That would have been enough to get them to my first level of peripatetic sainthood, hands down. But it gets better. A couple of years later, I stored my things at EZ Storage again in preparation for my next cross-country move (again with free pickup, thanks to a sweet student-moving deal). I'd already landed on the west coast when the moving plans changed from driving to shipping. Ray built a pallet, packed my things onto it, and helped with shipping logistics, for a very very nominal charge. Who does that?! Would I still have all my things without Ray and Sue? Probably... but maybe not. Would I be able to think about moving without flinching? Not a chance. Would I have such faith in humanity and the kindness of relative strangers? A resounding no! In short - Ray and Sue are local treasures. I don't think I've ever said that before about anyone, but they deserve it, and then some. I can't recommend EZ Storage highly enough.

We found this place online and were not disappointed. The service at the front counter was exceptional! Nicole was a rockstar and not only set us up with the best deal with utmost trust and confidence in this place, but she hooked me up with local coffee, shared with me some of the awesome things that I should check out in my new hometown, and had a great sense of humor. I needed all of that!! The storage unit is amazing and very secure and clean! The accessibility hours are wonderful and easy access for after office hours. When we returned a few days later to put more boxes in the unit, the employee was equally as fantastic and chill, and I remain impressed. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Now they are claiming that there will be another $200 late fee on top of that one. They are crooks and I reported them to BBB already. Do not ever use them!!

Let me break it down: * The manager coerced me into writing a 5-star review before I even got access to my unit or a lease contract. Spoiler alert: I was never given that lease contract. * I was hit with two foreclosure fees within two months, even though I was actively in communication with them about my account. * I was harassed daily by staff, being told I needed to come close my unit -- even after I had spoken directly with the district manager and scheduled a move-out date. * I went away for a month on military orders, and they still demanded I provide proof again, despite having already submitted documentation when I first signed up. Total lack of respect. * When I arrived to close the unit, the front desk employee Rachel made an unprofessional and inappropriate comment: "Oh, you are not what we expected you to look like." Not sure what that was supposed to mean, but it was rude and unnecessary. And the worst part: when I finally opened my unit, it was completely covered in mouse droppings, and many of my belongings were chewed through and ruined. I have photos of the damage. I was never informed of rodent problems, nor was I offered any pest control or help addressing the issue. After all of that, I still had to pay to close my unit. Here's the kicker: the district manager told me she would issue a refund and call me back while I was standing there. After waiting for 10 minutes, the front desk staff casually came back and said, "Yeah... that's not going to happen." No call. No refund. Just blatant dishonesty. Also, for context: I started renting at $30/month. That price mysteriously increased over time until I was paying over $100/month, with no real explanation or justification. This place is disorganized, dishonest, and unprofessional. I'm filing a complaint with consumer protection and exploring legal options. Special shout out to Herisha who was incredible at their job and made renting a new space easy and quick. Remember, as a general rule, storage rental facilities are largely unregulated which means they can raise your rent with 30 days notice to pretty much any amount they want and they know they have you on the hook because you won't want to relocate your stuff. If you get a quoted price online, lock it in for six month or a year by pre-paying if you can. ALSO remember - you can get your own rental unit insurance from any number of companies for half what the rental unit companies will charge you and bring in proof of insurance at the time you rent (but you MUST do it in person). ALSO ALSO remember - you can also bring your own secure lock and not pay $20 for one of their locks. Do all of the above and any smart reasonable manager or employee is going to make your rental process smooth and painless.

"To clean out the bed of an area of water by scooping out mud, weeds, and rubbish with a dredge." Yuck! Not very appealing... Dredge Harbor Marina, however, was a very welcoming and pleasant surprise. It's located in a very unassuming, small town USA. Dredge Harbor empties into the Delaware River. We had a great afternoon on our SUP exploring the area where the boats docked and even making our way near the Delaware. There was a bit of boat traffic and jet skiers in the River, so it was a bit too daunting for me to actually go into the River. Dredge Harbor was a nice change of pace compared to going to the Jersey Shore to SUP.
