Friendly and professional, Jim was here in no time to do my estimate. On Saturday I got an early morning text with a status on where the movers were. 20 minutes later they were here. Friendly and again professional, four young men, Eric, Damion, Corey and Zack. It was in inside move from one apt. to another and they packed me up, moved me and unpacked me. They asked where to unpack things and did so with care for my belongings and put everything right where I needed. Literally unpacked me right into where I needed things to go!!!!!! I have a display case of cat figures and ceramic clowns and collectibles on care bears and rainbow brite LOL (a kid at heart); and they gently unpacked those items and neatly displayed them on the showcase shelf. I was in such shock because the diaplay looked better than the original set up I had!!!! Eastern Moving & Storage is awesome and they have such personalities that they make the move enjoyable! The movers were kind and respectful, but numerous things where broken from not being secured…read morecorrectly in the truck, including a very expensive family heirloom. Additionally I had a few shelves that didnt fit on the 1st truck. The lead mover told me it was ok he could just add them on the second truck without charging since they had to bring the truck anyways. Because he told me I wouldn't get charged, I canceled the u haul I had and let them take the items. The owner told me to bad about the broken stuff, I should have gotten the insurance and also charged me for the second truck. If you dont want a bait and switch on price and you value your stuff, I would recommend 2 guys and a truck. At least they are a major company that can afford to stand by their work.

The value is great for the money you get 3 months of free rental on certain storage units. There's a truck you can use when you first move in for free I believe she told me within the first two weeks of moving in. Because it is a new facility there's not a lot of traffic when you come. I usually come during the week if I'm off and someone is here before they close at 5:00 if not I come on Saturdays before 1:00 before the person who works here is gone just because it's kind of creepy and if I do have to come while there's no one here working I usually bring somebody with me. Other than that it's a great location it's very convenient to where I live and like I said it's very clean. I forgot to mention that they do have flatbeds that you can use when you come also an app so that way you don't have to Fumble with the keypad you can just put the app on your phone and just scan it in front of keypad and it will let you in automatically without you having to remember your key code.

They admit it was an error, but say that I must dispute the charge with my bank. Neither the bank nor I made the error. Why can't the business fix it? Another example of a business with no care or concern with how it appears to a customer.
