Jennifer and Anthony were amazing! Great customer service; kind, helpful and efficient service. Jennifer went above and beyond to assist me and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable even on a rainy day. Jennifer was kinda enough to drive me in the golf cart around the property showing me different options because the original unit I booked for online was smaller than I anticipated. She was understanding and accommodating with me; assisting me along the way answering all my questions. When an issue occurred with my gate code Anthony was quick to fix the problem with a great attitude. It's people like these two we need more of in this world, genuine and kind. 10 out 10 would recommend to utilize this location solely based on customer service. Last but not least, the property is immaculate clean! Anthony does a great job maintaining the property! I have had my share of experiences with storage units and I never felt more confident with storing my belongings here. read more

I have called multiple times to try to cancel a unit I have never used and they refuse to call you back and they continue to charge. They refuse to answer any phone calls and the answering machine says that a manager will call you back as soon as possible. Don't hold your breath as that will never happen! I called ten times, each time leaving instructions to call me back and cancel the storage that I have never used. Nothing!!! Absolutely nothing! Then I contacted the headquarters! They don't have a phone number but you can live chat with somebody. If you do contact them via the "chat" function, I suggest you not mention contacting the attorney general when they refuse to give you your money back that you should have never been charged as you canceled your storage via answering machine as this is the only contact for the storage...Because if you do mention the attorney general who should know about this, they will shut the chat window on you stating that they can't talk to you anymore now that you've threatened legal action! Worst mistake of my life renting here. I will be gathering the things that I have in my original storage unit and never use them again. This should have zero stars read more

Several storage units were broken in to at this facility - one if them mine. Their hours are reduced due to construction making it easier for thieves to access the units than the renters. You can no longer enter through the (steel) front gate with an access code - but rather through a chain link fence on a side street - which is evidently as easy to cut through as the hasp on my unit. When I asked the person who notified me of the break-in what the company plans to do to increase security and prevent this from recurring, he had no answer. Assuming this company monitors their Yelp reviews, I pose the same question publicly: what security measures are you planning to implement - if any - and when do you plan to implement them? Exceptional security my ass - there weren't even any security cameras near my unit. If you value your belongings store them elsewhere. This dump is too close to the homeless encampments on the Santa Ana river. read more

I highly recommend this place as I have been to other storage places in the surrounding area but none compare to this one. It was very fast and easy to move in the same day. The guys that work here are nice but the corporate rules are so bad. They continually raise the rent on you. If you fall behind, God forbid, they want to make it impossible to catch up. Partial payments accepted, however it won't stop the sale of your whole life. They will just sell your stuff. In less than a year, my 5x5 went from $50 per month to $85 per month. Tried to pay 75% of the bill, but my stuff would be sold anyway. 60 year old lady- my job moved to Florida and it's not easy getting a new job. All I had in this world, of no commercial value, is going to be gone. And the buyer will throw it away cause it is only of value to me. Don't rent here. The rent increases alone are outrageous. I must add that my son and I both stored things at this place for about 3 years with no late pay problems. Super convenient unless there is a Ducks game or Angels game, which adds traffic. read more

Within one minute of confirming my reservation on their website I received a call from Wendy. She called to ensure my reservation was correct and to answer any questions I had. I arrived later that day, meeting both Wendy. who was extremely helpful and very friendly. The units are all on one story, very clean, and very convinient. Great facility and fantastic Customer Service all around from the inital callback after I made my reservation online to the end experience on check-in day. Josh was awesome with us, very informative and professional. A young lady also called me via phone but I forgot her name, she was very kind and helpful with all my questions I had. It's a SCAM! They use a low price to lure you in and then a few months later they raise your rate with only 30 days notice. They won't give you a reason why they say it's due to "demand" and it will happen within the first 1-4 months of being there! Be aware!! read more

Getting a reservation here was fast and easy. Josh and Eddie have been very friendly and helpful, getting me just the right unit(s) that I needed. The facility is very conveniently located, with easy access to all units, wide roads, good security. It's so much better than any other storage place I've tried in the past. I was out of town on and off for several months and every time I called with an inquiry, the staff was patient, helpful and made suggestions that were beneficial to me, not just their business! Am I pleased with my experience with Extra Space; the answer is "NO". I have occupied at least two of the largest spaces with these two properties (State College/Adams St) sense I believe 1990 or there about. During that time the properties did however change hands. However, my last experience here just a few days ago was not at all pleasurable or professional. I stopped by the office September 30th to discuss with Josh the possibility of downsizing the size of my current parking spot (#654, 55' long) to a smaller parking space. Josh went into his computer and told me by downsizing from my current 55' to say a 35' or 32' I would save at least $100 a month. Josh went on to explain that at that time there were no spots of that size available. I continued the conversation so I could explain that this change over would be very soon, but I did not know exactly what day. As it turned out I stopped by the very next day October 1st to rent a smaller spot if one was available. I went into the office and talked to Josh again about the change and he informed me that the only available spot was a 22' parking spot number 604. I told Josh that I needed to go ahead and take that smaller spot because the sale of my trailer was finalized. Josh proceeded with feeling out the paper work and then he told me that the new rent was going to be $144. Of coarse I immediately asked why such a difference in cost, I pointed out that the previous quote just one day earlier was between $80 & $90 based on two different sizes of parking spots both larger than the one he was about to rent to me. His answer was the company recognized the fact that it was their last spot to rent so they raised the rent. My opinion is this is not the way a good customer should be treated and someone should recognize and consider the loyalty of our business. I own a Corporation and yes we do rent from you however we have several locations for manufacturing our products we sell world wide, we would never treat any of our customers large or small in this manor. read more

It was very easy to get a reservation here and Josh and Eddie were most helpful in my decision as to the size I needed. It is conveniently located and has easy access to the units. The only thing I would suggest is having lighting IN the units. I have a back unit and going from sunlight to dark was hard to see at times. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the location, security and easy access roads. read more
