Oh my, this is amazing food. Located on N Carson Street it's difficult to see the sign if you're coming from the south. But so worth any effort. I had the hangover breakfast. (Hangover not necessary) Sourdough sandwich with eggs, pancetta, arugula, house made aioli & OMG is it great. Also comes with amazing (seasoned!) hash browns. My mouth waters just thinking about it. My better half had Huevos Rancheros and raved about it as well. Service was attentive without being pushy and the high ceiling made it a lot quieter than the 'alien' place around the corner. Others have said it before, so I'll parrot it. This is our new best breakfast place. read more

Decided to try Eve's Eatery after church on Sunday morning, and am so glad! The food is fresh and flavorful, service (Madison) is friendly and the environment is welcoming! Everything is prepared to order, so food service takes a little bit longer, and they state that on the menu. There are vegan, vegetarian and GF options, and the kitchen is very accommodating for other diets, as needed. Portions are generous (depending on your appetite and what you order), so a larger, heavier meal would easily feed two adults. Sundays are currently offering BOGO mimosas for one person, so that's fun! My hubby had the avocado toast (finished it), and I ordered the build your own omelet (brought half home). Honestly such a good addition to the Carson City food options. We had breakfast on our first visit and 10/10 would recommend. My server was a little on edge with making an iced latte, but it came out really good- she rocked it! My boyfriend and I got similar dishes lol but I wanted something that would be filling for my morning. The Zeke omelette was a great choice, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. The ambiance is relaxed and cool, the music is subtle in the background and not too noisy. The decor of the place really complimented the layout and the wall of flowers was hard not to look at lol In the back is the pasta station. I haven't had the pasta but I feel like it would be super tasty. You can get the kit to go (I think) and make it at home with fresh pasta, sauce, protein, and a salad. I have wanted to try this place for a long time. I tried it at the taste of down town Carson and I had a sample of the braised short rib ravioli. Wow it was fantastic!! So I went there for breakfast and when I walked in I was greeted right away. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the restaurant was full. After 10 minutes we were seated. On the menu it says, all food is made fresh! Love it so it's not fast food so don't think it's coming out fast. But the wait was really not all that long, maybe 25 -30 minutes. We started out with the watermelon ice tea. Very refreshing not to sweet. And btw free refills. My wife and I ordered the eggs Benedict. We were seated by one of the owners Eve. Wow what a nice lady, very pleasant. Ok the food. It was one of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. The hollandaise sauce was so delicious I could drink it up. Perfect blend and just the right amount of citrus. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the ham was thick cut. The muffin was also toasted just right. I even ordered a side of the sauce it was just that good! The menu is full of exciting food. So I can't wait to get back to Eves and try more food! Trust me you should go! read more

We went in with an open mind that things might not be as smooth as they could be due to their recent opening. The only small hiccups were a bit of wait for our food and I wish they would have come around to fill up our coffee and check in more often. I am confident these improvements will be made with time. Since then, my experience, the food and the (deteriorating) service has been exceedingly disappointing. I ordered salmon Benedict the first time and it was impressive. Fast forward months later and I again ordered the salmon Benedict. A tablespoons of hollandaise sauce topped 1 if 2 poached eggs. I asked my server for more and she begrudgingly brought me another tablespoon of sauce and it's consistency equaled to a dollar of mayo. Having waited for more than 30 minutes for our food there was sufficient time to whip up a fresh batch of hollandaise sauce. I know because I make it at home. Service was neglible. Service was begrudgingly. I won't be returning. read more

This place is a Carson city gem! My first time going and will not be my last. The food was so delicious, I would describe it more of an upscale foodie place however the prices were very reasonable. We got seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. They are only open for breakfast and brunch. The service took about 20 minutes from when we ordered to food being served but the food is made fresh. Everything sounded good but I opted for the chilaquiles with green sauce which did not disappoint. Being an Arizona native, I have found it hard to find good Mexican food but these chilaquiles made me feel like I was home. I felt a little neglected when my coffee cup was empty for longer than I would've liked... However, it is Coffee! They were very busy ...My salmon toast was great with a couple of poached eggs on the side. Next time, I'll try the salmon Benedict My father had a veggie omelette with the veggies cooked extra soft because he is 96 and needs it that way. For once, it was cooked soft enough. A pleasant surprise. We decided to order spaghetti dinners to go. It was really nicely done. The pasta was great. The sauce was good as well and the presentation with the directions on how to cook it all was really nice. We did appreciate that it was in compostable boxes. That said the one disappointment we had was the Styrofoam left over container that we got for the rest of my dad's omelette. Saturday was busy Sunday, we'll it was Sunday in Carson. The reviews made it hard to decide what to order. First day my husband had stark and eggs. Eggs were fresh, steak cooked perfectly. Potatoes were crisp and full of flavor, and you're probably it's steak and eggs and yes it Can be done wrong. They did well on his dish. I had the pumpkin Nutella pancakes. No syrup needed, they were moist, fluffy, and perfectly spiced. Would have loved more Nutella, maybe layered versus just on the top pancake. Sunday we went back my husband hand biscuits and gravy. It was just okay. The biscuits did not appear to be homemade and the gravy was lacking seasoning. I had the apple cinnamon toast, it was okay. It would have been better if the apples were diced and not strips. The lemon marscapone was light but lacking actual lemon taste, maybe if they're doing a deconstructed version of an apple pie, it needs to be flavor forward, I want to know I'm eating tart apples and having the cleansing lemon. The toast was perfectly cooked, light. I know they've only been open 9 months but they need to dial up the flavors, wait times for food, and if it's going to take longer because it's all truly made to order food, then the staff needs to understand their part better, no waiting on refills, water, coffee to deter from the long waits. I think if they fine tune their system, they'll be okay. But to many errors will cause people to not comeback. It will be a one and done. Very clean with a modern edge - coffee was fantastic we ordered the Zeke, French toast and the Banana Brûlée Oats. The French toast was tasty, the Zeke filling and spicy!! But after my wife was two bites in her chicken was completely undercooked to where it had a visible slimy texture. We told the waitress this was raw she took it back and took it off our bill. My friend ordered a cup & it was amazing. Next time a bowl. He also had the chicken sandwich & enjoyed it as well. My other friend had the clam chowder served in a bread bowl, also very good. My husband had the omg sandwich, which was really good. I had the tomato basil soup with grilled cheese and prosciutto, the soup was good, but the prosciutto was cut too thick which made it inedible... I ended up picking it out and just having the grilled cheese. I think I chose the only bad item on the menu. The servers were very friendly and attentive, and all the meals they were serving other customers looked beautiful. We are so excited about this restaurant opening in Carson City, as we desperately needed something new! The food was delicious! We greatly enjoyed the queso tacos made with barbacoa. We ordered a fair portion of menu items including: oxtail soup, garlic bread, huevos rancheros, biscuits and gravy, banana brûlée oats, Philly cheesesteak, pasta and the OMG. I wouldn't order the oxtail soup again. It was not great compared to other soups I've had in the area. The biscuits and gravy weren't for me. The gravy tasted like it had too much milk or cream or something. The biscuits weren't great. Talk the other food was great. The cheesesteak was one of the best I've ever had.
