Wow! When I found out we would need to move out of our house while we had floors replaced from water damage, I was not thrilled. We have moved several times in the past and have had bad experiences with moving companies. I was so happily surprised when our insurance company hired Excel to pack out our house and then move us back in 2 weeks later. Recently experienced fire damage to my home which included removing and packing all home contents from 4 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms, home office, bonus room, living room, formal dining room, and kitchen. As you can image all the emotions that come with removing personal items, handling fragile dishes and glass, lifting heavy furniture, gym equipment and having to rely on an outside company to remove and secure your items, I was especially thankful with the support, organization, and experience that came with using Excel Restoration Contents. My interactions with their Contents Specialist, Mario M., provided a clear outline of the process of removing, inventory, cleaning and unpacking home contents. Next the Crew leaders, Hector V., Tino O., (and Andres) would call prior to arrival with an ETA always keeping me abreast of what was going on. When it was time to return the contents back home the team made sure to cover the carpet and hardwood floors prior to unloading the boxes. The team worked efficiently to make sure all contents were carefully unpacked and put in place. During the unloading process, all materials such as boxes, paper, tape, and floor coverings were removed and hauled away. It is wonderful to be back home and have everything look the same as before...but better! Excel restoration provided pack out services moving out the entire downstairs after our first floor flooded completely. They were extremely diligent and professional. They packed everything up and even wrapped the furniture and then took everything away for storage until the repairs were completed. When it was time to return everything they were able to accommodate our schedule just before Christmas and move us back in. We had the A team they could not have been better! We had two projects and both were completed beautifully, in a timely fashion, and taking care not to cause any damage. Paul and his team are so helpful and responsive. We had a water damage at our house due to a faulty fire sprinkler head. Paul was able to coordinate inventory immediately, and send out his team the very same week. His team was very professional and detail-oriented. After the inventory, the insurance company somehow assigned the damage items disposal to another vendor. That vendor was not responsive and very difficult to coordinate. Because of this, our renovation project was delay. I reached out to the insurance company and requested Excel Restoration as the vendor for the items disposal. We had a very large fire that destroyed a good portion of our house. Everything we owned was taken out of our house by Excel restoration. Our dinning room furniture sat in water for days due do to the firemen having to spray tons of water trying to get the fire out. Excel returned our furniture looking brand new. If you look at my profile, you will see I rarely write a review. However, I had to write a great review for Excel Contents Restoration and especially for Arlin and her team. My home was damaged due to the unit above flooding into mine and Excel Restoration came to help me pack up and move my entire belongings so that the damage could be addressed. I was definitely not looking forward to the move, but thank goodness for Arlin M. (Crew Leader), Paul (Estimator), and the entire team that consisted of Gerardo, Sergio,Emeterio, Martha, Maria, and Mara (sorry for any spelling mistakes). The crew was not only so efficient and so careful with my belongings, but they were so helpful and friendly to me and my husband. I felt like they treated my things better than I even treat them! In addition, they were so honest and had my best interest at heart. They kept bringing me items that they thought would be valuable to me or that I might need while I stay in temp housing (money, credit cards, documents, jewelry etc). Not only was the team great at their job, but they were so cohesive as team in terms of helping each other, being kind to each other, and it brought a positive energy to my home. Excel Restoration was hired by our home insurance company after we filed a claim due to a water leak. We were required to move everything out as our entire flooring was being removed and changed. Excel Restoration was responsible for doing all of the moving both in and out of the home. With the help of Arlin, Mark, Martha, David, Mara, and Paul from Excel Restoration they were able to do a whole four bedroom home in about a day and a half to move it into storage pods and about another day or so at the end to move it all back into the home. They did a fantastic and professional job wrapping everything up and packaging them in boxes as well as putting them back into their respective places. They made a difficult process much easier for us. We were able to move back into our home without difficult or hassle when the work on the home was completed. They also were very communicative with us throughout the whole process which made us feel comfortable and stress free. This company was contracted by my fire insurance company to take care of all contents in my house when it had a fire last March. Paul the manager was great from the beginning; he was professional, responsive to inquiries and directed his workers efficiently in packing up, storage, delivering / setting up what was requested to my temporary housing, and then came to pick them up with the rest of of the contents to my house when it was restored. They worked with me in terms of scheduling, on time delivery and set up, replace one missing item, and came back to fix the refrigerator door after I encountered problem with it. Imagine coming home and finding two floors of your house flooded. So, in order for all the repairs to be made, all of my furniture and all of the contents of drawers and closets had to be removed. Excel came in and did it in one day. They cataloged everything precisely and worked with me to determine the value of the non-salvageable items. They sent my classic mid century modern chairs to be restored by Scott Hayward and he did a great job. But it was later that they really shined. I wanted a few items returned that, although declared damaged beyond repair, were heirlooms....for example, a LA Dodger wastebasket that belonged to my late father. Maria made sure that it was all returned. When it came time to return my furniture and all of the contents, Hector and his crew, (Luis, Rudy, Lorena, Rosario, and Irma) returned everything magically to its exact, proper place...right down to the right shelf and drawer. Simply incredible. They did a great job..one of the ladies actually cleaned my bathroom before leaving...like a loving mother. I would recommend Excel anytime this sort of disaster strikes you.
