Load Rite Trailers - No brake pad

Load Rite Trailers

Just wanted to post my recent experience with Load Rite. 2 years ago I had the leaf springs…read morereplaced on my 1987 Load Rite Trailer. I was taking my little 15 foot Whaler from Seaside Park out to Long Island to have the interior shot with Line-X. I didn't want to be they guy with a boat and broken down trailer on the George Washington Bridge, so I replaced the springs. A few weeks ago, taking the boat back to the ramp, 2 of the 3 leaves broke on the left side. I took it back to the dealer and was told sorry they are out of warranty. I called Load Rite, spoke to the warranty manager, after a little confusion, he agreed not only to replace the broken spring, but both springs and all associated hardware. He said "I can't say we've never had a broken leaf like you're describing, but it is pretty rare and I really want to get those springs back to the factory and see what caused the failure." I couldn't be more happy with the customer service Load Rite has provided, and thought they deserved kudos in a public forum. Two thumbs up for Load Rite

Do NOT use load rite trailers!…read more I am an Aussie customer who purchased and imported a new Aus-spec trailer. But beware... It looks like the local buyers have the same issues! From new it was missing parts, required a full rewire, had damaged and improperly installed brake lines that dumped all fluid on the road while towing, bunks covered with a cheap carpet that melted and damaged my brad new hull, shit quality components, shit attention to detail, and a lack of corrosion protection between dissimilar metals. I have plenty of photos of all of this if you'd like to see. All of this and yet it has a passed quality control sticker on it! Classic. Load rite is aware of the above issues and has been utterly hopeless at even attempting to resolve such issues... Their customer service strategy is to just ignore emails. Guarantee of good workmanship and warranty of such work isn't a thing with these guys. Not only do they build a crap product, but they also have no customer service too! After over a year worth of opportunity to resolve the issues, I've come to unfortunately write this review to prevent others from going through what I did. Steer clear, plenty of other great trailer builders out there... These guys aren't one of them!

May 2021 RV 2008…read moreMonaco Knight 38PDQ DP Problem Norcold 2010 dual fuel refrigerator. Leaking ammonia and fails to cool. Called more than a dozen RV dealers and repair centers and all could take me in for repair or the time to first available date was at least three months before or more before I could get a service date. No surprise it's spring and the RVer has been waiting all winter to get out there. We are full timers so a timely repair was Essential. Stoltzfus could give give a date six weeks out from when I called. I took it based on reviews from several sources. I arrived on the agreed date and time at Stoltzfus RV went to the receptionist. She effectively pulled up our appointment and handed us off the service advisor. We went over the problem, explained in detail my findings. The service advisor explained the up from Costs, their is a $150 trouble shooting fee that is then applied to the bill when the work is complete. I was told the repair would take one to two weeks. The RV went into the shop on Thursday. Friday afternoon I got a call with the trouble shooting and costs. All of that was clear and the advisor made it easy to understand and answered all my questions. The following Thursday I received a call from stoltzfus that the RV was ready to go so I arranged a pickup the next day. I have run the refrigerator through its operations the past week or so to be sure that it would perform perfectly before heading out on our summer run. Every one at Stoltzfus was courteous, respectful, and helpful. Even the guys working the yard would check if I had ever I needed. Ok bottom line on service 5 star.

As I was waiting for it to be done my rep and the mechanic come out and tell me I need brakes and if I wanted them to do it. I had hardly used the RV and the mechanic said that sometimes on GMC'S the brake controller is not right. Well I told them I would take it to my mechanic to have the brakes done. After I dropped the RV off at my mechanic ,they told me to come get it that I didn't need brakes . It was 3 or more years later that I needed brakes. Another incident : I had to have a new roof put on RV (over $10,000). About a year after it was done I went in for my forever warranty inspection and was told the roof needed new seals ($1200).How is this possible they just did the new roof less than a year ago. So, I had them redo seals on roof. Now less then a year later I am getting ready for a trip and my bed is wet. I go up on the roof and the seal on fan over my bed is severly cracked. Call General RV and let them know ( they only warranty seals for 3months). There answer was it was a rough year weather wise for seals. How about that for bullshit!!Every year must be a rough year for seal . It's either that or forbid I say maybe they don't know what they are doing at their work establishment. Needless to say I am going to let my forever warranty expire just so I don't have to deal with such incompetence and thievery. It a shame that we RVer's have to deal with companies like this. We have bought many cars, trucks, campers, etc in our life time and we have never, ever received…read morethe amount of customer service as Jon as provided to us in buying our first motorhome from him. I am not one to write reviews, so when I do, it means that it was certainly earned. From the first time that my husband talked to Jon on the phone, he realized that Jon is not just the owner, salesperson and maintenance person for RV's and boats, but that he is such a plethora of knowledge about everything. When we took the motorhome for a ride we were able to ask him questions about the engine, how it should drive, why it feels the way it does, etc. I can honestly say that a salesperson that sells campers would not know that much about the engine as well as the camper itself. Not only does he fix issues on the camper, but he works on the engine components as well. He checked everything over for us and gave us his honest opinion about what he would do and what doesn't need to be done at time (due to the mileage on the RV). All of the maintenance things for the engine and the generator were all done for us without even asking. There were things (some of them a few hundred bucks) that I wanted fixed or replaced and when I asked about it, they were fixed (I was willing to pay for them since we bought a used motorhome and I certainly didn't expect it to be included in the price of the motorhome). For example, the backup camera screen had a line through it, not anything crazy that would affect us not being able to see something, but I wanted to see how much it would be to fix it. He replaced that without even thinking about it. Someone replaced a switch for the steps and they didn't automcatically go in and out when you opened and closed the door when the engine was running, he fixed that because he didn't want to see us forget about the steps and have an accident. That is not something that typically happens when you buy something that is used. He is very responsive to calls, texts and emails. Before we left to pick up the motorhome he told us that he will be here for us for as long as we have our motorhome; that he doesn't disappear once you pull out of his parking lot, and I can say that I have already confirmed that. We have reached out several times with questions that we have had after we bought it and he has always helped us. We thought we knew just about everything when it came to camping and campers, but switching from a travel trailer and 5th wheel to a motorhome is a bit different. Before we left he went over every single button and how everything worked on the motorhome (that is when we realized we were dealing with a different scenario compared to a travel trailer and 5th wheel). Do yourself a favor, if you are in the market for something that Jon would sell, reach out to him even if he might not have exactly what you want on his lot. He travels to find stuff that he wants (and is VERY picky about what he buys) and I am sure he would do that for his customers if they are looking for something specific. Don't just drive by, stop on in; I guarantee you it will be worth the visit and the best customer service that you will ever get. Jon-thank you for everything, we are so appreciative for everything that you have done for us. We look forward to continuing the relationship that we have for when we need service and maintenance things for our motorhome.

On a Saturday, after going to all the big name RV dealers to no avail and calling a bunch of Mobile RV Repair Services, Jon was the standout and our savior - such a hard worker, a man of his word and best of all an outstanding mechanic and repair superstar. He not only got the slide in, he repaired the break in the electric wiring to the slide motor, so now we can live large for the next 5 weeks. This is not to mention what a nice man, charging a very fair and reasonable price. I can't say enough good things about Mainland & Marine Motor Sales. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
