlumbus Ohio for yesterday. In scheduling we mentioned the few items that we needed moved including a snake tank. When the movers arrived they asked for a walk through of the home. One of the movers mentioned that the other - a big, burly woman, was afraid of snakes. We immediately took our little corn snake that was in a small, closed container and put the container into the bathroom and closed the door. The movers then said they had to go get paperwork from the van. About ten minutes later they had not come back and we received a call from the main office in Dallas as we watched the movers drive away. They advised us that the mover was too scared to function! We advised that she would not even see the snake! We asked for other solutions such as allowing just the other mover to help as it was a small job or to switch her with another mover on a nearby crew. The dispatcher was completely unhelpful and just said that the move was cancelled. This is obviously completely unacceptable behavior ESPECIALLY since we advised them ahead of time that there was a snake!! read more

Communication is terrible. Was scheduled for an AM move confirmed the Friday prior to my Monday move. After calling dispatch wondering where the movers where I was told that they scheduled me for an afternoon move. Not what I agreed to. NO TIME WINDOW WAS THEN GIVEN. Told driver was 5 min away. Never showed. Also told that this was just sprung on them. I planned this weeks in advance! Finally a 2 man crew arrived at 3:40pm with 1 more man arriving 1 hour later and took until 930pm to finish a one bedroom apartment move. Movers were friendly and respectful but corporate policies are disgusting! WAS CHARGED DOUBLE of initial quote. Would never recommend to anyone!! read more
