I was a little surprised by the price which is why I dropped a star. It was quoted a tiny bit high but still around the competition (most quotes came out to $180-280), but was completed higher than competitors in the end. That being said, I don't know if the actual price from competitors would have been higher than their quotes. For transparency here, I paid a $65 service fee plus $55 per house lock. The mailbox was a higher charge at $125. I was quoted $200-300 (probably assuming 3 locks rather than the 4 I ended up needing); it came out to about $410 plus tax. The result is the same. I have a fully rekeyed home and mailbox. Service was excellent. The vehicle was well marked and the Johnny was very professional and easy to work with.

The striker was being held by two garbage metal pieces instead of a normal strike plate deadlatch. There is no excuse for this. I then called Ben, the owner/manager, and that was a condescending speech asking me why I waited so long to tell him. Bottom line and I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be going back and neither should you. I'm updating my review because I just spoke with the owner. He just read my review and told me the garbage pieces holding on my plate came with the lock. Yeah, right! He didn't like my review and said he doesn't want to do business with me in the future. Is this someone you want to deal with? I think definitely not!

Before the installation, I shared my concerns below with the sales person/installer: 1. The size of the inwall speakers the recommended would not likely reproduce the full range of sound desired (especially midrange frequencies) 2. The soundstage produced by the front three speakers needed to anchor vocals to the faces onscreen - not localized to a speaker (especially not to the center channel located below screen). 3. I wanted clean but very strong bass performance that you could feel but not localize to a point in the room. After the installation I received a full demo and sure enough - they failed on all three points. - There is minimal midrange reproduction - The voices are localized on the center channel speaker (despite adjustments) - The powered subwoofer cost over $1,000, but lacks any real impact and it is easy to place where it is in the room I spent time afterwards with the installer sharing my concerns and asking for adjustments to be made. He made some efforts, but the equipment and configuration still produces very, very thin sound reproduction. There is no full range of deep rich sound in action movies (vehicle engines, explosions, etc.). Music on soundtracks sounds like it is playing out of a hand held radio. I told him I was not satisfied and not happy. All he could offer was to sell me additional speakers (left and right tower cabinet speakers and a second subwoofer), and he would give me credit back for two of the in wall speaker The amp is likely not adequate - should have gone with something higher current (Denon, Marantz or similar?). I trusted my money with their expertise/recommendations, and really feel like I failed to pick the right Home Theater company to accomplish a simple HT set up. The room is a dedicated HT room, only 14'x21' with 10' ceilings. I should have done more research. Lastly - on a personal note, I believe how an installer approaches "wire management" (see photos - no methodology) is an indicator of their attention to detail what standard they set for themselves. There is also a photo of their teeny tiny "premium" in wall speaker.

Recently we needed additional copies of the key for a new front door that apparently requires an unusual blank. I tried Walmart, and the people there sent me to a hardware store that also did not have the correct blanks. I then tried using my cellphone to find a nearby locksmith but discovered that many no longer have a physical location, despite what their ads imply. That I happened upon Extra Locksmith was just good luck, because we saw their office when we were eating at a nearby restaurant. The woman there who helped me agreed that the key was unusual but found a blank that she thought would work. She made one copy but wouldn't even charge me for it. She wanted me to go home and try it, and it did work. When I returned to have more copies made, I was surprised at how little they cost. I bought some blank transponder keys for my older Mazda Tribute on Amazon. I had the two original keys and was going to try the "in car" programming of the new keys, but Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace refused to cut the new keys for me. Another locksmith wanted to charge me five times as much just to cut the keys. Manuela wasn't sure the in-car programming would work, but she cut the keys for me and they both fit my car perfectly. Lost my keys to my Ford truck when I was at the Galleria, and when I called around they were the only place that had the correct key fob in stock. Had a problem with my shops electrical box , failed inspection few times because of that , so needed a fast service. Saw extra locksmith and decided to ask them for help, they came out here and were very fast to install a lock on my electrical box. Price is also very reasonable. We could not have asked for a better experience. Our front door deadbolt failed and could not be locked from the outside. Eli was very flexible to accommodate our schedule and replaced the faulty part and also re-keyed the lock so we could keep our original set! I just want to have this problem resolved and the owner rectify and take pride in their business to the community by resolving this defective key because I "abuse" the use of it. That is because, as most of us know, going to a locksmith can be quite costly. It is that way, I believe, because locksmithing is a profession that requires specialized training, licensure, and insurance. This past week I had a need to have a duplicate "smart key" fob programmed to my recently purchased new, used vehicle that came with only one fob. Against my better judgment and with the hope of saving some money, I purchased a "ready to be programmed" fob off of a popular auction website. The fob itself was noticeably lighter than the OEM fob and was considerably cheaper; like $175 cheaper. Anyhoo, I took my Chinese-made, reverse-engineered fob to Advanced Locksmith to have it programmed. Before going, I called a received a quote from Gage one of the shop's technicians. Upon my arrival, Gage promptly went to work! While in the process of attempting the programming, and after the programming failed, Gage involved another technician, Nebiat. As the efforts to program my fob met with additional failed attempts, Nebiat and Gage explained one of the pitfalls with purchasing fobs over non-OEM websites is, that sometimes the fobs are locked from being previously programmed and therefore not usable. Much to my dismay, I believed my fob to be just such a fob. With that, Nebiat offered a new fob purchase from Advanced Locksmith. One that Nebiat assured me would accept the programming. Of course, purchasing this new fob would be expensive and I was not looking forward to having to pay so much money on such short notice. Nebiat was very understanding and was kind enough to offer the fob at a discount, for my being a veteran of the armed forces. I was prepared to purchase the new fob when Nebiat offered to try the programming of my Chinese-made fob once more. As he attempted the programming, he recognized the problem to be with my truck having already programmed into its memory, the maximum number of fobs. Nebiat was then able to clear the computer's memory of programmed fobs and successfully program my cheaper fob! Yaaay!!! I was elated and grateful for Nebiat's willingness to go the extra mile and put customer service over profit. Thank you Nebiat and thank you Nebiat and Gage for giving me a great customer experience to share on this platform with my fellow Yelp*ers!!
