Brought my bike to Mark after it sat for five years...He got it up and running like it was brand new at a fair price!

Looking for a trustworthy mechanic for my bike. It needs some repairs cosmetically due to going down, and some engine issues she runs well otherwise?

Gebhards is the way to go. Take your bike to that shop. I never had a issue at Gebhards. It's a great place for repairs, honest pricing.

I brought in my Harley to have my carburetor rebuilt, oil change, fix/replace broken cables, grips…read moreand replace a tire before I moved out of state he said I didn'tneed a tire becauseit went flat due to my rim lip was bent. I rode it for about a week and parked it because I went 70 miles on a full tank and he couldn't look at it before I left. Got to my new state and took it to a Independent Harley shop to have them just go through it. 1) carburetor wasn't rebuilt because it was actually dirty and broken. 2) oil wasn't changed because it was black. 3) rim was never bent and tire was actually bad. 4) replaced broken braided chrome with cheap black cables 5) replaced grips with what looked like cheap bicycle grips. 6) rear hub seals were bad and he had to have known because when you moved the bike after putting tire back on and tightening it up you would have heard the clicking noise. I hate to write this because he usually did good work and I always paid half up front when I dropped my bike up. On top of that I was actually the 4th bike in the shop and he had my bike for almost 3 1/2 months. Too long for not doing anything for the money I paid. It cost me $2,600 to get my bike back up and running correctly and fixing the ascetics at the new shopI went to.. Think twice before dealing with Dave.

They said a nest or something was in the air filter compartment or something like that. Seems to be a weird trend they have of not getting things done when they say they will. Bike ran fine but I don't like having my time wasted, especially when its that bullshit like "oh its almost done" or "oh just 20 more minutes". I was supposed to head down the shore that night - in the sunlight. Ended up not going till the next morning because I dont like riding at night. UPDATE: Dropped it off again a FIVE WEEKS AGO. I moved out of Philly and could do without it for a week, maybe two. 2 weeks go by - nothing. I call and I get the "I was out all week and I was sick". 3 weeks goes by - "we had a death in the family" FIVE WEEKS GO BY so I call and ask (its STILL not done) and I get "my kid was in a car accident". ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???? The kicker is, is that all it needed was a tune up (that they didn't do right the first time) and a new battery. 5 goddam weeks for a tune up and a battery. These people are straight trailer trash and honestly I don't know how they stay in business.
