Not only do they provide the best storage prices in the area but if you need to rent a U-Haul Truck they have that too. The customer service is far and away the reason I would keep going back and I would recommend to my family and friends. Donna was GREAT and her co-worker (I'm sorry but his name slipped my mind) were friendly and made you feel like you were a friend more than a customer. I will be back and I'd advise any and everyone who is looking for a storage facility or a truck rental to please, please check them out. Can't say enough on how pleased I was with the customer service. Great Place...

I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau, my insurance company, and to any and all business review agencies like Yelp. I must say that I am leaving now that the new management has created an atmosphere of distrust, dishonesty, and lies. When I first moved my trailer, I was very happy with Donna Strickland managing the property because she was very quick to notify someone if there ever was an issue, concern, or question about my property. Since the new management has taken over, we have experienced property damage that they refused to report. It was only found after we checked on the trailer. We were told that it had been that way for over a year, which is an outright lie. I had been to my property in January 2022 to retrieve items from the trailer and there was no problem at that time. We were then told that we did this, which again was an outright lie. Our property was hit by another vehicle and the management never informed us or took a report from the other vehicle involved. They are now claiming that cameras, which were in place are not working. They are refusing to take responsibility for the damage since they failed to report the incident. They have been dishonest in the handling of this matter and have lied every time I question them about this matter. We were told that a report would be sent to Corporate but that was over a month ago and still, no one has contacted us about this matter. I will be happy to inform anyone that has property at Fort Knox Storage in Columbia, Maryland to reconsider and move it as soon as possible. I would NEVER recommend anyone use this facility until the management has changed. This is 100% a dishonest business and they are 100% dishonest in their business dealings. Thanks, Joanne Wuwer-Saukas

Poor management and communication…read more I was an EZStorage customer for several months. The #1 reason I went with them was because they said they cater to the business person and accepted deliveries. Their facilities were safe and clean, not sketchy like other storage places. I was getting deliveries on a weekly basis and all was fine for months. Then all of a sudden, I got a notice that a delivery was refused and UPS was sending it back! I was really confused. This has only happened before when UPS is delivering after hours or on weekends. This was a weekday in the middle of the day. I called EZStorage who said as of that day it was a "corporate decision" to no longer sign for packages. They did not send me any notification, call me or email me. I found out only through my Amazon.com notice. I run a business and deliveries are highly important. My staff was left without supplies due to EZStorage's "corporate decision". I'm now left scrambling to move and change the deliveries that are already in progress. Which isn't easy if you have ever called UPS/Fedex to reroute something. The UPS Delivery driver told EZStorage that I need to sign something and have it on file with them. However, UPS tells me EZStorage is a commercial location and someone has to sign for it. I'm totally screwed and due to no warning from EZStorage. Worse is that they changed this policy and I paid for my month with the expectation of having deliveries accepted. I demand a refund from them for the time they made this corporate decision to the end of the month because it's highly unfair for me to have to pay when they changed what they are offering. Their rates are also higher than other storage locations. I also got a climate controlled unit but I was sweating bucketing so I doubt it's really climate controlled. They lie about what they offer and I would not recommend them to anyone. Also, when I find out about this policy is when a package of 8 large items is in transit. The only option UPS will give me is picking them up at their facility. As if I have a vehicle that fits 8 large items. They have made my life inconvenience and cost my business money and time. HORRIBLE

They followed through on this and then some. Within 24 hours, I received a multiple phone calls, an updated claim and satisfactory terms and conditions that more than satisfied the issues I outline below. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I do not write reviews on Yelp, but Clutter unleashed a different beast. I used Clutter for over a year in DC. I had a positive experience with moving my stuff into storage, but they absolutely butchered getting my stuff back. Here's what happened, with accompanying pictures below. - I had wrapped my mattress using a mattress protection bag prior to being put into storage. When I saw my mattress in the storage return from Clutter, the bag had been ripped and a corner of the mattress had been dirtied. - A Clutter mover recklessly wheeled my dresser into the corner of a doorway, shattering a bottom section of the dresser and scattering wood pieces in the hallway that I cleaned myself. - When moving my bed frame into my room, the Clutter mover hit the bed frame on the wall, damaging it. My building said their vendor would charge $200 for fixing the wall. - I opted to store my guitar amplifier, a Fender Blues Junior IV. I loaded the amplifier into a box at the loading dock, placing multiple "fragile" tags on it. I recall a Clutter mover scanning the amplifier into the system. The amplifier did not show up in the system and I did not receive it during my storage return. When I asked for an original itemized list of every item picked up, they did not provide it, instead pointing to the valuation process for assessing my claim. I have every reason to believe they broke the amp or delivered it to someone else. If you are going to use them, then buy the most expensive protection plan if you're going to store valuables. But that would put the price on par with other storage companies that will actually do a job of storing your valuables. TLDR: Clutter is awful. I will never use them again. It's pretty reassuring to see the many others who agree with me. Believe us and use someone else.

DO NOT USE CLUTTER IF YOU EVER WANT YOUR STUFF BACK…read more And this is coming from a girl who never yelps and the few times I have yelped; it's usually to give a compliment. -- but, never again with clutter. I live in DC and tried used clutter. They came to my apartment and pick up my items. All was fine until I tried to get my items returned. Then I tried to schedule to get my items back from clutter and all of a sudden they would not deliver my items back to the exact same address that they picked up from. Moreover, you can't even talk to a someone on-site or even near-site. They immediately connect you with a call center they have out of the country which is so far away and removed from the on-site location that you can tell they just have somewhat of a script to go by and cannot actually help you with anything beyond what's in their script of options. It's extremely frustrating and I cannot emphasize enough that I will never again use them.
