The mailbox was a higher charge at $125. I was quoted $200-300 (probably assuming 3 locks rather than the 4 I ended up needing); it came out to about $410 plus tax. The result is the same. Months ago, the door's striker plate began hitting against the door's striker in such a way not to allow the latch to retract. The striker was being held by two garbage metal pieces instead of a normal strike plate deadlatch. There is no excuse for this. I work nights and rely on my door to be unlocked by the time I get in the car. To accuse me, a customer, of "abusing" a remote key is totally passing off the problem on the customer! I just want to have this problem resolved and the owner rectify and take pride in their business to the community by resolving this defective key because I "abuse" the use of it.
