So here's how they absolutely rape you. They quote…read moreliterally half of what the balance will be (all in). They load up, using MUCH more time and materials than needed. To add to the bill. Let's put it this way they used over 4 hours to "pack" but less than 2 to unpack and leave - one of the three guys I paid for wasn't even working after he showed up 40min late. The ONLY reason I don't give a single star is because the two poor guys who actually did all the work (one mainly) were very respectful. In all honesty only one piece of furniture was damaged (that I am aware of at this time). Save your money DO NOT USE these rip offs. Thank God Amex is good I'm filing a chargeback I know I'll be protected.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They charged $366 for fuel, for an 8 mile drive. While also being paid…read more$219/hr for their driving. You set up the move with Kim, who is very sweet. The movers come out, who are awesome at first. When you all arrive at the new home, Scott gives them a price, and they hold your stuff until you pay whatever they came up with, over 2k!! $366 charge for gas! 8 mile drive. Scott the Scmuck is who answers complaints and is unwilling to reduce the price. He had a IDGAF attitude. Very unprofessional. These guys dumped the boxes and left in a hurry. For over $2000 they should have unloaded the boxes, at the very least they could put the clothes that are on hangers, on a rack in the closet. But the worst part of their scam is the individual movers ask you to rate their performance on the company's website, and the ratings are representative of their individual performance, not rate the company. This is why you see any positive reviews. They convince you you're reviewing the guys that come out instead of the company. The company is horrible. They privately contract groups of movers, then tell them the incentive to hire them is by the review left online. The movers convince us the review is for them, not the company. Truly a horrible company

I am doing a two-stage move with Two Men and Truck, and the first stage was amazingly simple and stress free, from making the reservation to delivery and unloading. The company sent 4 guys to my house to move my stuff to two different locations. They arrived on time, introduced themselves and got right to moving things into the truck. They handled all of my furniture and boxes with great care. They were very efficient which I very much appreciated since this was an hourly rate move. During the move, all of the guys were friendly and very easy to work with. They asked questions to be sure they were getting things on the truck to go to the right place. There was not a single moment of worry or stress during the entire move. At one point, the Company owner and one of the managers stopped in to do a spot check and see how everything was going. I was very impressed that they took the time to do this and that they were genuinely interested in how the move was going. The second stop of this move was to a storage unit. That storage unit is perfectly organized - I've never seen a storage unit so impeccably arranged. I can easily see and get to all of my stuff! Overall, this company did a fabulous job for me. I am doing the second stage of this move shortly and have no qualms whatsoever about using Two Men and a Truck for that move as well. In fact, I am looking forward to it. Who'd have thought? One last thing - my sister will be moving soon, and based on my great experience, will be using Two Men and a Truck. These guys are great!

He never did, then when I finally got ahold of someone, a woman answered and told me he died. I'm not saying that was a lie, but as such I have her 2 months to get back to business and try to figure out what she was going to do about my table. That never happened and when I finally did get ahold of someone after the 2 months, they answered, acted like they couldn't speak English, and blocked me! The main reason I hired movers in the first place was to move this table and the matching couch table because they're very heavy! They didn't listen when I told them that they needed to move them first, so after moving the couch, loveseat, recliner, and matching table, theiy were hot and tired! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! DO NOT HIRE THEM!

I can not recommend Blue Skies Movers. Everyone was very nice, but the moving experience was not up…read moreto my expectations at all. My movers were supposed to arrive between 12-2pm (with the coordinator I spoke to saying it would most likely be 12), but they did not arrive until after 4pm. They were nice guys; but they didn't handle my stuff with care. I have nicks and a huge new scratch on my dresser -- I should've seen the red flag when they didn't wrap it (I've moved this dresser many times before and movers have always wrapped it) but just wanted to get the move over with. This dresser has stayed in perfect condition for several years and several moves, so I'm a bit heartbroken. I also have a hugeeeeee rip on my mattress (picture also attached). I'm unsure of how this will impact support and may have to buy an entirely new one. Throughout the process, I just felt very uneasy about how they were handling my stuff. They broke another one of items as well as a hallway light in my new apartment. I don't know if I have any recourse here because I noticed these things after they left, and don't have any before pictures. However, I'll try to get in touch with Blue Skies on Monday and update my review.

Once from Indiana to Baltimore City, and the second from Baltimore City to Michigan. The first time I moved with them, the moving coordinator I worked with was very communicative, checked in with me throughout the moving process (including when my items were being picked up), and was conscious of my anxiety levels. The second time I moved, I needed to contact Stephanie to remind her of upcoming deadlines, follow up with her when she said that she would get back to me and failed to do so, and was also unprofessional at times, uttering profanities like "retarded" in reference to the move itself when on the phone with her. What's more is that one of my inventory items never even arrived to me. They launched an audit to find the lost items but came back empty, so I guess one of their workers just walked off with it. The pay out on the audit also was less than half of what the items were valued at. Some of the items that were lost can't be replaced. Like how does something just walk off? You're a moving company that specializes in moving things, and you're one of the most expensive brands in the market with guaranteed service. On a positive note, the people who picked and dropped off my belongings were very professional, on time, and handled everything like glass. Don't think I'll work with Perry again.

This has been, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company…read more The problems started the day before our scheduled move. The company called to tell me they didn't have a driver and wanted to postpone the pickup. I explained that our flights were already booked for the following evening and that postponing was extremely difficult. Nevertheless, at around 6:00 PM that evening, they emailed to say they still couldn't find a driver, essentially forcing us to delay the move. We had no choice but to reschedule our flights, incur additional expenses, and postpone our travel, all because the company failed to honor its commitment. We had also made it very clear that the movers needed to arrive no later than 8:00 AM on the new date because carpet repair technicians were scheduled for 8:30 AM and a professional cleaning crew was arriving at 11:00 AM. The company assured us they would arrive by 8:00 AM. Instead, no one showed up until after 9:15 AM. The delay forced our contractors to wait, resulting in additional charges. The most upsetting part happened during loading. Our daughter's viola, worth about $4,000, was accidentally loaded onto the truck. Because it is a delicate wooden instrument that can be permanently damaged by prolonged exposure to summer heat, we immediately asked the crew leader to retrieve it. He assured us that once the truck reached the warehouse, they would unload it, locate the viola, and ship it to us via FedEx. We trusted his word and allowed the move to continue. Six days later, the shipment still has no driver assigned. Despite multiple phone calls and emails explaining the urgency, the company has refused to retrieve the instrument or expedite the whole delivery. They even told me that the crew leader's promise "doesn't count." Meanwhile, the truck is sitting in extreme summer temperatures, putting our daughter's instrument at serious risk of irreversible damage. Today, they stopped answering my phone calls altogether. Instead, they replied an email by telling me to contact United Van Lines about its delay policy, effectively passing the responsibility elsewhere instead of resolving the problems they created. My family has been patient, cooperative, and reasonable throughout this process. We rearranged our travel plans to accommodate the company's scheduling failure, yet they have repeatedly failed to keep their promises or communicate responsibly. I am a professor and clinician who cares for cancer patients. In both my professional and personal life, honesty, integrity, and keeping the promise are fundamental values. It is deeply disappointing to experience such poor communication, broken promises, and lack of accountability from a company entrusted with transporting our family's belongings. By now, I still have no idea when our household goods will arrive or what condition they will be in. If you're considering this company, I strongly encourage you to think twice. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.
