For those of you that consider your dog part of the family please read this I have never in my life…read morewritten a bad review but this one I have to do, hear me out and you be the judge. I have left my dog here many times, on the surface they have always appeared to be nice and taken care of my dog. This is an establishment that likes to know when you're going to drop off and when you're going to pick up, I completely understand that and respect it, so when I came to the kennel to pick my dog up at 3:30, because when asked I specifically said 3:30 because that's the soonest I could be there after work. There was no mention of another time. I arrived promptly at 3:30 only to find the kennel closed, so I knocked and knocked and knocked and shouted "hello is anybody there I'm here to pick up my dog" the place was dark and said closed. I was concerned and did not know what to do. The owners house is just up the hill, I decided to go and knock on the door. When she answered she said, in a very angry voice, "what are you doing here, how dare you come to my personal residence" I apologized and said I'm here to pick up my dog she said "we are closed" and I said "I told you I would be here at 3:30" she said "no you did not" I said "yes I did that's when I get off work" she said "we're closed, I told you to come at 4:10" and I said "I'm sorry you didn't, I wouldn't have come if you said any other time" she said "you better stop talking now just give me a minute I will meet you down at the kennel" so I walked down to the kennel and when she came walking up I apologized again and she said "don't talk to me, I am entitled to a break you shouldn't be here" I agreed and apologized again literally with tears in my eyes I tried to tell her again that no other time was told to me, she said "you better just stop talking right now". Before I left I said "listen I'm sorry, there was obviously some miscommunication and I'm sorry to interrupt you" she said "I don't think you are"!! I am here to tell you I am not a liar and I absolutely do not take advantage of people. She did not even want to try to work this out or accept the chance there was any miscommunication. She may have had a really bad day or a bad week but a person that talks to you like that I think she just might miss handle the animals as well. She lost a repeat customer and all recommendations. I went home and checked the time, I keep very good notes, It said drop off at 4:30 and pick up at 3:30!! There was no miscommunication on my part.

The place is very clean on the inside and has two fenced areas (one that is huge) for the dogs to run around. Though a bit of a drive from Poulsbo, EFP is definitely worth the trek. The prior kennel service I used was a lot more expensive, dark and smelled of cat urine. EFP is clean, the dogs get to hang with each other and are not stuck in a tiny 3 x 6 cage for days on end. Five stars!

Your animals of all sizes and behaviors are in good hands with her. I have a 4 year old bully mastiff mix. He's generally good with people as long as his owner is there and he is not rushed into friendship. Lol Upon meeting him she gave him time time at his own pace to get comfortable with her and got him to voluntarily get into her mobile unit and tub. She gave him a great bath. His ears were cleaned, he smelled great, coat was soft and he was very happy. Cassie's deserves 5 stars not only because of her gentle approach with my dog and good service but also because she was very flexible scheduling our appointment and even was patient with me being late for our appointment from a class I had that ran late. I also enjoyed talking with her about animal behaviors, temperament and different breeds. Additionally Her mobile bath business and equipment were clean and well maintained. I'll be having her return to groom both my dogs and happy to find someone on the first experience that's mobile, reasonably affordable, provides good service and that personally like. Thanks Cassie!

I had 2 appointments scheduled over a month in advance and both were canceled at the last minute…read more One was for a co worker emergency and the other time the girl who was going to do my dogs hair cut quit, or went back to school or something. I was told they now cannot accept my mobile appointment after 3pm and they do not do mobile appointments on the weekends. I was told to take my pups to the silverdale shop....which I almost did...but my dogs need quiet spaces and less anxiety. That's why I booked this service the first few times, and I personally dont feel canceling twice in a row (2 solid months in a row) is acceptable. I can get out of work early, but the earliest I could have the dogs ready was by 3pm.... or ANYtime on Friday's, which is when my appointments were scheduled. Basically they have mobile grooming available until 3pm Monday - Friday. Plan on going to the salon, or have back up plans in case they cancel. Waste of time and waiting for something that never happened. Find another service or "get the in" somewhere else. I truely wish I had not waited and continued to attempt to use this service after the first cancelation. Unhelpful service that I would no longer call "mobile grooming".

We looked at a few doggy lodges and felt that Bayside was a nice place and the staff were playful with our dogs. Not only that, they were very clean and the facility did not smell (very important!). Also, their prices are fair compared to other places that we've seen or tried. Since we found Bayside, our pups have been visiting every 2-3 weeks and they love it every time! Even during the COVID restrictions, Bayside was there for them. Our Rotties love to socialize and going to Bayside provides the environment we want for them. The staff is warm and welcoming and we can tell how much they enjoy having our giant spoiled Rotties there. We've used their grooming services and their groomers do a great job and provide a report afterwards on their condition and needs. Love that! After doggy vamp, our pups come home like dead weights. They barely make it to bed because they had oodles of fun at Bayside!
