I couldn't leave him in the house alone while at work because he would (literally) make himself sick with worry. Connie welcomed us as new clients and, as she is a generous, wonderful person, we became fast friends. She has steadily been there for me and my Hubie over the years. Weekdays, weekends, overnights, in a pinch at times with little notice... sending me cute pictures throughout the day of my boy, feeding him, giving him medicine when needed, taking him to the groomer, going on little walking adventures, giving him a little brush 'n fluff from time to time... I even moved back east and she still couldn't get rid of me! When I come back to Olympia periodically for my current job, I bring Hubie simply because I know he misses her. Connie has enriched both our lives and I'm so happy to call her a dear friend.

I was reassured by daily messages and photos that all was well with my pup. She has also been available for last minute overnights which has been very convenient and appreciated. Definitely recommend!

Cindy has watched our dog, Rampage about 3-4 times now when we go away on vacation…read more Let me ask you something. Why would you put your dog at a kennel type place if you have or had this option. My dog is practically like family to Cindy now. It's honestly invaluable what she provides. My dog is never in a crate, and gets to hang with Cindy and her family, go out back and check out the chickens and other animals, he's not locked up in a cage for 20 of 24 hours a day. I get the overnight kennel places probably not having the man power to pay one on one attention to those dogs, but it's just that your dog is going from free reign of your own home to being in a kennel for hours at a time. It's a huge adjustment and difference. With Cindy, they're going from your home, to a home. She gives you updates too on how your dog is doing and sometimes even sends off photos too. I recommend Cindy to any & everyone who's in need for a dog sitter.

My little cat Murray was in the hospital, very sick, and needed to be transferred from her vet in Lodi to a specialist vet in Sacramento. I was tied up with a work crisis but Murray needed to get to Sacramento. After a frantic search on Yelp, I found Cindy and she dropped everything, on a Saturday afternoon, and drove from Manteca to pick up Murray in Lodi and take her to Sacramento. Cindy even stayed in Sacramento for several hours until I could get there. Cindy made it possible for my beloved Murray to get the best medical care and I am forever grateful. She sent me a video of Murray, which I cherish. Thank you, Cindy, your kindness, generosity of spirit and integrity are treasures; thank you for caring about my Murray as if she were your own.

The staff has all been extremely friendly and you can tell they really care about the dogs. They have recently really increased the amount of enrichment activities offered, which are nice add ons to the daycare stay and you always get photos! I have also boarded my pup and I really appreciate that I am allowed to bring his favorite blanket and toys to make him more comfortable. Booking on the app is very streamlined and I appreciate their punch card for daycare visits.

I hate to write this review but after multiple conversations and a lot of thought I put into this,…read moreI feel it's only right. This review is to make awareness of the situation my dog was put into and hopes that this place train their employees to better handle a situation to keep both parties safe. At the end of the day this business is responsible for keeping their own employees and our pets safe. This business is responsible for educating employees on how to properly break up dog fights or avoid instigating them. My dog was dismissed from cbw due to bitting an employee. I couldn't believe it. My dog has never bitten anyone and is usually very submissive towards other dogs. I'd also like to note that this is not the first day care my dog has been to. He was at a previous day care where he stayed for a week without issues. We don't go there anymore because we moved. Now, I couldn't help but be skeptical of people who say they were bit by a dog that doesn't have a history of biting . Things don't usually happen out of nowhere. So ask "what did you do to provoke the dog?". I hate to say it, but most people who work with animals, have no business working with them, either because they can't read body language, push the animal's buttons (Inadvertently or otherwise), or they don't know how to diffuse a situation that involves more than one animal. So after being in my head all day after the incident. I called CBW if I could see the clip of the incident.. and this is what I saw.. There was a dog mounting my dog.. and the whole time that was happening the employee had his back turned and was not aware of what was happening. When the employee finally turned around, that's when my dog was trying to tell the other dog to back off. Then the employee jumped into conclusion and attempted to grab my dog from behind by the collar until he's standing on 2 legs because he assumed my dog was being aggressive. Now imagine.. My dog was already being bullied by a dog and then comes a human. He felt threatened and probably felt ganged up on and acted out out of self defense. I spoke to the manager after seeing that video to go over what happened because I wanted to tell her how I felt about it but the whole time she talked over me, dismissed me a lot, and didn't give me the chance to speak. I just wanted to get it off my chest but that conversation left me feeling so defeated and unheard. The manager explained to me that the employee can't keep his eyes on all dogs.. so ask yourself again, why is there only one employee watching a bunch of dogs? Why didn't the employee use a slip lead to remove him, why didn't he create space before stepping in?. It was a fully failed attempt to diffuse, and my dog got the bad end of it all and was punished unfairly. I'm glad I watched the clip before judging my dog, and you can bet I pat him on the back and was proud of him for standing up for himself because I would've done the same. A non aggression dog bitting in self defense if grabbed by the collar too hard. I couldn't blame him. Moving forward, I just hope no one will have to go through what my dog and I went through, and I only wish that they hire or train their employees properly to avoid another situation like this. I feel bad for the employee who got bit, but could've that be avoided? Absolutely, with proper training.
